Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi kebijakan manajemen berbasis sekolah (MBS), faktor pendukung dan penghambatnya serta mengetahui model MBS yang efektif di SMK Negeri 4 Kendal.Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan fokus SMK Negeri 4 Kendal sebagai informan adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, komite sekolah dan guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model interaktif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan MPMBS diawali dengan proses interpretasi dan sosialisasi kebijakan kepada seluruh stakeholders pendidikan. Kebijakan MPMBS di SMK Negeri 4 Kendal tercapai sesuai tujuan kebijakan MPMBS yaitu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan melakukan perubahan terhadap manajemen pendidikan dari pola lama ke pola MPMBS. Faktor pendukung efektifitas implementasi MPMBS meliputi telah dilaksanakan dengan sungguh-sungguh otonomi yang dimiliki sekolah, peran serta masyarakat, kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang demokratis transparan dan akuntabel, lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif serta dukungan anggaran dari pemerintah. Faktor penghambat meliputi masih rendahnya mutu guru sesuai standar pelayanan minimal pendidikan, keterbatasan sumber belajar dan media belajar serta hambatan birokrasi dalam pengelolaan keuangan sekolah.Saran yang diajukan: meningkatkan kualifikasi akademik guru yang belum sesuai dengan tuntutan program, serta Model MPMBS yang efektif adalah model manajemen yang demokratis, transparansi, dan komunikasi secara terbuka. The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of school-based management policy (MBS), supporting factor and inhibiting of SBM policy and to know the effective MBS model at SMK N 4 Kendal. The approach used in this research is qualitative approach with focus SMK Negeri 4 Kendal as an informant is principal, vice principal, school committee and teacher. Data collection is done through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed by using interactive model.The results showed that MPMBS ( Improvement quality based of management school ) policy begins interpretation process and socialization of policy to all education stakeholders. MPMBS policy implementation in SMK Negeri 4 Kendal achieved in accordance with the objectives of MPMBS policy that is to improve the quality of education by making changes to the management of education from the old pattern to the MPMBS pattern. Factors supporting the effectiveness of MPMBS implementation include having been implemented with genuine autonomy owned by schools, community participation, transparent and accountable headmaster leadership, a conducive school environment and budget support from the government. Inhibiting factors include the low quality of teachers according to minimum service standards of education, limited learning resources and learning media and bureaucratic obstacles in school financial management.Suggested suggestions: improve teacher academic qualifications that are not in line with program demands, effective MPMBS model is a democratic management model, transparency, and open communication.

Abstract

Integrated guidance model between IQ, EQ and SQ are essential to produce the quality of next generation. Here, the author examines the Seminary of St. Vincent High School Blitar that has specificity in terms of an integrated development model of IQ, EQ and SQ. This study aims to gain a real picture of the integrated high school guidance model is based on stages of planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Techniques used to conduct the data such as interviews, observation and documentation. Analysis and data management is done by: data reduction, data presentation and verification of data. To ensure validation of the data it uses triangulation, namely: triangulation of data sources. The results of this study addressed that: 1) Development planning has been carried out based assessment company needed guidance. 2) The organization has done well through the establishment of organizational structure and establishment of authority and responsibility. 3) The implementation has been done procedurally by stipulation curriculum and budget amounts 4) evaluation has been carried out with good effective evaluation of the level of reaction, the rate of learning, behavioral level, and the level of impact.

Abstract

The existence and success of an organization in achieving its goals, can not be separated from the human resources factor. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Principal of the Private Vocational Teachers performance with motivation as variable Moderation. This type of research that is explanatory research, data collection techniques were questionnaires and interviews. The sample in this study amounted to 250 respondents technique is proportional random sampling, measurement scale using a Likert scale. Quantitative analysis using validity, reliability test, the coefficient of correlation, simple and multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, significance test (t test and f) and path analysis (path analysis). Based on the research results show that emotional intelligence (X1) and leadership (X2) either simultaneously or partially affect the work motivation (Y1) and the performance of teachers (Y2). Based on the results of the path analysis, the direct effect of emotional intelligence and leadership on teacher performance is greater than the indirect effect through work motivation. Based on these results, it is recommended that schools can improve the performance of teachers including the improvement of work motivation of teachers and the provision of rewards to teachers in the form of flattery directly from employers so that employees are proud of the work that has been done so as to encourage the teachers to work more optimally and improve communication between teachers and leaders.

Abstract

Reflective learning which is applied in SMP Kolese Kanisius Jakarta becomes the uniqueness which is integrated into the school curriculum. The objective of this study is to discover the meaning of reflection learning toward students’ attitude through the structured interview within 3 groups of subject namely students, teachers and parents. The researcher found how the reflective learning has an impact to the development of students’ attitude. As a result, reflective learning has good impact on the development of students’ attitude, independence, and responsibilities which can be seen from the students’ and parents’ point of view. The teachers also get good input to increase how the teachers facilitate the students appropriately. Suitable companion from teachers and parental support are the key to success reflective learning in this school.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to describe the management of character values ​​through the flagship program of religious-based schools in the city of Semarang. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used is purposive sampling. The subjects of this study were the principals and teachers of SD QU Hanifah Semarang. Data collection techniques used in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data validity technique uses source triangulation and theoretical triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the management of character values ​cultivation through the flagship program of religion-based schools in the city of Semarang is running well, it can be seen from the types of program activities that have been carried out not out of the school's vision, mission and goals. The types of activity programs that have been determined are the flagship program of Tahfidz and the flagship program of Parenting Day. In the program component, there is the role of principals and teachers as implementers of program development activities to instill character values ​​in students in everyday life. The implication of this research is to provide an overview of the role of principals, teachers, and parents of students at school and at home in instilling good character values ​​to students in the process of implementing the superior program that has been determined.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe how management of Qur'an-based curriculum consisting of planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating at SD Qur'an Hanifah Semarang. The research design used is a qualitative case study with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data used are primary and secondary data. Validity test of the data using source triangulation and data analysis using a flow model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The research subjects are the principal, vice principal of the curriculum section, educators and education staff. The results of this study indicate that SD Qur'an Hanifah has implemented a Qur'an-based curriculum management process through four stages, namely planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. Curriculum management planning at SD Qur'an Hanifah is carried out through an annual initial meeting involving various stakeholders through school-level and grade-level planning. The implementation and organization of the curriculum is carried out by the principal and the curriculum staff through the division of tasks, workloads and observations of the ongoing learning process based on the Qur'an-based curriculum. The evaluation which is the final stage is carried out by the principal using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) model. Overall, SD Qur'an Hanifah has carried out the stages of curriculum management well, although there are still some shortcomings and obstacles.
