Abstract

This community service activity aims to develop a web app for the management of sacrificial animal operations, covering the entire process from ordering to meat distribution. The development methodology integrates Agile, DevOps, and Design Thinking. The study focuses on Masjid Baiturrahman located at Jl. Legoso Raya No. 31B, RT 06 RW 07, Pisangan Village, Ciputat Timur District, South Tangerang City. Agile methodology ensures iterative and adaptive development based on user feedback. DevOps automates integration and ensures continuous delivery, facilitating rapid and reliable deployment. Design Thinking guides user-centered solution design through stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. This activity resulted in a web-based application that can be used by the management of DKM Masjid Baiturrahman for managing sacrificial animal data. This web-based application is capable of enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in all stages of the ordering, slaughtering, and meat distribution processes. Moreover, it assists DKM in digitally managing sacrificial animal data, ultimately improving operational performance and congregational trust in the sacrificial process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of Google Scholar, SINTA, and BIMA platforms in improving the quality and quantity of academic publications as indicators of lecturer performance evaluation at the Ganesha College of Economics (STIE). The research was conducted for three months from February to April 2023. The method used a qualitative approach with a case study involving 67 lecturers of S1 Management, S1 Accounting and S2 Management of STIE Ganesha. Data collection techniques through literature studies, interviews, and observations. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and comparative analysis techniques. The results showed that 45 permanent lecturers of STIE Ganesha had used the academic platform, namely Google Scholar and SINTA. And 67 other people already have a BIMA account. The obstacles of lecturers include a) Lack of awareness of lecturers in research, b) Research intention and interest are still weak, c) Do not understand how to use academic platforms, d) Technical ability to make research articles is not the same. The solution to anticipate it by: a) Providing training, socialization or technical support for lecturers in the use of academic platforms, b) Providing intensive assistance to lecturers every time in Writing Academic Skills. The role of the STIE Ganesha Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) as an institution that handles lecturer research is very important in encouraging an increase in the publication of scientific papers by lecturers. The research limits the scope of the use of academic platforms for STIE Ganesha lecturers, it is hoped that wider research development can be carried out related to the publication of scientific papers by lecturers. This research contributes to knowledge insights for the general public in the use of academic platform tools. The research results are expected to provide input for educational institutions to improve the lecturer performance evaluation system and provide better support for improving the quality and quantity of lecturers' academic publications.

Abstract

Flooding in the residential areas of Palangka Raya City has become more frequent, including in the neighborhoods around Jalan Pangeran Samudera. A viable approach for managing flood risks is the use of rooftop rainwater harvesting. The objective of this study is to model the effects of implementing a rooftop rainwater harvesting system in these residential areas on the flow of the main drainage system. The study was conducted in 2024 using a simulation approach. The data used includes maximum daily rainfall, the drainage network and its flow directions, as well as the roof areas of buildings around Jalan Pangeran Samudera. The Rational Method was employed to analyze the discharge both without and with the rainwater harvesting scenario. The research findings show that, for return periods of 2 to 20 years, the drainage discharge without the implementation of the rooftop rainwater harvesting scenario ranges from 4.414 m³/second to 7.396 m³/second. Meanwhile, with the implementation of the rooftop rainwater harvesting scenario, the drainage discharge is estimated to range from 1.847 m³/second to 3.095 m³/second. In other words, for return periods of 2 to 20 years, the implementation of the rooftop rainwater harvesting scenario is estimated to reduce the drainage discharge by between 2.566 m³/second and 4.300 m³/second. On average, the drainage discharge is expected to decrease by 58.15%.

Abstract

The Indonesian language plays a strategic role as a national identity and an effective communication tool capable of reaching various segments of society. In the digital era, social media serves as a primary platform for disseminating information and promoting institutions, including higher education institutions. As a competitive institution, STIE Ganesha requires an effective Indonesian-language-based marketing strategy to attract prospective students, maintain a positive institutional image, and enhance its competitiveness amidst intense digital competition. This research is crucial as the mastery and application of the Indonesian language within a digital context significantly influence communication success, especially in reaching a diverse audience. Language misuse can lead to misunderstandings, reduce credibility, and weaken the impact of marketing messages. This study aims to analyze the patterns of Indonesian language use in STIE Ganesha's social media content, identify the strengths and weaknesses in delivering marketing messages, and propose language use strategies that are both grammatically correct and suitable for social media audiences. The expected outcomes include: (1) scientific publication in a SINTA 4-accredited journal, namely the Indonesian Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (IJOMR), Volume 5 Number 1, March 2025; (2) a practical guide for STIE Ganesha's marketing team in optimizing digital communication; and (3) enhancement of institutional image through more professional and engaging social media content.
