Abstract

Serum lipemik disebabkan partikel lipoprotein seperti cylomicrons, VLDL (Verry Low Density Lipoprotein) maupun trigliserida. Secara visual, kekeruhan pada serum lipemik akan terlihat jelas dengan kadar trigliserida di atas 300 mg/dl. Keadaan ini menyebabkan gangguan kromoforik dalam analisis fotometri, gangguan pada panjang gelombang dan hamburan cahaya yang disebabkan oleh adanya partikel lipid. Gangguan ini dapat diatasi dengan  flokulasi menggunakan gamma-siklodekstrin dengan inkubasi suhu 23oC agar hasil pemeriksaan menjadi akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan dan selisih rata-rata  kadar albumin dalam serum lipemik dengan dan tanpa penambahan gamma-siklodekstrin inkubasi suhu 23oC. Penelitian pre eksperimen ini menggunakan design penelitian Static Group Comparison. Sampel penelitian adalah semua serum lipemik sebanyak 20 sampel. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan rerata kadar albumin pada serum lipemik tanpa penambahan flokulan Gamma-siklodekstrin inkubasi suhu 23oC adalah 3,77 g/dl, rerata kadar albumin serum lipemik dengan penambahan flokulan Gamma-siklodekstrin inkubasi suhu 23oC adalah 5,20 g/dl.  Perbedaan hasil pemeriksaan kadar albumin dengan dan tanpa penambahan flokulan Gamma-siklodekstrin inkubasi suhu 23oC adalah 1,44 mg/dl (43 %).

Abstract

AbstrakPenggunaan parasetamol dengan dosis toksik akan menyebabkan kerusakan pada ginjal. Salah satu indikator terjadinya kerusakan ginjal adalah peningkatan kadar ureum. Tanaman yang digunakan sebagai obat tradisional adalah kunyit karena mengandung kurkumin yang bisa mencegah terjadinya kerusakan ginjal.Untuk mengetahui efek renoprotektif pemberian perasan rimpang kunyit (Curcumma domestica) terhadap kadar ureum pada serum  tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) yang diinduksi parasetamol. Penelitian ini merupakan pre-post test control group design dengan menggunakan tikus putih sebagai hewan uji, parasetamol 240 mg/200 g BB digunakan sebagai bahan induksi, dan perasan kunyit dosis 1 ml, 2 ml, dan 3 ml. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan statistik menggunakan uji Anova One Way dan uji Correlation pada SPSS 16.0 for Windows.Rata-rata peningkatan kadar ureum tikus putih yang diinduksi parasetamol dan pada tikus putih yang diberi perasan kunyit dosis 1, 2, dan 3 ml adalah 48,38 mg/dl, 38,98mg/dl, 25,56 mg/dl. Hasil uji Anova One Way menunjukkan signifikan 0.000 yang berarti ada pengaruh pemberian perasan kunyit terhadap kadar ureum tikus putih yang diinduksi parasetamol. Dari hasil uji Correlation terdapat hubungan yang sangat kuat antara perasan kunyit terhadap kadar ureum tikus putih yang diinduksi parasetamol.Terdapat pengaruh pemberian perasan rimpang kunyit (Curcumma domestica) terhadap kadar ureum pada serum tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus) yang diinduksi Parasetamol.Kata Kunci: Kadar ureum , Parasetamol, Perasan Kunyit, Tikus putih..

Abstract

Cardiovascular disease is a disease that causes the most deaths in the world. One of its main risk factor is triglyceride levels which make the emergence of plaque in coronary artery. Statin as an option drug in reducing triglyceride levels apparently reported to cause myopathy and kidney failure when used in a long term. Natural product like red dragon fruit began to be developed as a safer alternative. The content of various substances such as niacin, vitamin C and fiber in it useful as antihypertriglyceridemia. This study aims to determine the effect of red dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) juice to the decrease of triglyceride levels in hyperlipidemic white rats (Rattus norvegicus). This study was an experimental study with pre and post test with control group design. The subjects were 24 male experimental animals (Rattus norvegicus) were divided into 4 groups: one positive control group given simvastatin 0.18 mg/ 200 gram of weight and three groups treated with red dragon fruit juice doses of 3.6; 5.4 and 7.2 gram/ 200 gram of weight. Then, data were analyzed escriptively with One-Way ANOVA test using SPSS 16.0 for Windows. Results with descriptive analysis obtained that mean of positive control’s pre-test triglyceride level was 104.80 mg/ dl and treatment groups I, II and III respectively 108.15 mg/ dl, 106.47 mg/ dl and 107.43 mg/ dl whereas positive control’s post-test triglyceride level was 51.09 mg/ dl and for the treatment groups were 94.64 mg /dl, 71.01 mg/ dl and 58.75 mg/ dl. One Way ANOVA test obtained p <0.05 which indicated the difference between the treatment of various doses of red dragon fruit juice to white rats’ triglyceride levels. Based on that, means there is the effect of various doses of red dragon fruit (Hylocereus polyrhizus) juice to the decrease of triglyceride levels in hyperlipidemic white rats (Rattus norvegicus).

Abstract

Pemeriksaan laboratorium sangat diperlukan untuk membantu menegakkan diagnosa suatu penyakit dan memperoleh hasil pemeriksaan yang akurat. Pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol dapat membantu perubahan pola dan gaya hidup sehat, untuk menghindari makanan yang mengandung kolesterol tinggi berisiko meningkatkan kadar kolesterol darah. Pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol biasanya menggunakan sampel serum dan sampel plasma. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol dan gambaran perbedaan hasil kadar kolesterol total metode CHOD-PAP dari sampel serum dan plasma EDTA. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah uji deskriptif disajikan dalam bentuk tabel untuk mengetahui selisih rata-rata kadar kolesterol total sampel serum dan plasma EDTA dan grafik untuk mengetahui yang lebih tinggi. Hasil uji deskriptif didapatkan kadar kolesterol total dengan rata – rata sampel serum 157,76 mg/dl, sedangkan pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol dengan rata – rata sampel plasma EDTA 153,71 mg/dl. Berdasarkan data penelitian analisa uji deskriptif dinyatakan perbedaan hasil pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol total antara sampel serum dan plasma EDTA yaitu 9,7 %.

Abstract

A bad sample gives an invalid laboratory test result. There are several reasons that can cause a sample to be unfit for examination. The serum that most often causes errors are hemolysis, jaundice and lipemia. Icteric serum is serum that is yellow brown due to hyperbilirubinemia (increased levels of bilirubin in the blood). Icteric serum may cause interference with laboratory tests. Icteric serum can affect measurements at a wavelength of 400-500 nm. Examination by the method of oxidase or peroxidase reactions, such as glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides and uric acid can be disrupted. Potassium Ferricyanide is added to oxidize bilirubin to biliverdin before testing, and can reduce absorption disorders. Potassium ferric cyanide can reduce total bilirubin levels (p=0.000) in icteric serum. There were differences in the results of total cholesterol (p=0.000), triglycerides (p=0.019), glucose (p=0.001), total protein (p=0.011), albumin (p=0.004), globulin (p=0.002), creatinine ( p=0.011), urea (p=0.014), SGOT (p=0.007), SGPT (p=0.030) and alkaline phosphatase (p=0.002) in icteric serum added and not added potassium ferric cyanide.
