Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of the mastery of vocabulary, syntax, and reading interest towards the comprehension of English reading texts. This research is an ex-post facto, involving three independent variables and one dependent variable. The mastery of vocabulary is the first independent variable (X1), syntax is the second independent variable (X2), and reading interest is the third independent variable (X3). The comprehension of English reading texts is the dependent variable (Y). This research was conducted at State College of Islamic Studies (STAIN) Palangka Raya in academic year 2008/2009. Among 249 students, only 151 were used as sample, selected using the proportional cluster random sampling. The research instruments used tests and questionnaires. The data are analyzed using multiple regression statistics analysis technique and partial correlation.            The result of descriptive analysis indicates that the mastery of vocabulary is in very good category (70.20%), syntax is in good category (57.61%), reading interest is in good category (67.54%), and the comprehension of English reading texts is in good category (52.32%). The result of multiple regression indicates that the mastery of vocabulary, syntax, and reading interest in aggregate influences the comprehension of English reading texts (F = 13.121 sig. ρ < 0.05). As many as 64.1% variance of the comprehension of English reading texts is determined by the mastery of vocabulary, syntax, and reading interest. The result of the partial correlation indicates that the mastery of vocabulary influences the comprehension of English reading texts (r = 0.504 sig. ρ < 0.05) with a contribution as many as 22.6%. Syntax influences the comprehension of English reading texts (r = 0.619 sig. ρ < 0.05) with a contribution as many as 25.6%. Reading interest influences the comprehension of English reading texts (r = 0.242 sig. ρ < 0.05) with a contribution as many as 16.9%.

Abstract

Service quality gives encouragement to consumer to tie a good association with a company. Good service will give an impact to decision of consumer to buy and also to the company itself. A good service quality is very important to create a consumer’s satisfaction, especially in direct proof, capability, attentiveness, and warrant of a consumer’s satisfaction. According to that reasons, so the statement of the problem of this research is the influence of service quality to consumer’s buying decision in Alfamart in Palangka Raya city. This research is using a quantitative approach with survey. A population of this research is consumer of Alfamart in Palangka Raya city. The sample that is taken for this research amounts to 96 respondents which is taken with random sampling. Furthermore, for prequalification test is using normality test with Kolmogorov smirnov and Q-Q plot. Data analysis method is using correlation of product moment and simple regression using SPSS 16. From this study, it is found that the quality of the service and consumer’s buying decision in Alfamart in Palangka Raya city have strong relation according to the result of coefficient of product moment which amounts to 0,810. It is also found the amount of sig that is 0,000 which means there are significant relation. Furthermore, test of simple regression shows the amount of determination of coefficient 0,656 which means the influence of service quality to the consumer’s buying decision is 65,6 %. It is found also the amount of t count which is 13,386 which is bigger than t table, so it can be concluded that service quality has significant influence to consumer’s buying decision.

Abstract

Aktivitas eksentrik merupakan jenis aktivitas yang difasilitasi oleh penambahan panjang satu atau beberapa otot dan sering meninggalkan efek nyeri bahkan kerusakan sel otot. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemasangan teknik dekompresi neuromuscular taping terhadap kerusakan otot setelah aktivitas gerakan eksentrik. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan post test only with control group design. Empat belas sampel dipilih dari populasi non atlet di SMAN 1 Driyorejo berdasarkan teknik consecutive sampling kemudian dibagi dalam dua kelompok secara random. Intervensi teknik dekompresi neuromuscular taping diberikan pada kelompok perlakuan sebelum melakukan aktivitas gerakan eksentrik. Gerakan fleksi shoulder - ekstensi elbow dengan menahan beban 9% berat badan dalam 20 detik dipilih sebagai protokol dari aktivitas gerakan eksentrik. Pengukuran indikator kerusakan otot menggunakan pemeriksaan serum Ck otot 6 jam setelah istirahat. Hasil uji independent t-test menunjukkan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada variabel kerusakan otot (p > 0.05). Disimpulkan dari penelitian ini bahwa neuromuscular taping teknik dekompresi gagal mencegah kerusakan otot setelah aktivitas gerakan eksentrik.

