Abstract

Perwujudan “Student Well-Being” di sekolah menjadi salah satu program penting dalam meningkatkan pelayanan pendidikan yang eksistensial dan berkelanjutan. Berbagai upaya dilakukan pemerintah seperti pemberlakuan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar yang tertuang dalam keputusan Kemendikbudristek No. 56 Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo dengan tujuan untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan model prosedural dan konseptual dari Manajemen Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar untuk mewujudkan “Student Well-Being”; 2) menganalisis efektifitas pelaksanaan penerapan Manajemen Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar untuk mewujudkan “Student Well-Being”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efektifitas Manajemen Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar dalam mewujudkan Student Well-being di SMA Nurul Jadid guna meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan melakukan kolaborasi dengan berbagai stakeholder yang ada baik guru dengan siswa maupun antarguru. Teknik kolaborasi yang dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan pola Top Down dan Bottom Up, yaitu mem-breakdown dari AKUT (Arah Kurikulum Pesantren) di-breakdown menjadi program-program dari sekolah dan melibatkan regulasi dari Kemendikbudristek.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keefektivitasan teknik goal oriented dalam penyusunan program bimbingan dan konseling dalam pengembangan karakter siswa di sekolah SMAN 10 Medan tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa SMA Negeri 10 Medan. Teknik penarikan sampel adalah dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah model Skala Likert. Tujuan penelitian pertama dan kedua dianalisis dengan teknik persentase. Selanjutnya, tujuan ketiga dianalisis dengan uji wilcoxon. Temuan penelitian ini: Dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa dengan teknik goal oriented dapat mengembangkan karakter siswa di SMAN 10 Medan. Dengan hasil sebelum diberikan perlakuan dengan teknik goal oriented rata-rata skor 66,08 sedangkan setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan teknik goal oriented rata-rata skor 126,62 sehingga dapat dikatakan penelitian ini efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Instagram in strengthening the image of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era. The focus of this study is on the use of Instagram as a medium to build digital branding of Islamic boarding schools. Although many studies discuss the use of social media in education, this study offers a more in-depth approach to the strategy of using Instagram to improve the image of Islamic boarding schools. The method used is qualitative with a case study approach, which allows researchers to dig up in-depth information about the strategy and impact of using Instagram. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews with the head of the Islamic boarding school, Instagram account managers, students, and the community, as well as documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and qualitatively through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The findings of this study indicate that Instagram is effective in presenting Islamic boarding school life, strengthening positive public perceptions, and increasing student registration. This study provides insight into the importance of implementing effective digital strategies for Islamic boarding schools so that they can be more adaptive to developments in information and communication technology and strengthen their image in the eyes of the public, especially the younger generation. Thus, Instagram can be an optimal tool to boost the image of Islamic boarding schools in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the integration of educational technology in curriculum reform at pesantren-based vocational schools in responding to the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The research employed a qualitative case study design. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussions, analysis of digital documents, and questionnaires administered to productive teachers and students of the Software Engineering and Computer and Network Engineering programs. The analysis process was carried out through data reduction, narrative presentation, and cross-verification among sources, using content, discourse, and interpretive analyses. The findings reveal that the use of the NOBOX.AI platform improved module completion rates by up to 73%, reduced assignment dropouts by 21%, and decreased paper usage. Industry collaboration through internships, teacher training, and teaching factory programs enhanced the relevance of students’ skills to real workplace demands. However, challenges such as limited digital infrastructure and teachers’ readiness remain significant obstacles. The implications of this study highlight the need to strengthen teacher capacity, expand equitable digital infrastructure, and ensure the sustainability of industry partnerships so that technology integration can truly foster an adaptive, relevant, and sustainable curriculum. These findings may serve as a valuable reference in formulating vocational education policies in pesantren-based contexts that are responsive to contemporary transformations.

Abstract

The era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 stimulates the application of big data in various sectors, including education, to support better decision-making and improve service quality. At the Vocational High School (SMK) level, big data has great potential to help schools adapt to changing industry needs, especially regarding graduates who are competent in technology and information. This research aims to examine the implementation and development of big data information systems at Nurul Jadid Vocational School to improve the quality of education. This research uses a qualitative case study approach, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show that applying big data at Nurul Jadid Vocational School supports improving the quality of education by making it easier to manage student and teacher data, monitor learning achievements, and develop student competencies. This research produces findings: a). Digitalization and Management of Academic Data at Nurul Jadid Vocational School b) Collaboration with other industries c). Nurul Jadid Vocational School Digital Library. It is hoped that this research will become a reference for other vocational education institutions that wish to utilize big data technology to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This research aims to explore ways to improve the reputation of education through mutual community relations, with a psychological approach as an analytical framework. The method used in this research is a qualitative study, which involves in-depth interviews with educational institution managers and community members, as well as content analysis of various community relations programs that have been implemented. The research results show that open and transparent communication, active involvement in social activities, and a deep understanding of community needs and aspirations can significantly improve the reputation of educational institutions. Additionally, this research found that psychological approaches, such as building trust and empathy, play an essential role in creating mutually beneficial relationships between academic institutions and society. The implications of this research emphasize the need to develop community relations strategies that are more integrated and responsive to social dynamics to strengthen educational institutions' positive image in the public's eyes.

Abstract

The mental health of university students has increasingly become a global concern due to academic pressures, social challenges, and personal stress. Many students face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services, such as stigma, cost, and limited resources. In this context, this study highlights the potential of chatbots as an innovative tool to bridge gaps in mental health services within academic institutions.This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at Nurul Jadid University. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation to gain an in-depth understanding of the impact of chatbot usage on students' mental health. The respondents were students and lecturers, providing diverse perspectives on chatbot utilization. Data analysis involved reduction, presentation, and verification using content, discourse, and interpretive analysis methods. The findings indicate that chatbots are effective in addressing mild to moderate mental health issues but remain limited in handling more complex problems. A lack of personalization also emerged as a significant concern, with 55% of students and 60% of practitioners suggesting that improvements in this area are necessary to optimize the chatbot's ability to meet users' needs.
