Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan membaca intensif dalam kehidupan dan pembelajaran pada siswa. Data menunjukkan bahwa siswa di Indonesia memiliki minat membaca rendah, hal ini menunjukkan pula kemampuan memahami teks yang rendap. Hal tersebut dialami pula oleh siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI. Di sisi lain, penerapan model pembelajaran (strategi) diharapkan dapat membantu siswa untuk mempermudah memahami wacana. Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach merupakan salah satu strategi yang dapat membantu siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu untuk membuktikan keefektifan penggunaan model CALLA dalam membaca intensif teks esai yang diterapkan pada siswa kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Laboratorium Percontohan UPI sebanyak 27 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan siswa yang signifikan dalam membaca intensif teks esai. Signifikansi didapat dari hasil perhitungan uji-test rata-rata nilai posttest dan pretest sebesar sig. 0,029 yaitu lebih kecil dari α (0,05). Jadi, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran CALLA pada pembelajaran membaca intensif teks esai.Kata kunci: membaca intensif, CALLA, model pembelajaran, teks esai, eksperimen.Abstract This research was motivated by the importance of intensive reading skills in the life and learning of students. The data shows that Indonesian students have low rate of reading interest, which also indicates limited ability to understand texts. Among them are students of class XI IPA 2 in Laboratorium Percontohan High School in UPI. However, it is expected that the application of the learning model (strategy) can help students understand discourses more easily. Cognitive Academic Language Learning Approach (CALLA) is a strategy that can help students improve their language skills. This study used a quasi-experimental method to prove the effectiveness of CALLA model in reading essays intensively as it was applied to 27 students of class XI IPA 2 in Laboratorium Percontohan High School in UPI. The results showed a significant increase in students' ability in intensive essay-reading. The level of significance of 0.029 was obtained from the results of the calculation of the average posttest and pretest scores, which is smaller than α (0.05). In other words, a significant difference was confirmed before and after the application of CALLA learning model in learning reading essay intensively.Keywords: intensive reading, CALLA, learning model, essay, experiment

Abstract

The training of composing genre-based and life-skills-based materials for Indonesian language teaching aims to deal with students’ enormous future challenges. Therefore, this training allowed teachers to develop life-based Indonesian language teaching materials and to teach them to students. Methods to analyze the implementation are direct observation, interviews, and presentations during the program. This community service program concludes that: (1) most of the training participants gave positive responses about the significance of teaching materials developed, training implementation facilities, and instructor assessments, (2) the development of Indonesian language course modules and textbooks comprises printed, audio, visual, and multimedia materials, (3) the needs analysis of the Indonesian language teaching materials for Madrasah Aliyah is oriented to the needs of improving students' abilities regarding language, literature, and literacy, (4) alternative literature teaching materials for Madrasah Aliyah should contain examples of life-skills principles that participants should follow.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kaidah morfofonemik pada bentuk dasar yang Mengandung gugus konsonan (kluster) yang apabila diimbuhkan dengan prefiks, fonem {men-} dan {Pen-},Maka kata yang diawali dengan fonem <p>, <t>, <k>, dan <s> tidak menjadi luluh. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Mengidentifikasi kecenderungan morfofonemik {men- dan pen-} sebagai hasil persepsi mahasiswa yang Merupakan Penutur Jati Bahasa Indonesia. Unit Analis Data dalam Penelitian ini  adalah lembar hasil kerja mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FPBS UPI Bandung Angkatan 2016 sebanyak 110 orang . Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan Kerangka Teori Morfofonemik yang dikembangkan Anthony karena Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengungkap kecenderungan kaidah morfofonemik prefiks {men- dan pen-} sebagai hasil persepsi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia FPBS UPI Bandung Angkatan 2016 yang Merupakan Penutur Jati Bahasa Indonesia . Temuan Penelitian Menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 bentukan kata yang dihasilkan melalui proses afiksasi {men} yang dilekatkan pada bentuk dasar berupa kata yang berkluster dengan fonem awal <p>, <t>, <k>, dan <s> diketahui bahwa mahasiswa cenderung memilih kata yang mempertahankan fonem awal pada bentuk dasar yang berkluster dengan alasan karena (1) merasa lazim untuk diucapkan dan mudah diucapkan. Selanjutnya, hasil yang diperoleh untuk 10 bentukan kata melalui proses morfonologis afiksasi pen- dengan bentuk dasar kata berkluster yang berfonem awal <p>, <t>, <k>, dan <s> diperoleh hasil yang bervariasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kecenderungan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kaidah morfofonemik pada bentuk dasar berkluster dan berfonem <p>, <t>, <k>, dan <s> di awal Kata ditemukan ada Mahasiswa yang mempertahankan dan meluluhkan fonem awal pada bentuk dasar yang berkluster tersebut.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of using precise and unambiguous language so that it can be well understood by the public. The data of this study were taken from political news uploaded by Kompas.com during August 21-23, 2024 related to the Constitutional Court's decision Number 70/PUU-XXII/2024 regarding the minimum age limit for regional head candidates. The aim is to analyze the media framing in reporting the issue using the Zhongdang Pan & Gerald M. Kosicki framing analysis model. The results of the analysis found several terms that describe uncertainty and critical terms to emphasize the social impact of dynastic politics and political interests that benefit certain parties.  Uncertainty is a framing raised by Kompas.com to form a narrative of transparency related to the unfinalized legal process and create a discourse of public supervision highlighted through the “Kawal Putusan MK” narrative. The reaction of public protests is an important consideration, especially for Kompas.com, which can strengthen the narrative of political favoritism carried out by the DPR, which is considered to open the way for dynastic politics for Kaesang, who has prepared himself by taking care of the letters related to the requirements for the 2024 Pilkada candidates.

