Abstract

Sentiment analysis on public opinion regarding the shopee food application is an interesting topic in the context of evaluating service quality in the shopee food application. In this digital era, user opinion has a very important role in shaping public perception of the application. Therefore, sentiment analysis is needed to understand user opinion about the shopee food application. This study uses Decision Tree C4.5 to analyze public sentiment on the use of the Shopee Food application on Twitter users. However, beforehand it is necessary to overcome the problem of data imbalance which is common in datasets, where the number of positive, negative, and neutral sentiments is not balanced. To overcome this problem, three different techniques are used, namely SMOTE, undersampling, and a combination of oversampling and undersampling. The results of this study indicate that the SMOTE technique provides better results in overcoming data imbalances and increasing prediction accuracy. With an accuracy of 0.88. the SMOTE technique can provide more accurate sentiment predictions than the undersampling technique and the combination of oversampling and undersampling. This is because SMOTE can synthetically expand the number of minority samples, thereby preventing the loss of information and maintaining variation in the dataset. In conclusion, sentiment analysis on the Shopee Food application on Google Play using the Decision Tree C4.5 algorithm and the SMOTE technique can overcome data imbalances with a prediction accuracy of 0.88. This technique is more efficient than the undersampling technique and the combination of oversampling and undersampling. These results can provide developers with valuable insights to improve app quality and user satisfaction.

Abstract

Community Service Activities carried out in the Kebumen Regency NU Branch Conference process were carried out because the problems faced during the previous conference were build-up and long queues during registration, so an online-based system was created to handle this. The aim of implementing a digital registration system (SiregalNU) is to speed up implementation of registration services, digitize registration and as a digital literacy moment for NU residents in Kebumen district. This PKM activity was carried out by 15 UMNU lecturers and students. The implementation of siregalNu and the konfercab registration process were carried out for 5 days. The result of this activity is the NU digital registration system (siregalNu) which can be accessed at siregalnu.com. The main output in Siregalnu is an ID-card which has a QR code containing the unique ID of each registrant. The impact that the committee has had is having a complete database related to SK (MWC, Institution, Banom), data on participants from PRNU to MWC under the leadership of the Nahdlatul Ulama Kebumen Branch for the 2020-2024 term of office.

Abstract

In the current digital era, promotion through visual media is the key to introducing products or business premises to the public. By using video as a promotional medium, companies can expand their marketing reach and make information more interesting and easy for consumers to understand. The problem faced by Kopi Sembilan is the lack of a creative and attractive promotional strategy, as well as not highlighting their Unique Selling Proposition (USP) in every product they promote. In comparison, their competitors were already using video to promote their products, giving them a significant competitive advantage. By studying the creative and technical aspects behind making advertising videos using live shoot and motion graphic technology, this research produced an advertising video that was rated very good by respondents, with a total percentage of 88.2%. This video was broadcast on Kopi Sembilan's official Instagram and received a positive response from the public. However, this research still has several shortcomings, such as the need to add creative elements such as 3D animation, improve animation smoothing, and add voice dubbing to increase the visual and audio appeal of advertisements. It is hoped that this suggestion can be taken into consideration for further development so that the promotion of Kopi Sembilan becomes better and more effective.

Abstract

Advances in information technology have had a significant impact on village government management, especially in supporting open public information and efficient services. This research explores the implementation of the Spiral Method in developing the Village Information System (SID) to increase transparency in Brengkok Village. The spiral method was chosen because of its flexible iterative approach, allowing the development of a system that is adaptive to user needs. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observations and questionnaires to identify village information needs. The system developed includes main features such as Homepage, Village Profile, Village Government, Village Data, Regulations, Maps, Developing Village Index (IDM), and Admin module. The implementation results show that the spiral method is effective in producing a system that suits village needs, with features that support information accessibility, citizen interaction, and secure data management. This web-based information system is able to increase transparency, public participation, and make it easier for residents to access village information. This research recommends further development with interactive features and technical infrastructure improvements to support system sustainability. Thus, the Village Information System based on the Spiral Method makes a real contribution to realizing a more open, efficient and accountable village government.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a digital marketing training program for farmers in Tlogopragoto Village, Kebumen District, focusing on improving their ability to market agricultural products, specifically chili. The study adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection methods such as direct observation, semi-structured interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The training, conducted on November 2, 2024, at the Roda Tani chili warehouse, involved 25 participants from local farmer groups. The results indicate a significant improvement in the farmers' understanding of digital marketing tools, including social media platforms and e-commerce. Participants gained practical skills in content creation, product promotion, and account management. Despite the success, challenges such as limited internet access and device availability were identified as barriers to effective implementation. The training was well-received, with participants expressing high satisfaction with the practical knowledge gained. In conclusion, the digital marketing training was effective in enhancing the farmers' marketing skills, contributing to better product visibility and market reach. However, further support, particularly in infrastructure and continuous training, is necessary to ensure the sustainability of the program and maximize its benefits for the farmers

