Abstract

Bermain merupakan aktivitas yang paling disukai oleh anak usia dini, sehingga semua aktivitas anak selalu dimulai dan diakhiri dengan bermain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak bermain outbound bagi anak usia dini terhadap perkembangan kemampuan fisik motorik anak usia 5-6 tahun. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa bermain outbound memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap perkembangan kemampuan fisik motorik anak usia 5-6 tahun, di antaranya: (1) anak mampu melakukan gerakan menggantung (bergelayut), (2) anak mampu melakukan gerakan melompat dan berlari secara terkoordinasi, (3) anak mampu melakukan gerakan antisipasi, (4) anak mampu melakukan gerakan tubuh secara terorganisasi, (5) anak mampu melakukan koordinasi gerakan mata-kaki-tangan-kepala, dan (6) anak mampu secara terampil menggunakan tangan kanan dan kiri dalam melatih keseimbangan tubuh. Selain itu, bermain outbound juga memberikan dampak terhadap aspek nilai agama dan moral, aspek kognitif; dan aspek sosial emosional. Kesimpulannya, bermain outbound memberikan dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap optimalisasi perkembangan fisik motorik anak usia 5-6 tahun, selain terhadap aspek nilai agama dan moral, aspek kognitif, serta aspek sosial emosional.

Abstract

Focus Group Discussion (FGD) adalah bentuk pertemuan sekelompok orang untuk membicarakan hal khusus yang sengaja dilaksanakan untuk kebutuhan tertentu. Focus Group Discusion (FGD) ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pencerahan dan menyamakan persepsi serta berdiskusi untuk membuat rancangan kasar program kegiatan kepramukaan pada guru pembina pramuka, sekaligus semua guru yang ada di SMPN 1 Sukadana tentang kegiatan keparamukaan diawal tahun pelajaran dalam bentuk Sistem Blok. Bentuk kegiatannya FGD ini diawali dengan pemaparan sekilas tentang Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 63 Tahun 2014, dilanjutkan dengan tanya jawab, diskusi, dan merumuskan garis besar program kegiatan sistem blok di bawah bimbingan pengabdi. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh adalah terjadi pemahaman yang sama tentang kegiatan blok ditandai dengan adanya kesiapan untuk melakukan kegiatan blok dengan terencana pada awal tahun pelajaran 2023-2024, dapat menemukan jenis kegiatan sebagai pengisi kegiatan blok yang berpeoman pada Keputusan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Republik Indonesia Nomor 63 Tahun 2014, dan tersusunnya program kegiatan blok yang akan dilaksanakan pada tahun pelajaran 2023/2024.

Abstract

Program sebuah organisasi merupakan pedoman utama dalam pengendalian kegiatan yang dijalankan sebagai upaya untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi yang bersangkutan. Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 1 (SMPN 1) Sukadana, setiap tahunnya selalu menyelenggarakan pemilihan pengurus Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS), sesuai dengan pergantian tahun pelajaran, sejalan  dengan program sekolah juga dengan program OSIS itu sendiri. Kegiatan lanjutan dari terbentuknya pengurus OSIS baru, diadakan kegoatan Latihan Dasar Kepeimpinan Siswa (LDKS) untuk setiap tahunnya. Diantara kegiatan itu ada acara khsuus membahas tentang manajemen organisasi OSIS yang di dalamnya ada penyusunan program kerja. Pelaksanaan agenda acara tersebut dapat digambarkan sebagai berikut: pertama semua pengurus OSIS diberikan pencerahan tentang manajemen organisasi, langkah kedua mempelajari program pengurus lama, ketiga menentukan keberhasilan program dan kekurangannya, diakhiri dengan membuat rancangan program baru dengan berpedoman pada hasil evaluasi program lama. Peserta dibagi menjadi beberapa kelompok sesuai dengan mata program yang ada, dilaksanakan diskusi kelompok dan diskusi anatar kelompok, sebelum diambil kesimpulan secara menyeluruh. Kegiatan ini berlangsumh selama 150 menit, sesuai waktu yang disediakan panitia.

Abstract

Kemandirian belajar siswa perlu dikembangkan pada pembelajaran guna membantu siswa mencapai tujuan belajar. Pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran dapat menumbuhkan kemandirian belajar pada siswa, karena pembelajaran ini melibatkan siswa secara aktif melalui berbagai pengalaman belajar dimana siswa dapat memperoleh informasi dan menggunakan strategi belajarnya sehingga pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan saintifik terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa kelas V di SDN 3 Banjaranyar. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan pre-eksperimen (one group pretest posttest design). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil uji-t, didapatkan thitung > ttabel yaitu 6,53 > 1,75 pada taraf signifikansi 5% sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan saintifik terhadap kemandirian belajar siswa kelas V SDN 3 Banjaranyar. Selain itu, berdasarkan analisis kategorisasi kemandirian belajar, secara keseluruhan kemandirian belajar siswa menunjukkan kategori sedang dengan rata-rata 51,60. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa sudah mampu mandiri dalam pembelajaran dan tidak bergantung kepada orang lain dalam menyelesaikan tugasnya.

