Abstract

The problem that occurs in TKIT Qurrata A'yun is that currently it only uses WhatsApp Groups as a means of communication between teachers and parents to convey information about children, including activities outside school, Records of children's learning progress are only submitted to parents when receiving report cards. With the web-based system, access to information and monitoring children's learning activities becomes more practical, allowing parents to view data directly from various devices such as computers, laptops, or mobile phones, anytime and from anywhere if they are connected to the internet. The purpose of this study is to design a monitoring system that can provide information to parents, implement a web-based child learning monitoring system. These data were obtained through interviews and observations. The system development method used is Rapid Application Development with 3 stages, namely needs planning, user design, and implementation. The results showed that the success rate of 84.7% of parent questionnaires and 92.5% of teacher questionnaires, indicated that the planned system was "very feasible" to use.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) that can assist in selecting the best bus for tourism purposes in Toraja. The objective of this research is to facilitate the decision-making process for prospective tourists who want to use buses as their means of transportation during their visit to Toraja. The method employed in this research is the Weighted Product (WP) method. This method was chosen due to its ability to handle multiple criteria, enabling selection based on various relevant factors such as price, service quality, bus capacity, operational schedule, and level of comfort. Furthermore, the collected data will be input into the developed DSS using the WP method. The DSS will calculate relative scores for each bus based on the predetermined criteria weights. The results of this research are expected to provide objective and accurate recommendations for selecting the best bus. These recommendations can serve as a guide for prospective tourists in choosing a bus that suits their needs and preferences. Additionally, this research can also provide valuable insights for bus operators in improving service quality and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

One of the data mining processes that is often used in machine learning is the data classification process. A decision tree is a classification algorithm that has the advantage of being easy to visualize because of its simple structure. However, the decision tree algorithm is quite susceptible to incorrect classification calculations due to the presence of noise in the data or imbalance in the data, which can reduce the overall level of accuracy. Therefore, the decision tree algorithm should be combined with other methods that can increase the accuracy of classification performance. Machine Learning is used through an artificial intelligence approach to solve problems or carry out optimization. Adaptive Boosting is used to optimize classification calculations. This study aims to examine the performance of Adaptive Boosting in the process of classifying second-degree diabetes mellitus patients using the Decision Tree algorithm. Diabetes mellitus is known as a chronic condition of the human body, the cause of which is an increase in the body's blood sugar levels because the body is unable to produce insulin or is unable to utilize insulin effectively, which is usually referred to as hyperglycemia.. By using a 60:40 data split, the Decision Tree algorithm produces an accuracy value of 95.71%, while the Adaptive Boosting-based Decision Tree results reach a value of 98.99%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce a model that can assist in determining prospective new students of STMIK AKBA who receive scholarships. The algorithm used is decision tree and nave Bayes to classify the graduation of prospective recipients of the Indonesian Smart Card (KIP) scholarship. Based on the results of the classification of the decision tree algorithm with the confusion matrix, the accuracy value is 44.12 % and the F1-Score is 34.48 %. If you use the Naive Bayes algorithm, it produces an accuracy value of 76.47 % using data on diploma scores and average report cards. Furthermore, for accuracy without using diploma value data and the average report card is 79.41 %. The results of this study show that nave Bayes has a better performance even though it does not use diploma scores and average report cards. Measurement of the results of the nave Bayes classification with the confusion matrix showed low sensitivity with values ​​of 66.67 % and 58.33 % for the first and second scenarios. Based on the evaluation results, the Naïve Bayes algorithm has a better performance than the Decision Tree algorithm in classifying KIP scholarship recipients.

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to uncover the important role played by the social media platform Twitter in shaping public opinion regarding the 2023 Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) selection process in Indonesia. Using advanced techniques such as social network analysis and Python language processing, as well as the application of the Naive Bayes algorithm, this research carefully examines the conversation patterns and topic trends prevalent on Twitter during the CPNS selection phase. The findings of this research unequivocally highlight the enormous influence of Twitter on public sentiment related to CPNS selection, as demonstrated by the classification model's impressive accuracy rate of approximately 95.19%. In addition, this research successfully identifies the influential roles played by key actors, prominent accounts, and narratives in shaping public perceptions. These groundbreaking insights foster a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic nature of public opinion in the context of CPNS selection, providing an invaluable basis for designing more effective communication strategies for the government and prospective civil servants.

Abstract

The management of student report cards at the Sambung Jawa Complex Elementary School still uses Microsoft Excel which can cause the data processing process to be less efficient and prone to errors. The aim of this research is to build a report card application that can increase the efficiency and accuracy of processing student report card data, as well as facilitate access and management of data by teachers and administrative staff. The method used in designing this application is the FAST method (Framework for the Application of Systems Thinking), which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, and implementation. Meanwhile, the testing method used is the black box method, which focuses on testing the functionality of each feature in the application without looking at its internal structure. The results of this research show that the designed web-based report card application can run well and fulfill the needs of report card management at the Sambung Jawa Complex Elementary School. This application has succeeded in increasing the efficiency and accuracy of processing report card data, as well as making data access and management easier by the school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur sejauh mana permainan Domino Soal dapat meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif siswa terhadap materi sepakbola di SMP Negeri 20 Pekanbaru. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari empat tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 37 siswa yang mengikuti permainan Domino Soal, yang berisi soal-soal terkait materi sepakbola, seperti aturan permainan, posisi pemain, teknik dasar, dan sejarah sepakbola. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa, dengan persentase siswa yang menjawab soal dengan benar meningkat dari 8,11% pada pre-test siklus pertama menjadi 59,46% pada post-test. Pada siklus kedua, adanya peningkatan dari 94,59% menjadi 100% sehingga siswa berhasil menjawab soal sesuai dengan Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) pada post-test, yang menunjukkan penguasaan materi yang sangat baik. Selain meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif, permainan ini juga meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran, siswa menjadi lebih aktif dalam diskusi kelompok dan berbagi pengetahuan. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa permainan Domino Soal dapat menjadi metode pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengajarkan konsep-konsep dasar sepakbola secara menyenangkan dan interaktif. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan permainan seperti Domino Soal dapat menjadi alternatif inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah-sekolah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan efektif di bidang olahraga.

Abstract

Digital transformation has positioned social media as a central instrument in the development of modern business. This study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) to examine the role of social media in supporting digital business strategies. The literature selection process was conducted through international databases with inclusion criteria focusing on publications from the last five years. The findings reveal that social media contributes to enhancing brand awareness, strengthening customer engagement, and creating a social commerce ecosystem that enables direct transactions. Furthermore, the use of social media analytics provides competitive advantages through market trend prediction and service personalization. Key challenges involve privacy issues, digital literacy gaps, and regulatory frameworks that have not been fully adapted. The study concludes that the success of digital business is largely determined by the ability of entrepreneurs to integrate social media innovations with sustainable risk management. These insights offer both conceptual foundations for future research and practical guidance for businesses aiming for sustainability in the digital era.