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has driven businesses to adopt e-commerce systems to enhance their competitiveness in the market. This study aims to develop a website-based e-commerce platform for Art n Soul Store in Purbalingga as a solution to declining sales and limited traditional marketing strategies. The development method used is the Waterfall model, which consists of five stages: requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The platform is equipped with key features such as a product catalog, online payment system, and order management to improve operational efficiency and provide convenience for customers in conducting transactions. System testing was carried out using the Blackbox method, which showed that all system functions operated as expected. The result of this development is expected to help Art n Soul Store expand its market reach, improve service quality, and provide a more practical and enjoyable shopping experience for customers. With the implementation of this e-commerce platform, the store can better adapt to changes in consumer behavior, which increasingly favors online shopping.

Abstract

Workshops play an important role in supporting the automotive industry, but many small workshops still use manual recording that is prone to errors and complicates operational management. This study aims to design and implement a web-based information system at the AA Motor Workshop in Kembangkuning Village, Purworejo, to improve work effectiveness. The system was developed using the waterfall method, starting from the needs analysis stage to maintenance. Testing was carried out using the Black Box approach, focusing on the main functions of the system, such as customer management, service, stock, reporting, and user authorization. The test results showed that all modules functioned according to needs and no critical errors were found during testing. The implementation of the system had a significant impact, where work efficiency increased by 84%, data accuracy reached 86%, and the speed of the administration process increased by about 40% compared to the previous manual system. All data is now recorded automatically and can be accessed in real-time via a responsive web dashboard. This study shows that digitalization can improve the performance of small workshops, and the system developed can be used as a model for technology adaptation for similar businesses in rural areas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai tingkat usability dan pengalaman pengguna (user experience) dalam menggunakan aplikasi Tokopedia, dengan menerapkan metode System Usability Scale (SUS) dan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ).. Metode yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling terhadap pengguna aplikasi Tokopedia yang sesuai dengan kriteria tertentu.Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang kemudian dianalisis untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai kualitas kegunaan serta pengalaman pengguna. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor kegunaan menurut System Usability Scale adalah 54, yang digolongkan dalam kategori “marginal high” dengan grade D serta rating “OK.” Berdasarkan analisis User Experience Questionnaire, aplikasi Tokopedia menunjukkan hasil berada di 25% yang menunjukan  bad atau buruk  .di beberapa aspek seperti efisiensi, kenyamanan, dan kejelasan, tetapi masih membutuhkan perbaikan di area inovasi dan stimulasi. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun aplikasi Tokopedia relatif mudah digunakan dan dapat memenuhi sebagian besar kebutuhan pengguna, perbaikan antarmuka serta inovasi fitur tetap penting untuk meningkatnya pengalaman pengguna secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi dalam pengembangan aplikasi yang lebih baik di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Background: Developing students' critical thinking skills and learning interest is essential in mathematics education, particularly in complex topics like discrete mathematics. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) models, integrated with educational technology such as the Baamboozle edugame, have the potential to address these educational challenges.Aim: This study investigates the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the Baamboozle edugame on students' critical thinking skills and their learning interest.Method: A quasi-experimental design was employed, involving an experimental group using the PBL model with Baamboozle and a control group following conventional teaching methods. Data were collected using posttest instruments to measure critical thinking skills and learning interest.Results: The findings reveal significant differences in both critical thinking skills and learning interest between the experimental and control groups. The experimental group achieved an average posttest score of 84.28 in critical thinking skills compared to 53.43 in the control group. For learning interest, the experimental group scored 75.83, outperforming the control group's 70.13.Conclusion: The study concludes that the PBL model integrated with the Baamboozle edugame effectively enhances students' critical thinking skills and learning interest in discrete mathematics. This approach demonstrates the potential of combining innovative learning models with educational technology to improve student outcomes.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the ability of religious activists to use digital technology as a means of preaching in accordance with the progress of the times. Through in-depth training that focuses on creating religious content in short video format, participants receive practical training on planning, shooting, and editing videos with the CapCut application. From this training, ten videos with religious themes were produced that have been widely distributed through the most popular social media platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. In addition to creating inspiring and informative works, this training also succeeded in increasing participants' understanding of digital audience trends and preferences, especially the younger generation. This activity shows that with a relevant approach and proper guidance, religious instructors can transform into adaptive, professional, and transformative preaching content creators. Thus, the spread of religious messages can be expanded through digital media in a way that is humanistic, inclusive, and in line with the characteristics of the times
