Abstract

Indonesia dan federasi Jerman memiliki perjanjian berupa program Innovation and Investment for Inclusive Sustainable Economic Development (ISED) program ini dilaksanakan oleh Bappenas dan Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH dengan pelaksana kegiatan PT. Entec Indonesia. Tujuan program untuk mempromosikan dan memastikan lapangan kerja hijau di sektor energi, Pelatihan ini sudah direformasi secara inovatif, untuk memfasilitasi peningkatan kerangka kelembagaan dan peraturan jangka panjang. Metode pelatihan digunakan kombinasi pelatihan mulai dari pre test, introduksi, siklus hidrologi, bangunan air, studi lapangan, sistem mekanikal, elektrikal, biaya, penjadwalan, penyusunan dokumen laporan perencanaan PLTMH, simulasi unit turbin simulator, studi lapangan pembangkit Gunung Halu dan post test. Hasil dan pembahasan kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19-23 Desember 2022 di Hycom BBPPMPV BMTI, Cimahi, Jawa Barat, peserta memiliki latar belakang majemuk diberikan pelatihan perencanaan PLTMH peserta diberikan materi, simulasi dan praktik menyusun perencanaan PLTMH. Kegiatan yang terselenggara terbukti dapat memberikan pengalaman bagi peserta merencanakan dan menyusun dokumen perencanaan.

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of variations in the seam angle of welded joints and welding parameters on the tensile strength and hardness testing of ST 37 carbon steel. The SMAW welding process is one of the metal connection techniques used in industry. The method of welding joints is carried out with variations in the seam angle of the welded joints 600 and 700, while variations in the current strength of the welded joints are 90A, 100A, and 110A. The experimental method used in this research is the steel base metal material ST 37, which has a thickness of 8 mm. The tensile strength test results have the highest value at the seam angle of 700 with a current strength of 110 A, namely 482.54 N/mm2. The lowest tensile strength test results were obtained with a tensile strength of 399.54 N/mm2 at a welded angle of 700 and a current strength of 90 A. The test specimen with a variation of the existing power of 110 A and a weld seam angle of 700 has the highest value in the hardness test with a 234 HV hardness.

Abstract

Isu transisi energi menarik perhatian masyarakat global dengan upaya untuk konservasi energi di masa depan dan menjaga keberlangsungan ekosistem makhluk hidup. Transisi energi adalah proses konversi sumber energi berbasis fosil menjadi penggunaan energi bersih dan ramah lingkungan seperti panel surya, air, panas bumi, dan angin. Upaya Indonesia dalam upaya menjalankan transisi energi bersih, Solusi pemanfaatan dengan penerapan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro pada Turbin vorteks menjadi energi listrik dengan unit generator. Turbin vorteks memiliki kebutuhan head rendah. Konstruksi fisik turbin vorteks sudah tersedia di laboratorium, selanjutnya di susun perencanaan transmisi, roda gigi dan generator. Tujuan kegiatan ini menyusun perencanaan transmisi mekanik pada turbin vortex berupa roda gigi dan generator. Metodologi menggunakan pendekatan rancangan teknis baik mengacu standard perencanaan komponen elemen mesin maupun literasi jurnal yang telah dilakukan beberapa peneliti, hal tersebut diterapkan pada rancangan desain transmisi roda gigi dan generator. Hasil rancangan diperoleh daya rencana pembangkit sebesar 1500watt dengan putaran 250rpm, dari daya dan putaran tersebut, direncanakan transmisi roda gigi dan generator dengan hasil sebagai berikut: transmisi yang digunakan antara lain poros dimensi ⌀52 mm x 100 mm, kopling cakar tipe SX095. Roda gigi payung BG 134 S R2 Scheme 30 dengan rasio putaran 1:2. Puli yang terhubung dengan roda gigi dengan kode A127 dan puli yang tehubung dengan generator dengan kode A63,5. Puli di sambung dengan sabuk tipe V kode A44.

Abstract

Control Systems have taken essential parts widely from industrial world to military equipment. Control systems in the industrial world determine the quality, speed, cost and efficiency of the manufacturing process known as the Process Control System (PCS). The core of the Control System is conditioning (actuators) and reading conditions (sensors). By synergizing those parts with the coordination of the controller, the process value (PV) can be obtained according to the condition of the set point (SP). To get the proper control characteristics, i.e. the fastest possible response, the lowest possible oscillation and offset (error steady state/ESS), an understanding of the concept of a closed loop control system with a continuous scheme is developed. In this regard, the Automatic Control Laboratory under the Pneumatic and Hydraulic Laboratory at the Department of Mechanical Engineering - POLBAN considered to provide students with an introduction to Automatic Instrumentation and Control. The briefing covered the introduction, mechanism and operation of Automatic Instrumentation and Control systems. Therefore, tools were required as a medium for achieving the above competencies, one of which was the modernization of pressure regulators in order to strengthen the Laboratory. Through this research, a rejuvenation and modernization of the control system were carried out by applying a proportional, integral and differential (PID) control system. It was based on a programmable logic controller (PLC) equipped with a human machine interface (HMI) to make it easier to enter set points and PID parameters, to be practical in operation and effective in monitoring and data acquisition. The result of the pressure regulator modernization had the ability to include servo control process (getting a certain value) and regulatory control process (maintaining a certain value) with a continuous closed loop scheme. The modernized pressure control system could be utilized as a prototype demonstration of the system in an actual environment to study and observe the Proportional, Integral and Differential (PID) control system along with the process of determining the parameters Kp, Ti and Td as Practicum equipment.
