Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to know the implementation of the scientific approach in improving students learning activities, and students' perceptions of the application of the scientific approach in learning process. This research was conducted at Junior high school 8 pekanbaru on March - December 2019 with research respondents of all of students from VIII2, VIII6, VIII10, and 3 teachers. The data collected through observation, and questionnaire. Observations were made to collect data on activities undertaken by teachers and learning activities undertaken by students, distribution of questionnaires to students to collect data on students' perceptions about the application of scientific approaches in social studies learning Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that 1) The application of the scientific approach to social studies subjects has been well implemented. 2) students' perceptions of the application of the scientific approach to social studies subjects is included good categories. Thus the use of the scientific approach by teachers, especially in social studies subject in addition to increase student learning activities are also appropriate with the expectations and desires of students.Key Words: Implementation of Scientific Approaches, Students’ Learning Activities, Students’ Perceptions.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan menulis teks laporan observasi melalui model pembelajaran Examples Non Examples pada siswa kelas IXI SMP Negeri Karangpanggung Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dari pratindakan sampai dengan Siklus II. Pengumpulan data dengan teknik tes dan non-tes (hasil observasi). Pada hasil pratindakan diketahui hasil rata-rata nilai adalah 68,47 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 60,87%. Pada kegiatan siklus I diketahui rata-rata nilai adalah 73,69 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 69,56%. Pada siklus II diketahui rata-rata nilai adalah 76,52 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 86,95%. Berdasarkan hasil rata-rata dikatahui peningkatan dari pratindakan ke siklus I adalah 5,22 sedangkan peningkatan ketuntasan klasikal dari pratindakan ke siklus I adalah 8,69%. Pada Siklus I ke siklus II diketahui peningkatan rata-rata nilai adalah 2,83 sedangkan ketuntasan mengalami peningkatan 17,39%. Selanjutnya peningkatan rata-rata nilai pratindakan ke siklus II adalah 8,05 dengan ketuntasan klasikal dari pratindakan ke siklus II adalah 26,08%. Berdasarkan hasil PTK dapat disimpulkan jika melalui model Examples Non Examples dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks laporan observasi pada siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri Karangpanggung.

Abstract

Untuk memahami fase-fase kesalahan yang sering terjadi pada siswa kelas IV yang mengerjakan soal naratif pada materi menghitung keliling dan luas persegi dan persegi panjang di SDN Langgomea, dilakukan penelitian kualitatif. Tes dan wawancara digunakan sebagai strategi pengumpulan data. Metode analisis data yang digunakan meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan masing-masing indikator, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesalahan siswa pada setiap tahapan prosedur Newman, meliputi tahapan membaca soal, memahami soal, transformasi masalah, keterampilan proses, dan menulis jawaban akhir, masih cukup sering terjadi ketika mengerjakan soal tentang keliling dan luas persegi dan persegi panjang

Abstract

Dengue fever is a disease that kills a lot of people and attacks the community, so it's important to pay attention to this intense outbreak. Different endeavors have been made to defeat this episode, yet there are as many individuals who don't know about the dangers. Aromatherapy candles are one option for repelling mosquitoes. Aromatherapy candles can be made from the abundant lemongrass that grows in the yard. Aromatherapy candles with lemongrass in them repel mosquitoes and can help alleviate stress. This act of community service involves teaching members of the community, particularly cadres in Puasana village, about the dangers of dengue fever and how to get it. In addition to counseling, instructions were given on how to make aromatherapy candles. In this way, people will learn more about the dangers of dengue fever and how living plants can be turned into valuable objects

Abstract

This study aims to describe the fulfillment of the rights to education for children with special needs (ABK) at the SD Negeri 30 Palembang. Type of qualitative descriptive research. Data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews and observation methods. The research subjects were teachers and principals. The research results show that the school has been able to implement the inclusive school concept quite well. In general, the rights to education for ABK have been fulfilled amidst facilities and infrastructure that are not yet inclusive. This study provides a real picture of how inclusive education is implemented in elementary schools in Indonesia, especially in Palembang City. This case study can be used as an example for other schools trying to fulfill ABK's educational rights. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the development of inclusive education policies at the local and national level. Apart from that, this research can also provide input for teachers, schools and other stakeholders in improving the quality of education for ABK.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine (1) the mechanism for recruiting prospective school principals (2) the process of appointing school principals, and (3) efforts to overcome factors inhibiting the implementation of Dikbud Ristek Number 40 of 2021. This study was descriptive qualitative. Research location was Palembang City Education Office and SD Negeri 226 Palembang. Research subjects were Head of GTK Division and Principal. Instrument was the researcher himself. Data collection was observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of data through triangulation of sources and data collection techniques, results, and conclusions. From the results of the study, it was concluded that the requirements and process for appointing school principals in Palembang City are in accordance with the mandate of Minister of Education and Culture, Research and Technology Regulation (Permendikbudristekdikti) Number 40 of 2021 concerning the Assignment of Teachers as Principals. Efforts to overcome the inhibiting factors inhibiting the implementation of Permendikbudristekdikti Number 40 of 2021 are to always communicate with the central government in the stages of appointing school principals through the Principal Supervisor School (KSPS) application.
