Abstract

This research aimed to increase teacher’s competition and students’ echievements in study with applied study based on ICT (information and communication technology) as a multimedia tool in learning process. This reseaarch used descriftive  method. The sample in this research were four teachers and and fourty four students. The technique to collect the data was observation, interview, and students’ score achievments. The result of this study that teachers’ statement in IPA subject said that activity by used ICT (information and communication technology) made students more interest and active in studying, than conventional study , but there were shortage in the activity especially to the facility that did not suitable so the study activity used ICT media ) information and communication technology) did not effective done. The score of students’ prestige in SMPN 1 Manyak Payed as 76,18% and SMPN 2 Karang Baru as 68,45% at Aceh Tamiang dthatistrict. It could be conclude that teachers had be done ICT media in learning process but not all the teachers used ICT because the facility did not complete meanwhile the student’s prestige in SMPN 1 Manyak Payed higher than students’ prestige in SMPN 2 Karang Baru.

Abstract

Dialogue of teacher in spesific lesson (MGMP) is a forum for develop of environment teacher in specific lesson and as a place to make same perceftion for somethting that has correlation with learning process especially for one lesson. The aim of this activity had been done by tim of PKM in MGMP to make media from used media was given knowledge to the biology’s teachers in MGMP at the level of senior high school in Aceh Tamiang. The method in this activity was descriptif qualitative. The sample in this activity was 30 participants that consist of teachers through biology MGMP at level of senior high school in Aceh Tamiang. The result of this activity from the questoner was share for biology’s teachers and got the result 75% that answered “Agree” to continue this activity used in learning process. So, it can conclude that this activity got good respond to continue the knowledge in learning process at school.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran pictorial riddle pada mata pelajaran sejarah. penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif.Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 2 yang berjumlah 27 siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan menggunakan observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan memperoleh hasil (1) model pictorial riddle dapat di terapkan pada mata pelajaran sejarah dan memperoleh hasil sebesar 77% yang mana berada pada kategori baik. (2) Respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran pictorial riddle baik dibuktikan dengan persentase respon siswa pada lembar angket yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 85% berada pada kriteria baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (CIRC) Berbantu Media Audio Visual Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Sejarah Pada Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Timang Gajah Kabupaten Bener Meriah”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah model pembelajaran CIRC berbantu audio visual berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI IPA I SMA Negeri 3 Timang Gajah Bener Meriah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dan desain One-Shot Case Study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh jumlah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 3 Timang Gajah yang berjumlah 65 siswa terdiri dari 3 kelas yaitu kelas XI  IPA I berjumlah 21 siswa dan kelas XI IPA II berjumlah 23 siswa serta kelas IPS berjumlah 21 dalam peneliti ini lebih berfokus pada kelas XI IPA I

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kepala bernomor terstruktur berbantuan media papan labirin pada pembelajaran sejarah dan apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kepala bernomor terstruktur berbantuan media papan labirin dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Darussalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu purposive sampling. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XII IPS yang berjumlah 12 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu, observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui bahwa (1) penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kepala bernomor terstruktur berbantuan media papan labirin telah terlaksana dengan baik sesuai dengan sintak model dan media pembelajaran dan berhasil meningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa, (2) Peningkatan prestasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas  XII IPS SMA Negeri 1 Darussalam setelah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe kepala bernomor terstruktur berbantuan media papan labirin sangat meningkat, terlihat dari nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa ketika UAS yaitu 77,4 dan nilai rata-rata setelah penerapan yaitu 85,4.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low interest in learning students in history subjects in class XI IS at SMAN 2 Binjai City, North Sumatra. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of card game history timeline media on the interest in learning history of class XI IS students at SMAN 2 Binjai City, North Sumatra and the magnitude of the influence of Card Game History Timeline media on the interest in learning history of class XI IS students at SMAN 2 Binjai City, North Sumatra. This research uses a quantitative approach with a type of true experimental design research using posttest-only control design. The population in this study was all class XI IS students at SMAN 2 Binjai City which amounted to 4 classes and the sample used in this study was class XI IS 3 as a control class consisting of 20 students and class XI IS 4 as an experimental class consisting of 20 students. Sampling technique using simple random sampling. The data collection technique in this study used observation, documentation, and questionnaire provision. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the results of the hypothesis test used a t-test and obtained a calculated value = 1.40, while ttabel = 1.31 at a significant level (α = 0.05) while dk = 38 was 1.31 with the criteria Ha accepted.

