Abstract

This research aims at determining the quality of academic services at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Madako University. This research uses the theory of service quality proposed by Zenthaml Parasuraman. Type of research is qualitative. The informants of this research consist leccturers, teaching staff, students and alumni who are determined purposively, with data collection methods consisted of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data verification and drawing conclusions. Research results indicate that the quality of academic services in the context of teaching and learning process in Faculty of Social and Political Sciences of Madako University is not qualified yet. This is evidenced by five dimensions used as a benchmark; barely four dimensions go well namely the dimensions of Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy. While the dimension of tangible is inadequate therefore the academic services are not running properly. This is due to the unavailability of sufficient facilities that can support the lecturing process, such as unavailability of representative study room, unavailability of lecture rooms, unavailability of parking space, unavailability of worship facilities and library facilities that are not functioning.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the sustainable tourism of local wisdom based tourism development in Lalos Village. The results of the research, integrating local wisdom into tourism development through the active role of the community is the best scenario for realizing sustainable tourism, therefore existing local wisdom must be managed in such a way by local governments, village governments, business actors and local communities so that this potential can become a tourist attraction that can attracting tourists to visit the village, through these visits will have a positive impact on the economy of the local community as well as a form of implementing the concept of community based tourism which will ultimately lead to the preservation local wisdom in accordance with the principles of sustainable tourism development.

Abstract

Online news grows up to be influential day by day, especially after the world facing a great disaster of COVID-19 Pandemic. When the Pandemic is over, 2022 is marked to be the meaningful year where people is finally released from pandemic fear and is able to go on meaningful holiday with their friends and family. With the successful Eid Holiday movie hit, Christmas is noted to be one of Indonesia’s important moment to celebrate the freedom from COVID-19 since it also happens in 2022. Online news once again becomes a media that is able to influent people and showing its dynamic in policy throughout their Christmas celebration news. Van Dijk’s analysis method is the fitting method to elaborate the policy dynamics in news media during Christmas 2022 Holiday.

Abstract

This research is motivated by low job satisfaction. This study aims to determine and analyze whether transformational leadership and organizational culture can increase job satisfaction. The research method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 100 employees using random sampling techniques. Data collection uses a questionnaire distributed to employees. The instruments used have been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data was analyzed using the classic assumption test and multiple linear regression using Excel and SPSS. The results of this study indicate that 1) Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, 2) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, and 3) Transformational leadership and organizational culture have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. The findings of this study indicate that if companies want to increase job satisfaction, companies must improve transformational leadership and organizational culture.

Abstract

Researchers believe that one round of ELECTION can increase the effectiveness of the APBN, time efficiency, and widen the gap between the elected Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the Urgency of the Satu Putranan Election in 3 E (Budget Effectiveness, Time Efficiency, and Work Program Execution) (Manzilati, 2017) . This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, namely the urgency of the One Putranan Election Urgency in 3 E (Budget Effectiveness, Time Efficiency, and Work Program Execution). The data in this research was obtained from credible websites, books, journals and a number of other reliable sources. This data can also be called secondary data. The data in this research was analyzed using the stages of data collection, data selection, data reduction, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that first, implementing one round of ELECTIONS can save 14.4 trillion which is more effective if it is allocated to the education, religion, sports, economy and other sectors in need. Second, Carrying out one round of ELECTIONS can save time for approximately two months. The elected Presidential Candidates and Vice Presidential Candidates can maximize the use of this time to finalize their work programs and resolve a number of outstanding issues. Third, One round of ELECTIONS can be carried out directly without the 50% requirement by changing the ELECTION law.

