Abstract

Produksi laos yang berlimpah dengan fluktuasi harga jual membuat pendapatan petani laos tidak menentu. Kelurahan Sukamulya membangun UMKM Serundeng Laos dengan memberdayakan ibu-ibu rumahtangga untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Namun, produksi serundeng laos menghadapi permasalahan dalam memproduksi, yaitu tidak diproduksi secara kontinu akibat masih rendahnya penjualan. Melihat bauran pemasaran pada produk serundeng laos, pengemasan dan pelabelan produk masih blm tepat. Selain itu, pemasaran produknya juga masih terbatas. Untuk itu, diperlukan penyuluhan pengemasan dan pelabelan serta strategi pemasaran online yang tepat agar UMKM serundeng laos menjadi lebih baik. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan motivasi dan keterampilan kepada masayarakat untuk mampu memahami bagaimana pengemasan dan pelabelan yang tepat serta strategi pemsaran online yang baik. Lokasi Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Sukamulya, kecamatan Sematang Borang Kota Palembang pada tanggal 12-19 Februari 2020. Metode yang digunakan yaitu, penyuluhan dan pelatihan kepada peserta tentang pengemasan, pelabelan serta strategi pemasaran online. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 26 peserta, yang diikuti dengan antusias dan diskusi yang hidup selama pelatihan berlangsung. Hasil Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pengabdian berupa penyuluhan, pelatihan, seta tanya jawab sangat tepat dalam memberikan pemahaman tentang pengemasan dan pelabelan serta strategi pemasaran online yang tepat

Abstract

Lahan lebak dangkal memiliki sifat kimia dengan C-organik tergolong sangat tinggi dan kation-kation basa rendah (Ca-dd, Mg-dd, K-dd dan Na-dd), oleh karena itu lahan lebak ini perlu diberi pupuk kandang dan pengaturan jarak tanam.  Pupuk kandang diharapkan dapat memperbaiki kesuburan tanah secara fisik, kimia dan biologi tanah dan jarak tanam yang diatur dapat meningkatkan produktivitas jagung manis.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan jenis pupuk kandang dan jarak tanam yang tepat dalam meningkatkan produktivitas jagung manis di lahan lebak dangkal.  Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di lahan petani desa Pulau Semambu Kecamatan Indralaya Utara dari bulan April sampai Januari 2019.  Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen lapangan dengan tata letak RAK Faktorial yang terdiri dari 12 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang 3 kali.  Faktor I yaitu jarak tanam (J):  70 x  25 cm (J1), 60 x 25 cm (J2), 50 x 25 cm (J3).  Faktor II yaitu Jenis Pupuk Kandang (K): kontrol (pupuk kimia anjuran) (K0), pupuk kandang kotoran sapi (K1), pupuk kandang kotoran ayam (K2), pupuk kandang kotoran kambing (K3).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jarak tanam 60 x 25 cm dengan pupuk kandang kotoran ayam memiliki pertumbuhan dan produksi tertinggi yaitu 2,30 kg/petak atau setara 9,20 ton/ha. Shallow swamp land has chemical properties with very high organic C and low base cations (Ca-dd, Mg-dd, K-dd and Na-dd), therefore this lowland area needs to be given manure and spacing. plant. Manure is expected to improve soil fertility physically, chemically and biologically, and regulated spacing can increase sweet corn productivity. This study aims to determine the type of manure and the right spacing to increase sweet corn productivity in shallow lebak land. This research was carried out on the farmer's land of Pulau Semambu Village, North Indralaya District from April to January 2019. The method used was a field experiment method with a Factorial RAK layout consisting of 12 treatment combinations repeated 3 times. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan jenis pupuk organik dan dosis pupuk NPK majemuk terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit tanaman tebu (Saccharum officinarum L.). Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di lahan milik petani Jl. H.M. Asyik Aqil Km 16 Kel. Sukajadi Kec. Talang Kelapa Kab. Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini telah berlangsung pada bulan September sampai Desember 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (Split plot design) disusun dengan 9 kombinasi diulang 3 kali, sebagai perlakuan petak utama : Jenis pupuk organik (O), O1 = kotoran ayam, O2 =kotoran sapi, O3 = sekam padi dan perlakuan anak petak : Dosis pupuk NPK majemuk (D), D1 =50 kg/ha, D2 = 100 kg/ha, D3 = 150 kg/ha. Peubah yang diamati adalah waktu keluar tunas (hst), tinggi tananam (cm), jumlah anakan, jumlah daun (helai), panjang akar (cm), dan jumlah akar (helai). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan jenis pupuk organic berpengaruh nyata sampai sangat nyata terhadap peubah yang diamati sedangkan perlakuan dosis pupuk NPK majemuk dan interaksi keduanya berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua peubah yang diamati. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil secara tabulasi kombinasi  jenis pupuk organik kotoran ayam dan dosis pupuk NPK majemuk 150 kg/ha memberikan hasil tertinggi pada pertumbuhan bibit tanaman tebu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menentukan dosis pupuk organik cair dan pupuk kalium yang sesuai terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). Penelitian ini telah di laksanakan di lahan petani Kel. Sukajadi Kec.Talang Kelapa, Banyuasin, Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan Racangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial dengan 9 kombinasi perlakuan yang diulang 3 kali. Adapun faktor perlakuan, Faktor  I Pupuk Orgaik Cair (C) yaitu : C1 =  6 ml/L air, C2 = 8 ml/L air, C3 = 12 ml/L air. Faktor II Pupuk Kalium (K) yaitu : K1 = 50 kg KCl/ha (10 g/petak) , K2 = 75 kg KCl/ ha (15 g/petak) , K3 = 100 kg KCl/ha (20 g/petak). Peubah yang di amati adalah Tinggi tanaman (cm), Jumlah daun (helai), Jumlah anakan per rumpun, Berat umbi per rumpun (g), Jumlah umbi per rumpun dan Berat umbi per petak (kg). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara tabulasi interaksi antara  pupuk  organik  cair  8  ml/l  air  dengan  pupuk  Kalium 50kg/ha menghasilkan   hasil tertinggi  terhadap berat umbi per petak atau setara dengan  8,20 ton/ha.