Abstract

This study aims at exploring the impact of optimizing reading corner to increase early childhood’s interest in reading and the effective strategies for integrating reading corners into learning. The study used a qualitative method under a case study approach and involving 14 early childhoods aged 4 - 5 and two teachers from Kober Lil Awlad, Ciamis Regency. The data were collected through in-depth interview and observation. The results revealed that optimizing reading corner can enhance early childhood’s interest in reading, creativity, and critical reasoning skills through several strategies implemented by the teachers. These strategies include updating the location and decoration of the reading corner, adding and arranging book collections, providing non-book support equipments, integrating the reading corner into learning activities, collaborating with parents, regular interactive activities, and the active role of teachers as inspirers, motivators, facilitators and evaluators to support early childhood’s interest in reading. In conclusion, optimizing the reading corner can improve early childhood’s interest in reading, creativity, and critical reasoning skills in 4 - 5 year old at Kobar Lil Awlad.

Abstract

Toileting habituation is an effort to develop toilet skill that is need to be learnt as early as possible for early childhood’s life skill in the future. This study aims to determine the positive effect of toileting habituation on early childhood aged 3-4 years. In this study, the researchers used a qualitative method under a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. This study was conducted to 10 early childhoods aged 3-4 years in Kober Al Mujahid 2, Pamarican District, Ciamis Regency, West Java. This study was carried out through 2 cycles, at which each cycle was carried out 3 times. The results of the study showed that the habit of toileting had a positive effect on early childhood, at which in the pre-cycle the percentage of early childhood was Very Good Development (BSB) with 0%. Furthermore, in the first cycle the percentage of early childhood was Very Good Development (BSB) increased up to 10%. Then, in the second cycle, the percentage of early childhood periodically increased up to 20% with the achievement of Developing Very Well (BSB). In conclusion, toileting habituation is able to have a positive effect on early childhood’s understanding in maintaining sanitation, fine motor skill, cognitive, and independence in Kober Al Mujahid 2 Bangunsari.

Abstract

In early childhood, understanding information would take place very quickly, therefore at this time early childhood is going to do a lot of imitation. So that, it is important to pay attention to enhance his/her fine motor skill sustainably. There are several activities that can be done to train fine motor skills in early childhood including geometric pattern cutting activities.  This study aims at determining how the effect of geometric pattern cutting activities on early childhood’s fine motor skill of group B at RA Sabilissalam Baregbeg Ciamis. This study used quantitative method under pre-experiment through one-group pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample of 16 students. The processing technique was carried out using SPSS. The results of this study showed that the pretest indicated 12.5% of early childhood which is categorized underveloped (BB) and 87.5% of early childhood which is categorized developing category (MB). After the use of cutting activities, the posttest results showed an increase with 68.75% of early childhood which is categorized developing as expected (BSH) and 31.25% of early childhood which is categorized developing very well (BSB). Based on the results of the Wilcoxon test, the value of 0.000 <0.05 means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected.  Then, it is concluded that the use of geometric pattern cutting activities has a significant effect on early childhood's learning at RA Sabilissalam Baregbeg Ciamis.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of playing blocks on early childhood’s fine motor skill. The study used Pre-experimental Design using the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The number of samples was 14 students, with a saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a structured observation sheet and proceeded by SPSS Software. Then a hypothesis test is carried out using the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study showed that the early childhood’s fine motor skill scores before treatment were categorized Not yet Developed (BB) with the percentage 71.43%, and then were categorized Starting to Develop (MB) with the percentage 28.57%. After giving playing blocks treatment, the early childhood’s fine motor skill reached the category of Developing According to Expectation (BSH) with the percentage 85.71%, and then reached the category Very Well Developing (BSB) with the percentage 14.29%. Apart from that, after carrying out the Wilcoxon test, it was discovered that the sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05. Then it showed that the Pre-Test and Post-Test have a significant influence on the fine motor development of early childhoods, at which it is stated that if the sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of playing blocks influenced towards the developmen of early childhood’s fine motor skill at RA Miftahul Jannah located in Baregbeg, Ciamis Regency.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the fact that early childhood’s fine motor skill has not reached the expected level. Thus, the aim of this research is to determine the influence of using collage towards early childhood’s fine motor skill. This study used quantitative method under an experimental design using One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The total sample was 8 early childhoods with a saturated sampling technique. The pre-test results showed that 63% of early childhood with the category not yet developed (BB), and 38% of early childhood were in the category beginning to Develop (MB). After using collage, the post-test results showed an increase with 50% of early childhoods reached the category develop according to expectation (BSH) and 50% of early childhood reached the category very well develop (BSB). Then, the results of testing hypothesis showed that the sig. (2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05, which means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of collage has a positive influence towards early childhood’s fine motor skill at RA Safinatunnajah.

Abstract

The problem mostly experienced by EFL students is the assumption of difficulty in reading English texts. Thus educators are always looking for the best teaching approach methods to develop skills, especially in reading skills.  The present study mainly describes the students’ voices about using SQ3R in improving reading skills in the Indonesian higher education context. This study belongs to a descriptive qualitative study. Data were gathered through observation and interviews with students. The results of the study demonstrate that most students believe that the existence of the SQ3R method can have an impact on the learning process of students. It has benefits including improving students' reading comprehension skills, increasing high curiosity, and being able to provide experiences of understanding discourse more easily.
