Abstract

Fact Checking Journalism is an important activity in tackling hoaxes in digital media. Liputan6.com is one of the online media that has a Fact Check Channel verified by the International Fact Checking Network (IFCN). This research examines the fact-checking procedures carried out by the Liputan6.com Fact Check Channel with the aim of understanding their efforts in dealing with hoaxes on digital media. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The research results show that the Liputan6.com Fact Check Channel has an important role in reducing cognitive and behavioral uncertainty in society due to hoax information on digital media. They try to verify information, create Debunking articles to reveal facts from hoaxes, as well as Prebunking articles to provide education to prevent the spread of hoaxes. In conclusion, Liputan6.com is active in maintaining the truth of information and contributing to overcoming hoaxes in the digital era.

Abstract

K-Pop photocards, which are part of K-Pop merchandise packages, have a lot of devotees, so it's not uncommon for photocards to have high selling prices. Photocards are so popular among K-Pop fans that many deliberately collect K-Pop photocards. They do not hesitate to spend money to buy. K-Pop photocard collectors also often receive negative comments from other people because they like to collect K-Pop photocards. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, with the aim of finding meaning, motives, and communication experiences of K-Pop photocard collectors, this study uses Alferd Schutz phenomenological theory and Erving Goffman self-presentation theory. The informants in this study were 3 K-Pop photocard collectors. To get the meaning, motives, and experiences of K-Pop photocard collectors, researchers must research in depth so that informants provide true information. The results of the study show that informants have various meanings in collecting K-Pop photocards, namely as happiness, wealth, and killing time. As for the motives that prompted the informants to collect K-Pop photocards, there were several because motives (motif kerena), namely because of aesthetics, benefits, and dissatisfaction. Meanwhile, in order to motives (motif untuk) were found to be related to 3 things, namely happiness, finance and perfection. Communication experiences also varied, namely communication experiences obtained from parents, friends, and K-Pop Photocard sellers in the form of positive and negative communication experiences. Abstract

The research discussed in this journal focuses on the communication patterns of teachers and students with autism at SDIT Mutiara Hati Tambun Selatan. Students with autism are those who have an interaction impairment, have difficulty communicating with their surroundings, cannot look others in the eye, and prefer to withdraw into their own world. The objective of this study was (1) to explore interpersonal communication patterns between teachers and students with autism at SDIT Mutiara Hati Tambun Selatan. (2) Aims to learn the verbal or nonverbal communication used in the admission of autistic children at Mutiara Hati Tambun Selatan Integrated Islamic Primary School. (3) Exploring factors that support and hinder teaching and learning activities at Mutiara Hati Tambun Selatan Integrated Islamic Primary School. With qualitative descriptive research method. The theory used in this study is that Devito's five positive attitudes support interpersonal communication. The results of this study suggest that students with autism who attend regular private schools with other normal children report that interpersonal communication or interpersonal communication patterns are use is more likely in the form of verbal or oral communication with repetition (drill) and the use of slow intonation and soft language. During this time, nonverbal communication is used more in the form of movements interspersed with stories, or smiles, hand gestures, as a form of appreciation for the positive things that students have. autistic have done with the purpose that they have confidence in themselves to interact with their surroundings. keyword: communication pattern, interpersonal communication, verbal communication, nonverbal communication, students with autism