Abstract

Penelitian Dalam pembelajaran sejarah, terdapat keluhan dari guru karena nilai siswa belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) penerapan model pembelajaran pair cheks berbantuan media pop up book pada mata pelajaran sejarah (2) peningkatan hasil belajar sejarah siswa sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pair cheks berbantuan media pop up book di SMA Negeri 2 Meulaboh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Meulaboh. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IIS 1. Adapun teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel dengan menentukan kriteria-kriteria tertentu ataupun tujuan yang sama. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, dokumen, nilai sebelum perlakuan dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh varians nilai test awal 427,86 varian nilai test akrhir  = 114,25 rata-rata nilai tes awal  39,45 dan rata-rata nilai test akhir  = 70,6. Dengan taraf  signifikan (α) = 0,05 dan derajat kebebasan (dk) = (20 – 1) = 19 sehingga dari tabel distribusi t diperoleh , diperoleh ttabel thitung yaitu 1,738,9 atau dengan kata lain thitung ttabel dalam artian hipotesis H0 ditolak  dan hipotesis H1 diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran pair cheks berbantuan media pop up book dapat  meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas XI IIS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Meulaboh.

Abstract

This article examined the history of the merkus pine forest in the Dutch colonial era in Tanah Gayo, Aceh Province, Indonesia. The researcher focused on finding facts about (1) forest management and exploitation; and (2) the life of the contract labor. In this study, we employed the historical method using primary sources, which consisted of documents or archives, reports, pictures, and records of the Dutch people’s journey to Tanah Gayo. In addition, the secondary sources were books, newspapers, thesis, and relevant articles. The author found three very basic problems. First, before the arrival of the Dutch colonials, most of the merkus pine forest was part of ulayat lands and customary forests. The forest itself was regulated by custom and maight not be owned by individuals. In addition, the community was traditionally given the right to use the resources in the forest. During the Dutch colonial period, the forest management system adopted many systems and rules from Java, but these rules were interpreted by the Dutch according to the purpose of exploitation so that it seemed unclear. Second, the contract labor were Javanese, but these workers were actually part of human exploitation.

Abstract

This research examines the migration of the Minangkabau to Tanah Gayo, Aceh. This research aims to describe the history of migration, the factors of migration, and the impact of the migration of the Minangkabau tribe to Tanah Gayo. The method used in this research is an ethnological research method with data sources through literature studies. This study shows that the history of migration of the Minangkabau tribe to Tanah Gayo started in 1915 (during the Dutch colonial period) and continued until post-independence. The Minangkabau tribe came in waves and generally as traders of spices and textiles. The factors that make the Minangkabau migrate to Tanah Gayo are due to economic factors by way of trading, and cultural factors also influence, namely because there is a matrilineal system. In addition, other factors are due to the philosophy of life that recommends migrating, and other factors are due to disputes in the area of ​​origin and the spreading of the Muhammadiyah organization. The impact of the presence of the Minangkabau tribe on the Tanah Gayo community is the condition of Tanah Gayo being multicultural, the recognition of the Muhammadiyah organization, Minang traders who have created a market, and the occurrence of cultural acculturation due to the marriage between the Gayo tribe and the Minangkabau tribe.

Abstract

Diplomacy and war brought independence to Indonesia. Many people joined in the battle for independence, even Muslim scholars and students interested in expelling colonialism. Teungku Abdul Djalil, a preacher in Aceh, issued a fatwa commanding the people to “depopulate” the Japanese from the veranda of Mecca. Teungku Abdul Djalil, or more generally known as Teungku Cot Plieng, was the leader of Dayah Cot Plieng in Bayu, North Aceh. Since 1942, this prominent clergyman has rallied 400 students (santri) to openly oppose the Japanese resistance in Aceh. His study attempted to quantify the success of the character and his followers (santri) in achieving Indonesian independence, as well as their resolve not to be influenced by Japanese Hakko Ichiu political propaganda. Utilizing a descriptive-analytic historical method, the research process began with data collection (heuristics), source critique, interpretation, and historiography. The research subjects’ credibility was established through perpetrators and witnesses from Japan’s history of resistance. This investigation revealed that Teungku Abdul Djalil and his students played an important role as the first pioneers in expelling the Japanese from Indonesia.
