Abstract

Multidisciplinary study is often conducted to investigate emotions. Research on emotions focuses on the situation, behavior and beliefs that underlie the emergence of emotion, and not on the emotion itself. Research on emotion not only examine the types of emotions alone but is associated with the situation, behaviors, and beliefs. It is inseparable from emotion regulation system that is owned by someone. Gross & Thompson and Kalat & Shiota state that emotion regulation may serve as a coping strategy to face psychological distress. Prihartanti’s research shows that in Javanese culture (Suryomentaram concept), a healthy person must be a able to adapt to the environment with introspective methods. Theoretically, the introspective method is similar to the concept of emotion regulation version of western culture. Therefore, this study intends to study the difference between the two concepts.The research method used is a comparative study using two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative. A qualitative approach was conducted in the first year with the aim of acquiring data directly from the field then compiled into a gauge or scale. Quantitative approaches were used to examine differences between the introspective emotion regulation. Result shows that there are differences and similarities between the concepts of introspection in Suryomentaram with emotion regulation. The similarity lies on the ultimate goal, role and function, cognitive approaches and generalizations, while the difference lies in the step or process.

Abstract

Kebahagiaan merupakan gambaran emosi positif dan negatif (afektif) dan kepuasan hidup seseorang terhadap keseluruhan kehidupan. Hasil dari studi awal yang dilakukan peneliti menunjukkan bahwa kehidupan anak di panti asuhan cenderung mengalami emosi negatif dibanding emosi positif, serta sering mengeluhkan kehidupannya. Terdapat beberapa intervensi yang dapat diberikan untuk meningkatkan emosi positif dan kepuasan hidup, salah satu intervensi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menurunkan emosi negatif dan meningkatkan emosi positif sekaligus meningkatkan kepuasan hidup adalah dengan pelatihan regulasi emosi. Pelatihan regulasi emosi berisi memonitor emosi, mengevaluasi emosi dan memodifikasi emosi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan regulasi emosi terhadap kebahagiaan remaja panti di Panti Asuhan Anak Yatim Piatu Daarul Hadlonah YKMNU Kendal. Metode penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimen dengan desain Randomized Control Group Pretest-Pots Tets Design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja panti asuhan yatim piatu berusia 13-16 tahun, jumlah subjek 19 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan regulasi emosi memiliki pengaruh yang sangat signifikan terhadap kebahagiaan remaja panti asuhan yatim piatu.Kata kunci: kebahagiaan, regulasi emosi, yatim piatu

Abstract

Stimulation program is a treatment by providing literacy packages containing guidebooks literacy activities, media literacy in children and socialization for mothers. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of the stimulation program to improve literacy skills in preschoolers. The proposed hypothesis that stimulation literacy program effective in improving early literacy skills in preschool children. This research method using a quasi-experimental design with the non-equivalent control group. Subjects were 30 children aged 3-5 years were divided into an experimental group and a control group. Based on the analysis by the non-parametric statistical test Mann-Whitney U, it was known that there were differences increase early literacy skills in the experimental group and control group. Qualitative analysis showed an increase in the literacy skills by observing changes in the measurement results. Results from this study are important as a new study in finding alternative methods of stimulating preschool children.Abstrak : Program stimulasi merupakan perlakuan dengan memberikan paket literasi berisi buku panduan aktivitas dan satu set media literasi pada anak serta sosialisasi untuk ibu. Tujuan penelitian untuk menguji efektivitas program stimulasi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi pada anak prasekolah. Hipotesis yang diajukan yaituprogram stimulasi literasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi awal pada anak prasekolah. Metode yang digunakan yaitu quasi experiment dengan desain non-equivalent control group. Subjek merupakan 30 anak usia 3-5 tahun yang terbagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan uji statistik non-parametrik Mann-Whitney U, diketahui bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan literasi awal pada kelompok eksperimen dengan kelompok kontrol. Analisis kualitatif menunjukan peningkatan kemampuan literasi dengan mengamati perubahan hasil pengukuran. Hasil penelitian ini penting sebagai kajian baru dalam menemukan alternatif metode stimulasi anak prasekolah.