Abstract

The path of creative work creation as an alternative to completing undergraduate studies in the field of Indonesian Language and Literature Education has not been widely implemented on other campuses. Many Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Programs on campus are still preparing this scheme as an alternative that students can choose to complete their undergraduate studies. This training aims to share good practices that have been carried out in PBSI UPI Study Program on the application of research with the art-based research method. This training was attended by participants who were final year students in the Language and Literature Education Study Program at Ganesa University of Education. The training has been carried out synchronously and asynchronously. Synchronous activities are carried out using Zoom Meeting. Asynchronous activities are carried out by participants independently using indirect coordination and assistance through google form and google drive. The results achieved from this activity, participants have understood the basic concepts of art-based research methods in the field of Indonesian Language and Literature Education. Regarding the application of these concepts, the achievements of the participants were quite varied from those that were good to those that were still not fully able to apply the concepts that had been given.

Abstract

Xenoglosofilia berkaitan erat dengan bahasa Indonesia sebagai identitas nasional dan bahasa asing sebagai alat komunikasi global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk, penyebab, serta implikasi xenoglosofilia dari generasi Z pada Studygram terhadap literasi bahasa. Metode yang digunakan ialah kualitatif deskriptif jenis Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) melalui analisis konten dan wawancara tertulis dengan wordcloud sebagai alat pengolahan data dan Analisis Wacana Kritis Fairclough sebagai landasan teori. Hasil analisis terhadap 300 unggahan dari 10 subjek menunjukkan xenoglosofilia dalam bentuk campur kode ke luar pada tataran kata dan frasa (nomina, verba, pronomina, adverbia, preposisi, konjungsi, adjektiva, interjeksi) serta alih kode ke luar pada klausa dan kalimat (nominal, verbal, adverbial, adjektival). Pada level tekstual, bentuk ini mencerminkan nilai eksperiental, relasional, dan ekspresif. Pada level praktik diskursif, fenomena ini dipicu oleh strategi menjangkau audiens global, efisiensi istilah, tekanan komunitas, pencitraan profesional, dan optimalisasi algoritma digital. Bahasa asing juga diposisikan sebagai simbol prestise digital yang mewakili simbol kecerdasan dan modernitas, citra profesional-akademik, strategi menarik audiens, kesan eksklusif, dan adaptasi tren global. Xenoglosofilia berimplikasi terhadap peningkatan kompetensi berbahasa asing, tetapi di sisi lain mendorong pengabaian padanan kata bahasa Indonesia. Hal ini terlihat melalui dimensi situasional (diksi dipilih demi daya tarik digital), institusional (Studygram membentuk kebiasaan linguistik baru), dan sosial (globalisasi mendorong marginalisasi bahasa dan jarak antarpenutur). Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan Trigatra Bangun Bahasa secara kreatif dan kolaboratif agar bahasa Indonesia tetap adaptif dan berdaya di ruang digital.

