<![CDATA[Province which have a high Native Revenue (PAD) have the tendency to give a very largeportion budget to infrastructures, including to develop facilities and access roads, ports andairports. However, infrastructure facility development has not been based on considerationsof effectiveness and efficiency. There are many governments in the provinces build the airportbased on calculation of profits on paper only without regarding and go along withSpatial Planning District (RTRWK) and Regional Transport Order (Tatrawil) and Local TransportOrder (Tatralok). This study is to assess for infrastructure accessibility index associatedwith spatial transport in the district or city in the province of East Kalimantan, therefore wecan found out which areas has a low value index of accessibility and the necessity to reformand develop the infrastructure. Based on these results, the cities has good cathegory index areSamarinda (29), Balikpapan (1.84), North Penajam Pa5er (13) and Kutai Kartanegara (1.29).It can be seen based in the pattern in which the district / city near PKN has high score.Keywords: index, accessibility, infrastructure transportation]]>

<![CDATA[Pemodelan simulasi lalu lintas merupakan pendekatan yang efektif untuk menganalisis kinerja ruas jalan karena dapat menghasilkan output yang mendekati kenyataan. Jalan Diponegoro di DKI Jakarta memiliki beragam aktivitas guna lahan samping jalan, serta kesibukan yang tinggi. Kajian ini bertujuan memodelkan pergerakan lalu lintas di ruas Jalan Diponegoro Jakarta diukur berdasarkan derajat kejenuhan, kecepatan tempuh, waktu tempuh dan tingkat pelayanan (LoS),selanjutnya dimodelkan menggunakan aplikasi VISSIM, kendaraan yang melewati ruas jalan cenderung bervariasi (mixed traffic condition). Hasil yang didapat adalah VCR pada jam sibuk ratarata melebihi nilai 1dan derajat kejenuhan mencapai tingkatan terendah, yaitu F, yang dipicu oleh aktivitas kegiatan sepanjang ruas jalan. Untuk perbaikan kualitas diperlukan beberapa langkah seperti rekayasa lalu lintas, larangan berheti kendaraan angkutan umum di sembarang tempat serta meningkatkan disiplin pejalan kaki.]]>

<![CDATA[Permasalahan tingginya angka kecelakaan di Indonesia dan tingginya jumlah emisi gas rumah kaca yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan sektor transportasi, mengidentifikasikan perlunya dilaksanakan kajian mengenai teknologi smart tachograph dan pengaruhnya terhadap angka kecelakaan, Kajian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan tingkat efektifitas teknologi smart tachograph dalam menurunkan konsumsi bahan bakar dan jumlah emisi GRK dari sektor transportasi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan gabungan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian yang lebih dominan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data primer dilaksanakan untuk menganalisa efektivitas alat smart tachograph. Analisis data menggunakan persamaan mobile combustion. Pengaktifan driving asistance pada alat tachograph dapat menghemat konsumsi bahan bakar kendaraan rata-rata sebesar8.22 %. Jumlah emisi yang dihasilkan dari sampel kendaraan tanpa driving asistance adalah 161.635 Ton CO2/ tahun. Jumlah konsumsi BBM pada kendaraan dengan driving asistance adalah 2.002.010.361 MJ. Jumlah emisi yang dihasilkan kendaraan dengan driving asistance adalah 148.349 Ton CO2/ tahun. Penurunan emisi kendaraan setelah menggunakan alat smart tachograph dengandriving asistance adalah 13.286 Ton CO2/ tahun.]]>

<![CDATA[Transportation which serves as a driving force for development (promoting function) is expected to be precise in formulating planning as needed. The purpose of the study is to plan public transportation needs for community Natuna district to other areas. The purpose of the study is to obtain the number of public transportation needs for community Natuna district in the future. By using the method of Furness and based on data from the Origin Destination Survey in 2006, then in 2012, there has been growth in the movement of 3 % with the use of the main mode of sea transportation by 52 % . With the application of hub and spokes pattern in the cross-shipping, it can synergize with the application of force on the island of Natuna district and makes the distribution of service load is spread evenly across the district capital. Development of assistive technologies such as port infrastructure so as a mode of captive to the small islands can be improved reliability.Keywords: transportation needs, Furness]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of the research is to find out the direct and indirect impact of the crew’s personal experience and safety training on preventing the accidental risk in compliance with shipping safety regulation of Abu Dhabi Maridive and Oil Services. Several problems found; the lack of ships’ crew awareness in compliance with the use of safety equipment when carrying out safety training and the lack of ships’ crew knowledge of the safe keeping and maintenance of the safety equipment. The study used a Path analysis with 60 samples of the Maridive and Oil Services Abu Dhabi crew. The study used linear regression analysis technique, simple correlation, partial and path analysis. The results state that the variable in compliance with safety regulations could mediate the safety training to prevent the accidental risk on board. It shows that good safety training could increase the prevention of on board accidental risk mediated by compliance of the safety regulation]]>

<![CDATA[ The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of ship agency service quality and management information systems to service user loyalty through internal control mediation at Tanjung Priok Port. Some of the problems found, among others, are still not optimal service quality and management information systems provided by the company to customers. In addition, internal control has not been carried out optimally and ship departure schedules are sometimes not as promised by the company. This research was conducted at PT Umbu Perdana Maritim as a new agency company located in the Tanjung Priok Port area. The research population is the customers of PT Umbu Perdana Maritim, for a sample of 60 active customers which is called a saturated sample. For data processing carried out in this study, using the path analysis method. The results showed that the quality of ship agency services did not have a direct effect on service user loyalty through internal control, and the management information system did not have a direct effect on service user loyalty through internal control.]]>

<![CDATA[The main problem of the national tanker company, Pertamina Trans Kontinental, is the low productivity of the ship’s crew. The purpose of the study is to find out the performance of the crew commitment, crew motivation and work facilities to improve the company’s work productivity. The data were obtained by interviewing five experts. Questionnaires were distributed to ten people of five experts and five employees of Pertamina Trans Continental. The data, then, were analyzed using AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process). The results of the study show that some employees still need special guidance and supervision to increase their motivation and commitment and the ship facilities should also be increased. The results of the analysis using AHP show that the highest priority can be seen in work motivation factor and then followed by work commitment and work facilities.]]>
