Abstract

This article is a qualitative research that aims to describe the implementation of environmentally sound school management in MAN 1 Samarinda. This school began to focus on becoming a school adiwiyata in 2015 and managed to achieve the achievement as a provincial school adiwiyata in 2017. Implementation of this adiwiyata program as a manifestation of the vision of MAN 1 Samarinda, which is MAN 1 Samarinda as a religious-based school is to realize the human resources has aqidah islam and morality, smart, independent, competitive, able to build partnership and concern for environmental sustainability. The Adiwiyata school program at MAN 1 Samarinda was designed by the Adiwiyata MAN 1 Samarinda program team which includes 4 components, ie environmentally sound policies, environmental-based curriculum implementation, participatory based activities and environmentally friendly use of facilities. Supporting factors in the implementation of the adiwiyata program in MAN 1 Samrinda, which is good cooperation of all components of the school community, environmentally friendly facilities and infrastructure and support from outside parties, one of them Environment Agency (DLH). While the inhibiting factor in the implementation of the adiwiyata program is the cost or budget and students’ awarenees of the environment. Keywords: Adiwiyata School Management

Abstract

The implementation of learning the introduction of Hijaiyah letters at RA Miftahul Ulum, Cirebon Regency has not been effective so that researchers develop learning media to improve the ability to recognize Hijaiyah letters in the form of Arabic Alphabet for Kids. This study uses the Research and Development method using data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. This research was held for about 6 months The type of data analysis produced is a descriptive qualitative analysis using percentage calculations. This study resulted in a product in the form of Arabic Alphabet for Kids media which was declared suitable to be used for the introduction of children’s Hijaiyah letters. Expert judgment for media resulted in 100% and material expert validation obtained 96, 42% results, user assessments conducted by class A teachers obtained 91.66% results, and user assessments carried out by class B teachers. obtained a yield of 93.75%. In addition, during the media trial, children’s ability to recognize Hijaiyah letters increased to 77.81% which was included in the very well-developed category (BSB).

Abstract

Dawah plays a vital role in developing and disseminating Islam as it opens opportunities for Islamic teachings to be accepted and adapted in new environments with people from different cultures. In this context, Sufi preaching is one of the successful manifestations in the propagation of Islam due to its flexible nature, which is its characteristic feature. Therefore, this research aims to examine and identify the role of preaching in developing Sufism in East Kalimantan, particularly in the current era of globalization. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research approach, with research locations spread across several areas in East Kalimantan, including Samarinda, Kutai Kartanegara, Balikpapan, Kutai Timur, Bontang, and Paser. The research results indicate that the current societal conditions closely related to technological advancements and information necessitate the presence of more relevant forms of preaching. In this context, da'is are obliged to use digital media to convey Sufi teachings. They are expected to be proficient in utilizing technology to continue delivering their preaching in line with the progress of the times.

Abstract

Mahasiswa STAI Al-Hikmah 2 telah melaksanakan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) selama 40 hari di Desa Prapag Kidul, Kecamatan Losari, Kabupaten Brebes. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan program ini adalah agar dosen dan mahasiswa mendapatkan ilmu dan pengalaman belajar melalui interaksi langsung dengan masyarakat untuk mengidentifikasi, merumuskan, menyelesaikan, dan mengatasi masalah yang ada di lapangan. Metode pelaksanaan KKN berupa pengumpulan data, sosialisasi, dan tindakan yang melibatkan pemerintah dan masyarakat secara langsung. Hasil-hasil yang didapat dari kegiatan KKN ini mencakup berbagai kegiatan yang telah dilakukan seperti (a) Mengadakan gotong royong membersihkan lingkungan sekitar khususnya tempat ibadah, disertai pemberian donasi berupa tong sampah. (b) Mengadakan pelatihan memanfaatkan limbah plastik menjadi kerajinan seni berupa kreasi terjun payung. (c) Membantu kegiatan Posyandu dan Imunisasi Anak. (d) Mengadakan pengajian rutin ibu-ibu. (e) Melakukam bimbingan Al-Qur’an dan pengajaran di Madrasah Diniyah. (f) Menyerahkan donasi berupa alat dan sarana pendidikan keagamaan. (g) Mengadakan sosialisasi bahaya pernikahan dini dan kenakalan remaja disertai bedah kampus. (h). Mengadakan peringatan Isra Mikraj. Terciptanya lingkungan pemukiman yang bersih, sehat, berpendidikan dan agamis merupakan dambaan semua warga. Konsep ini berusaha diimplementasikan oleh mahasiswa yang menjalani Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) STAI Al-Hikmah 2 Brebes di lokasi KKN.

Abstract

Background: The impact of online learning during the pandemic on students' mathematics achievements is influenced by their preparedness and belief in their ability to learn mathematics. Students’ readiness is closely linked to their self-efficacy.Aim: This study aims to examine the influence of online learning readiness on mathematics achievement, with mathematics self-efficacy serving as a mediator.Method: The study adopted a quantitative exploratory correlational approach to statistically explore the relationships between variables. It involved 197 students from UIN Sultan Aji Muhammad Idris Samarinda, who were enrolled in mathematics courses and selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using an online learning readiness questionnaire and a mathematics self-efficacy scale, with final semester grades indicating mathematics learning achievement. Path analysis was utilized for data analysis.Result: The findings reveal that both online learning readiness and mathematics self-efficacy have a partial and simultaneous effect on mathematics learning achievement. Additionally, online learning readiness influences mathematics self-efficacy. The Sobel test results indicate that mathematics self-efficacy mediates the relationship between online learning readiness and mathematics learning achievement, with a more dominant direct influence of online learning readiness on mathematics achievement.Conclusion: The study underscores the importance of a student-oriented approach in online learning, considering the significant role of online learning readiness and self-efficacy in enhancing mathematics learning achievement.
