Abstract

Competition in education becomes inevitable, many educational institutions are abandoned by customers so that the negative dynamics of some educational institutions. Meanwhile, Islamic educational institutions, especially madrassas, are still overwhelmed by second-class education institutions with a favorable level under public education institutions. There are still many people who are lacking or even not yet know madrasah. Therefore, many changes have to be made, especially madrasah related to the management pattern. Madrasahs as education service providers need to learn and have a passion for increasing customer satisfaction because education is a circular process that is facing each other and sustainable. The madrasah initiative starts from finding out. In a world full of innovation, competition and expansion, marketing terms need to be redefined. The marketing of educational services in Madrasahs does not necessarily mean commercialization, but prioritizes quality education, and provides excellent service to its stakeholders, thereby providing satisfaction to the community that can be beneficial in increasing the "selling point" of Madrasahs. Keywords: Educational Services, Marketing Strategy, Marketing Mix.

Abstract

Di era modernisasi, pesantren sebagai salah satu lembaga pendidikan Islam tidak hanya bisa diam dan menjalankan metode dan sistem pembelajaran yang masih bersifat tradisional, jika tidak ingin tertinggal di belakang. Oleh karena itu, pesantren membutuhkan banyak perubahan dalam memenuhi tuntutan zaman. Berbagai ide dan opini pun bermunculan seiring dengan dimulainya modernisasi di dunia pesantren. Namun, pesantren tetap tidak bisa direkonstruksi secara penuh oleh paham modernisme di Indonesia. Karena pesantren, selain sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam tertua di Indonesia, juga merupakan aset budaya bangsa yang bersifat religius. Hal ini terlihat dari adanya unsur orisinalitas budaya, seperti bangunan pesantren, sistem asrama, beberapa jenis pengajaran yang diserap dari budaya daerah tertentu dan sebagainya. Jadi pesantren di era modernisasi menghadapi dilema yang sangat berat, di satu sisi ia harus berusaha untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan perubahan zaman yang menuntutnya meninggalkan sistem dan metode tradisional. Dan di sisi lain ia harus mempertahankan budaya luhur bangsa yang identik dengan religiusitas dan norma-norma agar tidak ikut dalam plagiatisasi budaya barat.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the resilience capabilities of Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers in facing professional and contextual challenges through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Using the PRISMA method, 12 articles from 2015–2024 were identified and analyzed to explore the internal and external factors of ECE teachers' resilience. The analysis results indicate that 33% of the articles highlight the role of internal resilience factors such as self-compassion, ego-resilience, and self-esteem. In comparison, 50% of the articles emphasize the importance of social support, institutional policies, and training as external resilience factors. 17% of the articles discuss the interaction between internal and external factors. These findings affirm that resilience results from a dynamic interaction between the individual and their environment. This research recommends developing resilience-based training programs and institutional policies that support the well-being of ECE teachers. With a holistic approach, early childhood education teachers are expected to be better prepared to face professional and contextual challenges that optimally contribute to supporting the development of young children.

Abstract

Disaster mitigation education in elementary schools plays a crucial role in raising awareness and preparedness among students to face disasters. SD Negeri 2 Bawang, as one of the schools involved in this program, conducted an earthquake disaster mitigation simulation aimed at improving student preparedness. This study aims to analyze the implementation and impact of disaster mitigation activities on students' understanding and preparedness. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with an observational and interview approach involving the school principal, teachers, and students. The results show that the disaster simulation successfully increased student preparedness, as evidenced by their active participation in training and their ability to follow procedures quickly and accurately. The procedures taught, such as taking shelter under desks, evacuating the building in an orderly manner, and following evacuation routes, were executed well. In conclusion, the disaster mitigation program at SD Negeri 2 Bawang is effective in improving student preparedness, but it requires improved facilities and further training to expand the program to other schools.

Abstract

Inclusive education is an effort to provide equal education for all children, including children with special needs (CWSN), within the same educational system. This study aims to identify and analyze the strengthening of early childhood education (ECE) teacher competencies in supporting inclusive education in Indonesia. Based on a systematic review of 16 relevant articles, it was found that although many ECE teachers show a positive attitude toward inclusion, they feel professionally unprepared to face the challenges presented by CWSN. Limitations in relevant training and a lack of in-depth resources are the main obstacles in implementing inclusive education in ECE settings. However, community-based training, workshops, and mentoring have proven to enhance teachers' understanding and skills in managing inclusive classrooms. Additionally, collaboration with parents and other professionals, such as psychologists and therapists, is also an important factor in supporting the success of inclusive education. This study shows that strengthening teacher competencies through continuous and collaborative training can address existing challenges and improve the quality of inclusive education in ECE. The findings provide significant contributions to designing more effective policies to support inclusive education in Indonesia.   ABSTRAK Pendidikan inklusif merupakan upaya untuk memberikan pendidikan yang setara bagi semua anak, termasuk anak berkebutuhan khusus (ABK), dalam satu sistem pendidikan yang sama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis penguatan kompetensi guru PAUD dalam mendukung pendidikan inklusif di Indonesia. Berdasarkan tinjauan sistematis terhadap 16 artikel yang relevan, ditemukan bahwa meskipun banyak guru PAUD menunjukkan sikap positif terhadap inklusi, mereka merasa kurang siap secara profesional dalam menghadapi tantangan yang dihadapi ABK. Keterbatasan dalam pelatihan yang relevan dan kurangnya sumber daya mendalam menjadi hambatan utama dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusif di PAUD. Meskipun demikian, pelatihan berbasis komunitas, lokakarya, dan mentoring terbukti meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola kelas inklusif. Selain itu, kolaborasi dengan orang tua dan tenaga profesional lainnya, seperti psikolog dan terapis, juga menjadi faktor penting untuk mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan inklusif. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan yang berkelanjutan dan berbasis kolaborasi dapat mengatasi tantangan yang ada dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan inklusif di PAUD. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam merancang kebijakan yang lebih efektif untuk mendukung pendidikan inklusif di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the role-play-based emergency drill model as a contextual learning approach in improving early childhood disaster preparedness. The study was conducted at RA Tamrinusyibyan, an early childhood education unit located in an earthquake-prone area. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicated that disaster simulation activities carried out through role-playing were able to improve children's understanding of danger signs and evacuation procedures and form responsive and empathetic behavior in emergency situations. Children showed high enthusiasm, were able to follow instructions well, and began to apply the concept of preparedness in everyday life. Teachers play an important role as facilitators who package activities in a fun and educational play atmosphere. These findings indicate that this model supports thematic and holistic learning and forms strong characters in children from an early age. The role-play-based emergency drill model is recommended for implementation in early childhood education units, especially in disaster-prone areas, as an effort to provide effective and child-friendly risk mitigation education.