Abstract

As digital technology based on the Internet of Things (IOT) develops, it should be able to increase banking access (inclusivity) for customers and attract the interest of potential customers. Banking digitalization is currently much more developed than just transaction features but also includes a savings account opening system. Bank Muamalat Indonesia is one of the sharia banks that participates in the development of digital technology by presenting a mobile banking application called MDIN or Muamalat Digital Islamic Network. Digitalization of sharia banking should provide convenience and attract the interest of potential customers, considering that the market share of sharia financial institutions in Indonesia is still low. This research aims to determine customer preferences for opening a savings account via MDIN. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. The objects of research include customer preferences in using MDIN digital banking. The subjects of this research are customers who open savings accounts through MDIN. The research results show that customer preferences in using MDIN as an option for opening a savings account are based on several factors such as social factors, ease of service, benefits and personal factors. Social and personal factors are the most dominant factors in customer’ decision making to open a savings account through MDIN digital banking.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic gave birth to a policy of learning from home or online learning. This policy raises various problems, one of which is saturation in online learning activities. This boredom is also felt by the children of the Bina Sejahter Orphanage because they only focus on studying at home (the orphanage) and they have a lot of free time left. Free time that is owned by the children in the orphanage that can be used for useful things, one of which is making handicrafts. One of the handicrafts that produce economic value, namely handicrafts from wool and polyester yarn. From wool and polyester we can make various kinds of handicrafts such as flowers, flower pots, key chains, souvenirs, brooches, mask hooks, wall hangings, knitting bags, and others. For this reason, the implementers of community service activities of the Syari'ah Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business IAIN Palangka Raya carry out community service by providing Creative Economy Empowerment Assistance for Handicrafts from Wool and Polyester Yarn at the Bina Sejahtera Orphanage, Palangka Raya City. The children and also the caretaker of the orphanage were very enthusiastic about participating in the activities held.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penilitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Coil Racing pada kendaraan standart Jupiter Z 110 cc dan penambahan Coil racing dengan mengunakan variasi celah busi 0.5, 0.7, 0.9. Terhadap performa kendaraan meliputi : 1). Torsi, 2). Daya, 3). Konsumsi bahan bakar. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah : 1). Metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian A,B/C desain untuk mengungkap tentang efektivitas penggunaan Coil Racing terhadap; 2). Performa mesin sepeda motor Jupiter Z 4 tak 110 cc; 3). Uji bahan bakar spesifik; 4). Menggunakan Coil Racing; 5). Celah busi 0.5, 0.7, 0.9. pada penelitian ini menganalisa perbedaan pada kendaraan Jupiter Z 110 cc 4 tak. Hasil penelitian ini adalah; 1). Hasil Torsi mendapatkan hasil paling tinggi pada saat menggunakan variasi celah busi 0.7 dengan hasil 12,1 N.m pada 3000 RPM dan untuk hasil pengujian dengan hasil pengujian paling rendah yaitu 11,5 N.m pada 3000 RPM 2). Hasil Daya mendapatkan hasil paling tinggi pada saat menggunakan variasi celah busi 0.7 dengan hasil 8,7 HP pada 7500 RPM dan untuk hasil pengujian dengan hasil pengujian paling rendah yaitu 8,17 HP pada 7500 RPM, 3). Hasil pengujian Konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik (SFC) paling tinggi didapatkan pada saat menggunakan variasi celah busi 0.7 dengan menggunakan Coil racing mendapatakan hasil 0,156 kg/jam pada motor standart mengalami penurunan menjadi 0,1061 kg/jam. Abstract

Many Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in West Kotawaringin Regency such as crackers and amplang are relatively expensive. Due to the high cost of kerupuk and amplang, these products are only consumed by people with middle to upper income. The product packaging also does not include the expiry date and components of the ingredients used. Based on initial observations of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in West Kotawaringin, some consumers claim to be dissatisfied with Small Micro Enterprises both in terms of service, product design and in terms of marketing. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. This method is used to observe or detect various facts or phenomena and social symptoms that are natural (nature) through field observations. The results of this study indicate that there are two factors that cause product failure in West Kotawaringin MSME businesses, namely internal and external factors.

Abstract

Per capita income is used to describe the economic conditions in an area played by the community. The amount of per capita income in each region is not the same, so there is an Income Gap between Regions and it becomes a problem of economic equality, especially in countries where welfare is still relatively low. People with high income levels can have their basic needs met so that they tend to develop more easily because they have a prosperous life, while people with low-income levels have limitations in realizing a more prosperous life. This study was conducted to determine the causes of income imbalances between regions using data covering 29 districts and 6 cities. The independent variables of this study include Population, Human Development Index, Average Wages and Number of Tourist Villages. The method used to compile the study was carried out using a panel data regression model. The results of the calculation of the selected model are the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine whether the independent variables affect per capita income in Central Java in 2019–2023

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan arsip dan pelatihan literasi teknologi menjadi kebutuhan penting di lingkungan pendidikan, khususnya di pesantren. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa jurusan informatika STMIK El Rahma Yogyakarta ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan e-arsip ARTERI sebagai solusi digital dalam pengelolaan arsip di Pondok Pesantren Miftahunnajah Sleman serta mengintegrasikannya dengan pelatihan software digital seperti Canva, Figma dan Construct. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model iterasi, yang memungkinkan evaluasi dan perbaikan sistem secara bertahap berdasarkan umpan balik pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi e-arsip ARTERI berhasil meningkatkan efisiensi pencarian dokumen dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada dokumen fisik, serta meningkatkan ketepatan dalam manajemen arsip Sementara itu, pelatihan software digital meningkatkan keterampilan teknologi santri, khususnya dalam desain grafis, pembuatan media pelajaran serta pemanfaatan teknologi dalam aktivitas akademik mereka. Kendala yang dihadapi mencakup keterbatasan infrastruktur yang berhasil diatasi dengan strategi peningkatan infrastruktur dan pelatihan berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah optimalisasi lanjutan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi digital untuk mendukung efisiensi administrasi serta peningkatan keterampilan digital di lingkungan pesantren agar lebih siap menghadapi tantangan era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of performance expectations and perceived risk on the behavioral intention to use mobile banking among customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) in Palangka Raya City. The phenomenon of low mobile banking usage amid rapid digital transformation serves as the background for this research. A quantitative approach was used, employing a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 100 active BSI customers who use BSI Mobile services. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The partial test results show that performance expectations have a significant effect on behavioral intention (sig = 0.000 < 0.05), while perceived risk does not have a significant effect (sig = 0.670 > 0.05). However, simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on customers’ behavioral intention (F = 48.485; p < 0.05). The adjusted R² value of 0.490 indicates that 49% of the variation in behavioral intention is explained by these two variables. The findings indicate that performance expectations positively influence the intention to use mobile banking, whereas perceived risk does not have a significant effect.
