Abstract

Lingkungan Karang Bolong berada di kelurahan Randakari Kecamatan Ciwandan kota Cilegon. Kecamatan Randakari merupakan kecamatan yang paling banyak industri dan perusahaan besar dibanding dengan kecamatan lain di Kota Cilegon. Meskipun berada di kawasan industri, jumlah keluarga miskin di Kecamatan Ciwandan mencapai 300 Rumah Tangga Sasaran (RTS), 300 Bantuan Langsung Masyarakat (BLM) dan 459 Jamkesmas. Jumlah ini paling tinggi dibandingkan kecamatan lain di Kota Cilegon. Untuk meningkatkan tingkat perekonomian masyarakat dengan cara memberikan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan Masyarakat (PKM). Kegiatan pendidikan kewirausahaan yang dilakukan tidak hanya memberikan keterampilan wirausaha, akan tetapi menumbuhkan modal sosial masyarakat untuk mewujudkan terbentuknya usahawan-usahawan baru. Kegiatan PKM yang dilakukan akan difokuskan pada pembentukan satu kelompok masyarakat yang akan diberdayakan. Mitra akan diberikan PKM melalui pengelolaan usaha teh Kombucha. Metode Pelaksanaan yang akan dilakukan terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu : tahap pertama penyuluhan tentang pemahaman teh kombucha sebagai peluang usaha yang sangat layak dikembangkan. Tahap kedua pelatihan pembuatan teh kombucha. Tahapan ketiga pelatihan kelayakan ekonomi kegiatan usaha teh kombucha secara sederhana untuk memberikan pemahaman manajemen kewirausahaan yang baik. Tahapan keempat yaitu pelatihan pemasaran, mengajarkan teknik pengemasan dan strategi pemasaran teh kombucha baik secara market online maupun offline. Tahap kelima yaitu rencana keberlanjutan program pengabdian dengan cara pendampingan sampai teh Kombucha dapat dipasarkan dengan baik di salah satu kafe atau minimarket di kota Serang

Abstract

The purpose of this research is investigating the effect of rice husk ash in reducing of BOD, COD and TSS in leachate water. In this research, the protype of water purifier was created and the rice husk was conducted in this instrument. Before using as an adsorbent, the rice husk ash was heated at furnace at 500 °C. The process of water purifying using rice husk as an adsorbent was performed from 0 min to 120 min. The BOD-COD levels and the TSS content in leachate water was investigated before and after purifying using rice husk ash. The BOD level at this time was decreased from 412.5 to 126.25mg/L during contact time optimum 45 min.. The optimum time in reducing COD was also reduced from 861.0 to 261.25 mg/L during 45 min respectively. After 45 min , the content of BOD and COD was increased. The TSS content of leachate water after treatment using rice husk ash was changed from 99.0 to 5.0 mg/L after 30 min contact with rice husk. We conclude that the rice husk was effective in decreasing BOD, COD and TSS in leachate water.Keywords: Rice husk ash, BOD, COD.

Abstract

Konsumen muslim di Indonesia sangat membutuhkan label sertifikat halal pada produk yang akan dikonsumsi. Mengkonsumsi produk-produk halal, baik berupa makanan maupun minuman  merupakan salah satu syariat Islam yang harus dilpenuhi. Keseriusan pemerintah Indonesia dalam memberikan jaminan terhadap produk halal dibuktikan dengan diberlakukannya Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 dan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 39 Tahun 2021 tentang Peraturan Pelaksanaan Jaminan Produk Halal. Peraturan-peraturan yang diberlakukan pemerintah mendorong pelaku usaha untuk segera memproses label halal bagi produk-produk usahanya. Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 39 tahun 2021 menyatakan bahwa sertifikasi halal bagi pelaku usaha mikro dan kecil didasarkan atas pernyataan pelaku usaha (self declare). Pendampingan proses produk halal self declare diberikan kepada para pelaku usaha di kampung Cibetik RT 05/RW 03 kelurahan Cilowong kecamatan Taktakan, kota Serang, Provinsi Banten. Pendampingan diberikan kepada tiga pelaku usaha rumahan yang memproduksi berbagai jenis makanan. Produk-produk makanan yang dihasilkan adalah kripik pisang, rempeyek, sagon dan emping. Pendampingan proses produk halal dimulai dengan melakukan sosialisasi pentingnya memiliki sertifikat halal bagi produk usaha serta prosedur memperoleh sertifikat halal self declare. Pendampingan dilanjutkan dengan  membantu membuat Nomor Induk Berusaha (NIB), mengisi manual Sistem Jaminan Produk Halal (SJPH) dan memfasilitasi pelaku usaha pada aplikasi SiHalal yang diawali dengan membuat akun SiHalal sampai pengajuan sertifikat halal self declare. Pendampingan proses produk halal self declare dibantu oleh mahasiswa KKM kelompok 47 Universitas Serang Raya.

Abstract

The wastewater in the washing process in Methyl Iso Cyanate production line contains ammonia which causes air pollution. Therefore, the ammonia waste processing system is needed that can degrade ammonia so that its concentration decreases and reduces the pollution. Photocatalytic degradation of ammonia is an attractive technology because of its easy operation, high efficiency, low cost, and low secondary pollutants. The photocatalytic process produces hydroxyl groups from the decomposition of water which can oxidize ammonia into nitrate and nitrogen gas. This research aims to process ammonia waste by combining adsorption and photocatalysis processes to obtain better performance in degrading ammonia. The research began with the preparation of activated carbon as an adsorbent and the synthesis of activated carbon-TiO2 composite material. Activated carbon is heated at 500º C for 6 hours for the activation process. Composite material synthesis is carried out using the slurry method. Activated carbon performance testing was carried out at weight variations of 10, 20 and 30 gram. Measurement of ammonia concentration was carried out using the spectrophotometry method. Optimum results were obtained at an activated carbon weight of 30 gram with a reduction in ammonia concentration of 1.01%. TiO2 as much as 5% of the weight of activated carbon (30 gram) is dissolved in ethanol and activated carbon is added to obtain a composite material. In the composite material performance test, a maximum reduction in ammonia concentration of 45% was obtained using the ultrasonic stirring method.

Abstract

The primary focus of this research is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the photoanode based of titania nanotubes in the photoelectrocatalytic process, which enables the simultaneous generation of hydrogen and degradation of ammonia. The modification process involved the incorporation of nitrogen dopant during anodization and sensitization of CuO through Successive Ionic Layer Adsorption Reaction (SILAR). The results of this study showed that the introduction of N dopant led to a significant enhancement in both the ammonia elimination and the hydrogen production, as evidenced by 3N-TiNTAs achieving 74.4% and 561 mmol/m2, respectively. Meanwhile, the highest hydrogen production was observed with 7CuO-TiNTAs at 910.14 mmol/m2. The study revealed that N-TiNTAs exhibited superior performance in ammonia degradation; while CuO-TiNTAs showed higher hydrogen production rates. Furthermore, the mechanistic aspects of the study were also thoroughly examined.