Abstract

This research began with the statement of Vice Presidential Candidate number one during the first Vice Presidential Candidate debate. This research aims to analyze the possibilities of development plans for 40 cities whether they are realistically implemented or not. If it is realistic then it can be categorized as a plan and if it is not realistic the tomb can be categorized as mere discourse. This research is qualitative research with an explanatory approach. The data used in this research is secondary data that researchers obtained from trusted websites, scientific journals, books and other reliable sources. The analysis technique in this research uses descriptive analysis techniques by describing whether the development policies of 40 cities equivalent to Jakarta are realistic or no. These data were analyzed using the stages of data collection, data reduction, data reflection, data analysis, and drawing conclusions (Abdurahman, 2016). This researcher analyzed the development intentions of 40 cities equivalent to Ajarta from two aspects, namely HDI and GRDP.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat terutama perempuan terkait pentingnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam pembangunan di desa, memberikan pemahaman pada masyarakat khususnya perempuan tentang peran serta mereka pada berbagai aspek kemasyarakatan terutam pada bidang pembangungan. Ketidaksetaraan gender dalam pembangunan desa karena stigma dalam masyarakat bahwa laki-laki memiliki kualitas kerja, dan kualitas pendidikan lebih baik dibanding perempuan. Masalah yang paling sering ditemkan dalam masyarakat desa ialah kurangnya partisipasi perempuan dalam pembangunan, termasuk pada desa mitra. Masyarakat belum memahami dan belum mengetahui bahwa mereka menajadi salah satu indikator penting dalam pembangunan. Dalam kegaitan pengabdian ini dilakukan sosialisasi tentang masalah tersebut. Memberikan contoh-contoh penting pembangunan desa dan peran serta masyarakatnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini yaitu dengan pendekatan kolaboratif antara mitra dan pelaksana pengabdian. Dalam pelaksana kegiatan ini disambut baik oleh kepada desa dadakitan. Kepala desa dadakitan berharap kegiatan ini dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan pengabdian lain mengingat antusiasme masyarakat desa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pengabdian ini.Kata kunci : Partisipasi, perempuan, pembangunan

Abstract

Peningkatan pemahaman tentang partisipasi keluarga penerima harapan merupakan upaya untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat agar Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) digunakan sesuai dengan peruntukannya yaitu sebagai upaya pemberdayaan  masyarakat kurang mampu. Program Keluarga Harapan merupakan salah satu Langkah pemerintah untuk membantu masyarakat kurang mampu yang di peruntukan untuk penggunaan dana Pendidikan, untuk menunjang Kesehatan ibu hamil, menyusui dan balita serta lansia dan disabilitas berat sehingga oleh karena itu pengabdian yang dilakukan sebagai bagian dari Tri darma Perguruan Tinggi dilakukan di Dusun Salu, Keluarahan Nalu, Kecamatan Baolan, Kabupaten Tolitotli  yang merupakan salah dusun dengan sasaran penerima bantuan PKH. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada hari Rabu 15 November 2023. Pengabdian dengan sasaran peningkatan pemahaman ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pemanfaatan PKH oleh masyarakat khususnya dalam program pemberdayaan masyarakat di Dusun Salu agar tercipta masyarakat yang sejahtera. Kata kunci : PKH,  partisipasi, Pemberdayaan

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas upaya pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan gizi ibu dan anak dengan memanfaatkan bantuan sosial di Kecamatan Baolan, Kabupaten Tolitoli, Sulawesi Tengah. Dengan prevalensi stunting yang signifikan dan tingkat kemiskinan yang tinggi, kegiatan ini mengusulkan pendekatan holistik melalui program Pertemuan Peningkatan Kemampuan Keluarga (P2K2) Program Keluarga Harapan. Melalui metode pendekatan berbasis edukasi dan intervensi komunitas, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya gizi yang baik. Tim pengabdian, terdiri dari enam dosen dan empat pendamping sosial, melibatkan kelompok penerima manfaat PKH di tiga wilayah Kecamatan Baolan. Kegiatan pengabdian meliputi penyuluhan tentang bantuan sosial, gizi sehat, dan teknik pengolahan pangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara, dengan analisis data yang mengacu pada pedoman literatur terkait. Hasilnya menunjukkan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan partisipasi masyarakat. Sebagai rekomendasi, kegiatan serupa dapat diperluas dengan melibatkan lebih banyak pihak terkait untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dalam peningkatan gizi masyarakat. Diharapkan, upaya ini akan mendorong terwujudnya masyarakat yang lebih sehat, tangguh, dan berkualitas di masa depan.

Abstract

The 2023 recession is currently a hot topic of discussion, especially in economic discussion forums. The 2023 recession requires efforts to prevent and reduce risks so that the impact is not too pronounced, especially for Generation Z from middle to lower economic families who are certainly very affected. This study aims to test and analyze the improvement of investment decisions through financial literacy in generation z as an effort to prepare for the 2023 recession. This research is a quantitative study by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The sample of this research is 100 generation Z whose sampling is done randomly. The questionnaire used has been tested for validity and reliability. The investment decision variable is measured by indicators of the level of expected return, the level of risk and the relationship between return and risk. While the financial literacy variable is measured by indicators of basic knowledge of financial management, credit management, savings and investment management. The data collected were analyzed by simple linear regression using SPSS version 23. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant impact on the investment decisions of generation z, especially as an effort to prepare for the 2023 recession. These findings explain that if generation z wants to improve decisions In investing, Generation Z must also improve their financial literacy.