Abstract

Career maturity is a condition that needed to choice the program in higher level study. Henceforth, the low level of career maturity in senior high school student has to be solved with the comprehensive intervention as soon as possible. The purpose of this research is to know the effectivity of Reach Your Dreams Training and career counseling for improving career maturity in senior high school student. This research used Solomon Six Group Design. Subjects of this research are 42 senior high school students with average level of career maturity who are divided into two groups given Reach Your Dreams Training, two groups given career counseling, and two control groups. According to the result, the conclusion of this research is Reach Your Dreams Training and Counseling Career can improve career maturity level in senior high school students effectively. It is caused by the effect of Reach Your Dreams Training and career counseling, and not caused by the effect of pretest.

Abstract

Keluhan guru bimbingan konseling yang utama dan sering disampaikan adalah kurangnya semangat siswa dalam belajar dan kurang menunjukkan motivasi untuk belajar. Upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan motivasi belajar telah banyak dilakukan dengan menunjukkan hasil yang bervariasi. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Bimbingan Konseling Kelompok dengan menggunakan model pada peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP). Rancangan eksperimen yang digunakan berupa one group pretest-posttest design. Delapan siswa menunjukkan motivasi belajar rendah berdasarkan skala motivasi belajar dipilih menjadi subjek penelitian. Intervensi yang digunakan adalah bimbingan konseling dan bimbingan konseling. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji nonparametrik dengan teknik wilcoxon. Hasilnya menunjukkan koefisien sebesar -2,366 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,018 (p< 0,05), yang dapat diartikan bahwa nilai post test lebih besar daripada nilai pre-test sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa terjadi peningkatan motivasi belajar setelah diberikan bimbingan konseling kelompok. kesimpulannya bahwa bimbingan konseling kelompok dengan menggunakan model dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Pecandu alkohol adalah istilah yang digunakan pada orang yang menggunakan dan mengkonsumsi alkohol dalam jangka waktu lama. Di dalam DSM IV, dampak jangka pendek penggunaan alkohol antara lain meningkatnya emosi negatif, gangguan pada proses berpikir, kemampuan motorik, dan keseimbangan tubuh, yang diikuti oleh kemampuan bicara dan penglihatan yang melemah, tertidur, responsivitas seksual dan menunjukkan perilaku agresi. Informasi tentang jenis perilaku agresif sangat diperlukan untuk menghindarkan orang-orang di sekitar dari tindak kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh pencandu alkohol. Oleh karena itu tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengungkap, dan mendeskripsikan perilaku agresif pada pecandu alkohol. Informan penelitian berjumlah 6 orang, di Magetan. Adapun hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa perilaku agresif yang muncul pada pecandu alkohol adalah memukul teman, mengejar dan mengancam, membentak, dan berkata kasar. Tujuan mengkonsumsi alkohol (1) menjalin relasi sosial, (2) melarikan diri dari masalah, (3) menambah keberanian dan (4) menghilangkan rasa tidak nyaman, agar dapat tidur dengan nyenyak. Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of “Goting” training in increasing the learning independence of junior high school students. A total number of 14 students who had a medium score of learning independence participated in this study. They have assigned into two groups, with seven students as the experimental group and seven students as the control group. The experimental group has given “Goting” training while the control group was a waiting list group. This study uses a learning independence scale (52 items) which refers to Song & Hill (2007) aspects, namely Personal Attributes, Processes, and Learning Context. The result of this study showed that there is a significant effect between the experimental group and the control group.

Abstract

Work motivation that becomes a drive for someone in completing their work is important to be maintained and improved. The purpose of this research was to determine the effectiveness of goal setting training to improve work motivation for employees. This study uses a pretest-posttest control group design. Subjects of this research were 24 employees of PT X Sragen, which is divided into experimental and control groups. Measurement of work motivation was using The Multidimensional Work Motivation Scale. The data results were analyzed by ANOVA mixed design analysis. The results of the interaction test work motivation scores between the experimental and control groups crossed with the score measurement time (pretest-posttest-follow up) showed an F-count value of 27,604 and a significance of 0,000 and partial eta squared 0,556 that means goal setting training is effective to increase work motivation on employees. Thus, employee can empower their clearer and more targeted goals to be more motivated at work..
