Abstract

The motivation of a cadre is very important because it will affect the willingness of cadres to work hard in completing their work and achieving high work productivity. Cadre motivation is a driving force that makes cadres develop creativity and mobilize all their abilities to optimize posyandu services. This study aims to determine the motivation of cadres in increasing the success of posyandu activities during the pandemic. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study was 30 cadres of Krakitan Bayat Klaten Village. The sampling technique uses total sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate test. The results showed that most of the cadres in this study had good motivation as many as 22 respondents (73.3%) out of a total of 30 respondents. The conclusion of this study is that most of the Posyandu cadres in Krakitan Village in increasing the success of activities during the pandemic have good motivation.

Abstract

Based on the preliminary study, it was found that 57 mothers with children aged 6-24 months at the Posyandu in the Working Area of ​​Jiwo Wetan Village. The results of the interviews showed that 3 out of 10 mothers gave complementary foods to their children. Increasing mother's knowledge about proper complementary feeding can be done by conducting health education using counseling methods. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of counseling on mothers' knowledge about giving MP-ASI to toddlers aged 6-24 months. This research method is quasi-experimental with a one-group pretest and posttest design. The sample of this study were all mothers who had children aged 6-24 months who attended counseling about complementary foods at the Posyandu in Jiwo Wetan Village, a total of 32 mothers. The sample technique uses accidental sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis using Wilcoxon. The results showed that the majority of mothers' knowledge about giving MPASI before counseling was in the sufficient category, as many as 21 people (65.5%), while after counseling it increased, namely the majority in the good category, as many as 28 people (87.5%) with the results of bivariate analysis obtained a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that counseling about MPASI is effective in increasing mothers' knowledge about giving MPASI to toddlers aged 6-24 months at the Posyandu in the Jiwo Wetan Village Working Area. Suggestions for mothers are expected to be active in posyandu activities by following every implementation of counseling from cadres or health workers.

Abstract

Conditions pregnancy makes, changes in the skin, and changes in the breasts. Breast care during pregnancy is an important part that must be considered in preparation for breastfeeding the baby and improving blood circulation. Based on the results of interviews with 15 pregnant women, there were 12 pregnant women who did not know proper breast care techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of health education about breast care on the knowledge of pregnant women at the Prambanan Health Center. This type of research is quasi experimental research (quasi experimental designs) with a one group pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study were 30 second and third trimester pregnant women and the sample in this study were 18 second and third trimester pregnant women using accidental sampling technique. Statistical test results using the Wilcoxon signed rank test analysis obtained a significance P = 0000 (<0.005). The conclusion of this study is that health education about breast care is effective in increasing the knowledge of pregnant women at the Prambanan Health Center. Suggestions from this study pregnant women can be more active in participating in classes for pregnant women held by village midwives or the puskesmas.

Abstract

Some of the changes that occur in the elderly, one of which is changes in the endocrine system that occurs in the elderly, namely increasing blood sugar levels, if left unchecked, will cause diabetes mellitus. Non- Communicable Diseases (NCDs), including Diabetes, have now become a serious threat to global health. The significant increase in the prevalence of diabetes carries the risk of developing other diseases, such as heart attacks, strokes, blindness and kidney failure and can even cause paralysis and death. Non-pharmacological techniques are additional therapy besides consuming drugs, namely by consuming Moringa oleifera extract. Moringa leaves contain antioxidants such as flavonoids, vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin C and also contain selenium which helps lower blood glucose levels. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect between Moringa leaf extract on the blood sugar levels of elderly women in Kalikebo Trucuk, Klaten. Quasi-experimental research method, Pre-Experimental Design (Non Design) research design with pre test- post test with control group, the sample in this study was 30 respondents who were divided into 2 groups, namely 15 respondents in the case group who were given Moringa leaf extract for 7 day 2x1 500 (mg/day) and 15 respondents in the control group, this study used the Paired Samples T Test with a p value of 0.000 < 0.05. This shows that there is an effect of giving Moringa leaf extract on blood sugar levels in elderly women in Kalikebo Trucuk, Klaten. The conclusion of the research is that there is an effect of giving Moringa oleifera extract on blood sugar levels in elderly women. Respondents suggested checking blood sugar more regularly and consuming Moringa oleifera extract to lower blood sugar levels

Abstract

Gadgets are small electronic devices that have specific functions, such as smartphones, iPhones, handphones, BlackBerrys, netbooks, tablets, and similar devices. In addition, gadgets significantly impact human lifestyles in terms of thinking patterns, feelings, and behaviors. The use of gadgets in daily life can affect adults, but children are also not exempt from these effects. Gadgets are tools or media used for social interaction, particularly for social contact and communication.The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of the duration of gadget use on the development of children at TK MDI I Plus. The research design is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted at TK MDI I Plus in Pandeyan Village, Ngemplak District, Boyolali, with a sample of 45 respondents. The measuring instruments used are questionnaires and the Denver II, with the aim of using the questionnaire to assess the intensity of gadget use among early childhood. Data analysis includes univariate and bivariate analysis with the Chi-square test.The results show that among the 45 preschool respondents studied at TK MDI I Plus, 80% are high-intensity gadget users. The number of children with normal development in the high category is 26.7%, and those classified as suspect is 73.3%. From the data analysis results, the obtained p-value is 0.000, which is less than 0.05. The conclusion indicates a significant effect of the duration of gadget use on the development of children at TK MDI I Plus. Keywords: Duration of gadget use, child development

Abstract

Data on anemia cases in Central Java Province is 57.1% and anemia is mostly found in TM III pregnant women. Meanwhile, the prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in Klaten Regency is 9.19% [1]. Anemia in pregnancy is a national problem because it reflects the socio-economic welfare of society, and also has a huge influence on the quality of human resources. Pregnancy anemia is called "potential danger to mother and child", which is why anemia requires serious attention from all parties involved in health services at the front line. Anemia is considered a risk factor and can result in life-threatening complications for the mother and fetus [2]. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. The research method used uses a qualitative research design with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were all 86 pregnant women who experienced anemia at the Juwiring Klaten Community Health Center. The data source was taken from January - December 2023, the research instrument used was the medical record data source. Data analysis used the chi-square test followed by logistic regression testing. The results of the study showed that anemia most often occurred in maternal age not at risk (73.3%), parity not at risk (86.0%), status without KEK (68.6%) and upper/higher education level (75.6% ). Factors associated with anemia in pregnant women are maternal age (p-value; 0.035: OR; 2.489), parity (p-value; 0.031; OR; 4.486) and CED status (p-value; 0.011; OR; 2.822). CED status is a factor that influences the incidence of anemia in pregnant women. Early detection and prevention of anemia needs to be improved during ANC visits.