Abstract

Organic fertilizer is the final result of the decomposition of parts or remains of plants and or animals that have undergone engineering, in solid or liquid form. Household waste, one of which is stale rice, is usually thrown away directly into the environment, even though it can still be used, for example, made as liquid organic fertilizer. For this reason, it is necessary to remodel household waste, especially stale rice, into liquid organic fertilizer by utilizing existing local microorganisms. This Community Service aims to provide motivation and knowledge and skills to the community on how to make liquid organic fertilizer from stale rice by utilizing local microorganisms. The location of Community Service was held at RT.28 RW.007 Silaberanti Village, Jakabaring District, Palembang City, on January 30, 2021. The method used was counseling and training to participants on the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from stale rice. The implementation of the activity was attended by 12 participants, who were followed with enthusiasm and discussions and questions and answers during the training. The results of this Community Service show that the service method in the form of counseling, training and question and answer is very appropriate in motivating the community to be able to make liquid organic fertilizer from stale rice.

This research has been carried out on land owned by farmers located in Pasir Putih Village, Talang Kelapa District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra. This research was conducted from September to December 2020. This study used a Split-plot design consisting of 9 treatment combinations and 3 replications. As the main plot treatment, Varieties Type (V): V1 = Bonanza ; V2 = Sweet Boy ; V3 = Sweet Lady and subplot treatment Amount of Vermicompost Organic Fertilizer (K): K1 = 1 ton/ha; K2 = 3 tons/ha ; K3 = 5 tons/ha. Observational variables in this study included: plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), weight of cobs per plant (g) and weight of cobs per plot (kg). The results showed that the tabulation of the combination of Bonanza variety and the dose of organic fertilizer vermicompost 5 tons/ha gave the highest growth and production of sweet corn plants with a production of 2.43 kg/plot (3,24 ton/ha).