Abstract

A policy comes into existence that does not have a strong basis in the formation process and can trigger controversy and debate among the public. Social media, with its hashtag feature, has become a platform for people from all walks of life to voice their opinions. This research aims to reveal the meaning contained in Instagram posts with the hashtag #EmergencyAlert. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which refers to the theory of social semiotics proposed by Theo van Leeruwen. This research analyzes four main elements of social semiotics, namely discourse, genre, style, and modality. Data collection in this study was done by collecting and documenting Instagram content, then categorizing the content based on the #EmergencyAlert hashtag according to the number of interactions received. The results of this research were then developed into new semiotic resources to enrich future studies. The findings of this analysis show that posters shared on Instagram with the hashtag #EmergencyAlert have deep signification related to maintaining the integrity of democracy in Indonesia. The violation of people's sovereignty is understood as a protest action marked by the Blue Garuda Emergency Alert to the Government, which is shown by posting a poster in blue with the symbol of the garuda bird, accompanied by a call to the public to participate and monitor the government.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of pronominal clitics in Bobo Magazine's short story collection and see its potential in supporting the Indonesian language learning process in phase B of the elementary school level. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of literature study. The data analysis technique uses literature study with listening and recording techniques. The data of this research are pronominal clitics found in short stories published in Bobo Magazine from February to April 2025, namely: 1) Idol Hero, 2) Grandfather's Barong Mask, and 3) Half Day Fasting. The results show that there are two types of pronominal clitics, namely proclitics {ku-}, {kau-} and enclitics {-ku}, {-mu}, {-nya}, with uneven distribution. Enclitics, especially {-nya}, are most dominantly used, reflecting the use of third-person point of view in children's short story narratives. In contrast, the form {kau-} was absent and {-mu} appeared in limited numbers, indicating a subtle and indirect narrative tendency in children's communication. The conclusion of this study is that pronominal clitics, with their rich variety of forms and functions, have great potential to be utilized as teaching materials that are contextual, functional, and in accordance with students' cognitive development level.

Abstract

Kecerdasan buatan atau Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah menjadi alat yang mendukung penulis dalam mengembangkan ide, struktur narasi, dan karakter cerita. Memanfaatkan kecerdasan buatan dalam proses membuat cerita pendek memungkinkan penulis untuk mengatasi kendala teknis dan meningkatkan kualitas penulisannya. Artikel ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana perkembangan teknologi dapat membantu penulis dalam mengatasi hambatan kreatif, mempercepat proses penulisan, dan meningkatkan kualitas karya. Selain itu, artikel ini juga membahas tantangan etis dan artistik yang muncul dari penggunaan AI dalam penulisan, termasuk isu orisinalitas dan kreativitas. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan yang mendalam tentang potensi dan batasan kecerdasan buatan dalam dunia sastra, khususnya dalam karya tulis cerita pendek. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyebaran angket kepada siswa.. Hasil data dijelaskan dari respon terhadap angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun AI dapat menjadi alat yang multifungsi, peran penulis manusia tetap krusial dalam menciptakan narasi yang bermakna dan emosional.
