Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to increase understanding and ability to make infographic media as information media about historical sites in Cisaat Village, Subang, West Java. This is because the use of infographic media is needed in delivering information about historical sites as a form of utilizing information technology and updating information dissemination. The partner in this activity is the Tourism Awareness Group of Cisaat Village, Ciater District, Subang Regency. Participants in this activity are the community, especially members of the tourism awareness group and youth who will become developers and preservers of historical sites. The method that will be used to be able to increase understanding and ability to make infographic media is to use seminars or workshops to members of the tourism awareness group and youth of the Cisaat village community. Through this activity, the output of community service activities is expected to be able to obtain (1) Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), (2) Publication of activity videos on YouTube, (3) Partner Certificate regarding an increase in partner empowerment according to the problem. (4) Online mass media publication.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis peran kolaborasi pentahelix dalam pengembangan destinasi wisata di Desa Mekarbuana, Kecamatan Tegalwaru, Kabupaten Karawang, Jawa Barat. Kolaborasi pentahelix melibatkan lima pilar utama: pemerintah, akademisi, komunitas, bisnis, dan media. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi peran masing-masing pemangku kepentingan dalam pengembangan pariwisata, menganalisis kontribusi mereka, serta mengidentifikasi hambatan yang dihadapi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi pentahelix berperan signifikan dalam meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas pariwisata di Desa Mekarbuana. Pemerintah berfokus pada pengembangan infrastruktur dan pelatihan masyarakat, akademisi memberikan edukasi dan penelitian, komunitas terlibat dalam pengelolaan dan promosi, bisnis mendukung dengan investasi dan pemasaran, serta media membantu dalam promosi dan peningkatan kesadaran publik. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara kelima pilar ini sangat penting untuk keberlanjutan dan keberhasilan pengembangan pariwisata desa.

Abstract

Harapan Island Tourism Village is administratively located in the North Thousand Islands, Harapan Island Village, Jakarta City. The tourism potential of Pulau Harapan is conservation, preservation, and marine tourism. This tourist village is a favorite destination for tourists (leisure) and corporate market tourists. This is proven by the local guide’s experience in accompanying tourist visits. This is the focus of community service to develop the potential of b leisure tourism through Incentive Travel. The goal is to explore the potential of bleisure tourism to increase Incentive Travel tourist visits, which are in line with the city of Jakarta as a bleisure tourism center. This activity was held offline from March 16‒April 30, 2024 on Harapan Island using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method. Starting with five PAR cycles, including know, understand, plan, act, change, where each stage relied on community involvement in solving problem priorities. This was followed by a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) activity, where before (pre-test) and after the activity (post-test), participants measured their knowledge and abilities regarding the tourism potential of Incentive Travel, showing the achievement of good success of the activity. This is an effort to increase public participation in exploring Incentive Travel tourism as a tourism product on Harapan Island.

Abstract

Indonesia as an archipelago has the highest marine biodiversity in the world. One area that holds tremendous potential is Tidung Island, South Thousand Islands. However, its marine ecosystem faces various threats due to low public environmental awareness and the lack of capacity of local groups in managing conservation-based tourism. This service activity aims to assist the Tidung Island Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in designing conservation tourism packages based on community participation and environmental sustainability. This community service was carried out from April 8-30, 2025 offline at the Tidung Island Tourism Village. The implementation method includes Focus Group Discussion (FGD), observation and interview, as well as socialization and training. The results showed that Pokdarwis has high enthusiasm in developing conservation tourism, but still faces challenges in terms of conservation knowledge, tour package preparation, and promotion. The mentoring activities provided improved understanding and technical skills for Pokdarwis in designing conservation-based tourism products, which are aligned with the principles of special interest tourism and regenerative tourism. The hope is that through collaboration between local communities and supporting parties, Tidung Island will be able to develop tourism that is not only economically attractive but also contributes to the preservation of marine ecosystems and the empowerment of local communities in a sustainable manner

Abstract

Perubahan tren pariwisata globalmenunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan terhadap wellness tourism, wisata dengan fokus pada peningkatan kesejahteraan jasmani dan rohani. Pulau Tidung, Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta, memiliki potensi untuk dijadikan destinasi wellness tourism dikarenakan suasana alam yang tenang dan keindahan alamnya. Namun, pengembangan konsep ini memiliki tantangan meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur, rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap konsep wellness tourism, serta kurangnya fasilitas pendukung. Dengan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mendampingi Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) Pulau Tidung dalam merancang dan mempersiapkan paket wisata wellness yang menyesuaikan karakter lokal Pulau Tidung. Pengabdian masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Focus Group Discussion (FGD), observasi dan wawancara, serta sosialisasi konsep wisata wellness tourism kepada Pokdarwis. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dari tanggal 08-30 April 2025 secara live in bersama masyarakat di Pulau Tidung.  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman mengenai konsep ini di lingkungan masyarakat lokal dan pelaku wisata masih terbatas, terdapat antusiasme serta menyetujui ide konsep wellness tourism dikembangkan di Pulau Tidung secara bertahap. Pendampingan ini juga menghasilkan draft paket wisata wellness yang meliputi aktivitas seperti kelas yoga di pinggi pantai, senam bersama, bersepeda, hunting sunrise dan sunset, minuman dan makanan sehat. Temuan ini memperlihatkan perlunya strategi yang berkelanjutan dan kolaboratif antara masyarakat, pelaku usaha, dan pemerintah daerah untuk menjadikan Pulau Tidung sebagai destinasi wellness tourism yang kompetitif.