Abstract

Agroforestry is an alternative form of land use consisting of a mixture of trees with seasonal crops and or livestock in one plot of land. A House yard is one example of an agroforestry system. Yards with agroforestry systems provide significant benefits that are important for the community both from the ecological and environmental, economic, and socio-cultural aspects. The purpose of this devotion is to provide knowledge to Creative KWT members to optimize home gardens with agroforestry systems (combining agricultural crops with crops forestry (timber or fruit). This devotion activity was carried out in collaboration with KKN students group 4 batch 57 Muhammadiyah University Palembang on the 9th of February 2022. The location of this Community Service Activity is the Women Farmers Group (KWT) Creative Tanjung Raman Village, South Prabumulih District, Prabumulih City, Sumatra Province South. The method used in implementing the activity is conducting counseling, distributing seeds fruits, and planting and caring for fruit seedlings at KWT Kreatif. The results of this devotion can help women farmer groups to optimize the yard of the house with an agroforestry system to make it more useful for environmental ecology and the community economy. So that it can help in household economic income while at the same time protecting and preserving the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the best variety and dosage of mycorrhizal fertilizer to the yield of sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.).  This research was conducted on farmer’s land in Dusun Beringin Makmur I, Kecamatan Rawas Ilir, South Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra, from October to December 2020. This study used an experimental method with a split plot design consisting of 9 treatment combinations and 3 replications.  The first factor (Main-plot) of variety (V), namely V1 = Talenta; V2 = Bonaza; V3 = Master Sweet, while the second factor (Sub-plot) is mycorrhiza fertilizer (M), namely M0 = without mycorrhiza fertilizer; M1 = 30 g per plant; M2 = 40 g per plant.  Observational in this study included the cob of lenght (cm), cob of diameters (cm), cob of weight per plant (g) and cob of weight per plot (kg).  The results showed that Bonanza variety gave the best yield on sweet corn, 40 g mycorrhizal fertilizer per plant gave the best yield on sweet corn and tabulated combination of variety and mycorhiza fertilizer 40 g per plant gave the highest yield of sweet corn at 4.22 kg per plot equivalent to 16.88 ton ha-1.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the growth and production of cucumber suri (Cucumis Mel L. Bar Reticulatus Naudin) are affected by the type of compost and the amount of liquid organic fertilizer applied. This research was conducted at AKN Sakojo No. 21 Kedondong Raye Village, Banyuasin III District, Pangkalan Balai, South Sumatra from July to September 2022. This study used a split plot randomized design consisting of nine treatment combinations and repeated three times. The first factor (Main Plot) was the variation of the type of compost, with K1 being chicken manure compost (3 kg per plot), K2 being rice straw compost (3 kg per plot), and K3 being cow manure compost (3 kg per plot). ). The second factor (subplot) was the dose of liquid organic fertilizer, with P1 being 6 cc/liter and P2 being 4 cc/liter. and 2 cc/liter is P3. The variables observed were stem length (cm), number of branches (branches), number of fruits planted (fruit), weight of fruit planted (g), weight of fruit per plot (kg). The results showed that the use of fertilizer types greatly affects the length of the plant and the number of planting branches. However, the dose of liquid organic fertilizer had a significant effect on all observed variables. The results of the analysis show that the two factors affect the variable number of planting branches through interaction. Rice straw fertilizer type treatment gave the best results on plant length and number of branches. For growth and production of cucumber suri, treatment with liquid organic fertilizer at a dose of 6 cc/l of water gives the best results. . Interaction treatment between the type of rice straw compost with a dose of liquid organic fertilizer 6 cc/l of water obtained the best results on the number of branches per plant. Abstract

Organic waste is waste that contains elements of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen and is easily degraded by microorganisms. The existence of abundant fruit and vegetable waste is rarely used by the community, even though this organic waste can still be reused as material for making eco-enzymes. Eco-enzyme is a liquid extract produced from the fermentation of leftover vegetables and fruits with brown sugar or molasses as a substrate. The process for making eco-enzymes is in principle similar to how compost is made, but water is added as a growth medium so that the final product is a liquid that is easy to use and has many benefits. This activity aims to provide knowledge and skills to the community about reusing household organic waste by processing it into eco-enzymes. The location of the community service was carried out in one of the houses of the residents of RT.071 RW.016, 16 Ulu Village, Seberang Ulu II District, Palembang City, on September 4 2021. The method used was counseling and training for the community about processing organic waste into eco-enzymes. This activity was attended by 15 participants who actively conducted discussions. The results of this community service show that the method of service in the form of counseling, training and question and answer is very appropriate in providing motivation to the community in processing household organic waste into eco-enzymes.
