Abstract

study analyzes the role of the United Nations made High Commissioner for Refugees in dealing with asylum seekers Afghan in Pekanbaru-Indonesia 2015 with the focus of research that Afghan asylum seekers in immigration detention of Pekanbaru.This research method is library research and interviews. The framework used by the author is Level of Analysis used International Organization ,International Organization Theory and Theory of Roles, human security concept and perspective neoliberalis.From the analysis using the concepts and theories and perspectives, we can conclude that as an international organization under the auspices of the United Nations tasked to deal with the problem of refugees, the UNHCR exercised its powers in dealing with asylum seekers who are in immigration detention Pekanbaru by doing data collection to Rudenim though not scheduled and rated slow. After UNHCR to collect data then after that every Deteni given a registration number to the end of his interview to determine their statusnya.if declared as refugees then these people moved into camps under the supervision of Class I Immigration Office Pekanbaru and that has not been given the status the refugees must remain in Detention Centre of Pekanbaru during the process. UNHCR also helps asylum seekers / Refugees to obtain a durable solution is local integration, pengembalia voluntary and third country resettlement. However, UNHCR has not been able to carry out its role with maximum because hampered by the lack of shelter provided to asylum-finding / pegungsi and lack of operational funds.Keywords: UNHCR, Asylum Seekers. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims determine the effectiviness of expository teaching model through visual media on economic subjects against haail for students at SMA N 1 Sungai Raya. The research methods used in this study was pre –experimnetal design with the design of the study is one group pretest-posttest. The technique used in this study is the technique of measurement and observation. Research subject in this study were student of class XI social sciences 2 totaling 36 people. Analiysis of data obtained by t-test. If the value of t >  t tabel and significance < 0.005 then Ho rejected. Based onthe calculation of the data obtained t count > t table (9,366>2,030) and significant (0,000 > 0,005). So it can be concluded that the effectiveness of expository teching model through visual media provide high impact on improving student learning outcomes.Keywords : Effectiveness, Learning Model of Expository, Visual Media

Abstract

The lack of student interest in reading can lead to a decline in insight and knowledge. The implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS) at SDN Karangrejo 02 aims to increase students' interest in reading. This study used a qualitative approach using descriptive methods. The study population included all grade V students of SDN Karangrejo 02 for the 2023/2024 school year. The research sample involved grade V students, grade V homeroom teachers, and the principal of SDN Karangrejo 02 who were interviewed. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. From the results of the analysis in the application of reading literacy culture and interviews in this study, it shows that the School Literacy Movement (GLS) at school is very effective in improving students' reading skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperluas segmentasi wisatawan yang berkunjung dengan mengetahui potensi perkembangan yang dapat diterapkan mengenai kriteria homestay berkonsentrasi pada konsep ramah anak di Desa Cisaat. Desa Cisaat merupakan desa wisata yang menjadikan akomodasi sebagai salah satu penawaran yang tersedia untuk dijual pada wisatawan yang kerap berkunjung. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Wisata Cisaat, Kabupaten Subang dengan data yang digunakan pada penelitian yaitu data primer yang dikumpulkan melalui wawancara 10 orang responden pemilik homestay aktif yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data yang didapat kemudian dipaparkan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Desa Wisata Cisaat memiliki potensi dalam pengemangan homestay berbasis ramah anak (2) Masih kurangnya edukasi mengenai konsep ramah anak kepada pemilik homestay (3) Terbukanya keinginan pemilik homestay untuk memahami dan meimplementasikan kriteria homestay yang sesuai dengan konsep ramah anak.

Abstract

One way to improve the quality of PT. XYZ is implemented, planned, and systematically through education, training, and existing competencies. In other words, the importance of education and training in the organization is the improvement of employee performance which includes knowledge and skills that support, as well as the formation of the attitude of each employee as desired by the organization. This study uses an explanatory type of research with a quantitative approach. The independent variables used in this study were education and training (X1) with formal and non-formal education indicators, competence (X2) with indicators of leadership training, functional training, and technical training. The dependent variables in this study are performance with indicators of quantity, quality, and attitude/reliability.

Abstract

Bengkulu Cultural Centre adalah sebuah pusat kebudayaan Bengkulu yang menghimpun kebudayaan Bengkulu, serta dapat menjadi objek wisata budaya yang memberikan edukasi dan informasi kepada masyarakat tentang budaya Bengkulu, juga sebagai sarana bagi masyarakat untuk menyalurkan minat dan kecintaannya terhadap budaya Bengkulu. Perancangan Bengkulu Cultural Centre ini menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur neo vernakular yaitu suatu konsep perancangan yang memiliki prinsip mempertimbangkan kaidah-kaidah normatif, kosmologis, peran budaya lokal dalam kehidupan masyarakat serta keselarasan antara bangunan, alam, dan lingkungan dalam proses perancangannya. Selain menerapkan elemen fisik dalam bentuk modern, konsep arsitektur neo vernakular juga menerapkan elemen non fisik seperti budaya, pola pikir, kepercayaan, tata letak, religi dan lain-lain. Penerapan arsitektur neo vernakular ini diharapkan dapat mencerminkan kebudayaan Bengkulu melalui desain pada perancangan Bengkulu Cultural Centre ini.Perancangan Bengkulu Cultural Centre dengan pendekatan arsitektur neo vernakular ini diharapkan dapat menjadi wadah untuk menghimpun kebudayaan Bengkulu mulai dari kepercayaan, kesenian, dan juga adat istiadat agar tetap terjaga kelestariannya
