Abstract

A company has a goal to increase the value of the company. Anincrease in company value results in an increase in shareholder welfare. Asan investor, of course investors will choose to invest in companies with agrowing company value. Company value can be influenced by profitability,company growth, leverage, and company size. The purpose of this studywas to determine the effect of profitability, company growth, and corporateleverage by using company size as a control variable. This research focuseson the manufacturing industry especially the food and beverage sub-sectorlisted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014–2018. This study uses quantitativeresearch with a total sample of 14 companies and each companyuses five data so that the total data is 70 data. This study uses multiplelinear regression analysis processed by the SPSS program. The results showedthat profitability, company growth, and corporate leverage have a significantinfluence on firm value. Profitability is the variable with the highestinfluence which is then followed by company growth and corporate leverage.

Abstract

Toko  bangunan  ”XYZ”, merupakan sebuah usaha dagang yang  bergerak  di  bidang  jual beli bahan  bangunan. Dimana bahan bangunan yang dijual terdiri atas berbagai jenis barang dengan harga dan merek yang berbeda-beda. Hal ini menyebabkan informasi akan ketersediaan stok barang sesuai dengan penjualan menjadi sangatlah penting, mengingat banyak barang yang berharga cukup mahal dan membutuhkan tempat penyimpanan yang cukup besar. Sehingga bila terjadi salah perhitungan akan stok barang, maka akan terjadi kehilangan kesempatan untuk memenuhi penjualan (lost sales) karena kekurangan stok barang ataupun akan terjadi investasi yang terhenti karena barang tertimbun di gudang tanpa bisa terjual dengan lancar.Berdasar permasalahan di atas, dibutuhkan sebuah sistem peramalan guna menentukan persediaan barang yang ada sesuai dengan permintaan (demand). Guna memprediksi  jumlah persediaan stok barang akan digunakan metode  ARIMA yang akan dihitung dengan menggunakan sebuah aplikasi yang berjalan pada VB.Net dan SQL Server 2005. Hasil perhitungan nantinya akan ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik yang nanti akan divalidasi  dan  verifikasi  secara manual berdasar data penjualan lampau yang telah terjadi.Dari penelitian dan pengujian yang dilakukan didapatkan bahwa sistem yang dibuat telah mampu menentukan model peramalan ARIMA yang tepat pada barang di toko bahan bangunan “XYZ” ini.

Abstract

The objective of the study was to know the implementation of policies to improve the quality of education at SMP Negeri 2 Sekayu towards the National Education Standards. This study uses a qualitative method. Subjects in this study were school principals, Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure, Student Associates, Teachers, and Students. Data collection was carried out by interview, observation, and documentation. Data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and conculsion drawing. From the research results it can be concluded that the quality of education at SMP Negeri 2 Sekayu has met the requirements as a school with very good quality with the accreditation it has, namely the predicate "A" as a pilot school in Musi Banyuasin Regency. The National Education Standards that are applied are guided by the regulations issued by the Directorate General of Primary and Secondary Education, Ministry of Education and Culture in 2017 including, graduate competency standards, process standards, content standards, assessment standards, education and educational staff standards, facilities and infrastructure standards, standards management and financing standards have been implemented properly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of celebrity endorsement, social media marketing and brand image on the purchase decision of somethinc beauty products at the Pelita Indonesia Institute of Business and Technology. The population in this study was 1,213 female students at the Pelita Indonesia Institute of Business and Technology. Meanwhile the number of samples taken using the slovin formula is 100 people and will be taken using the accidental sampling methods. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear analysis methods with the help of SPSS version 22. Based on the results of the study, it was found that celebrity endorsement and brand image had a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, while social media marketing variables did not have a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions on somethinc beauty products. Suggestions for somethinc brands as ideas to consider in choosing and using celebrity endorsements to promote products, in digital marketing and provide quality products. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa pengaruh celebrity endorsement, social media marketing dan brand image terhadap keputusan pembelian produk kecantikan somethinc di Institut Bisnis dan Teknologi Pelita Indonesia. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 1.213 mahasiswi di Institut Bisnis dan Teknologi Pelita Indonesia. Sedangkan jumlah sampel yang diambil dengan menggunakan rumus slovin berjumlah 100 orang dan akan diambil dengan menggunakan metode accidental sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis linear berganda dengan bantuan SPSS versi 22. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa celebrity endorsement dan brand image berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sedangkan variabel social media marketing tidak berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian pada produk kecantikan somethinc. Saran bagi brand somethinc sebagai ide untuk dipertimbangkan dalam memilih dan menggunakan celebrity endorsement untuk mempromosikan produk, dalam digital marketing serta menyediakan produk yang berkualitas.

Abstract

This study intends to define and analyze the perceived effects of the tax system, tax justice, tax rates, tax audits, and discrimination on tax evasion behavior. Tax Evasion is the dependent variable here. In contrast, the independent variables are the perception of the taxation system, tax justice, tax rates, tax audit, and discrimination. The study has a population consisting of individual taxpayers enlisted at the Depok Sawangan Tax Office. The convenience sampling technique is used to select respondents. This research uses a quantitative method to obtain data from questionnaire instruments. The results of data analysis have been done by utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Tax justice and tax audit had a significant effect on tax evasion behavior, while tax rates, taxation systems, and tax discrimination had no significant effect on tax evasion behavior, according to the study's findings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keterlibatan orang tua dalam pengembangan keterampilan sosial-emosional anak usia dini di RA Perwanida 3 Palembang. Penelitian ini dibuat karena minimnya keterlibatan dan pemahaman orang tua terhadap sosial emosional anak. Penelitian ini melibatkan 10 orang anak dan 10 orang tua serta 2 guru. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua secara aktif, baik di rumah maupun di sekolah, berkontribusi positif terhadap kemampuan anak dalam mengelola emosi dan menjalin hubungan sosial. Kerja sama antara guru dan orang tua menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan anak.

Abstract

Background: During the pandemic, most nurses withdrew/resigned from service (turnover). Objective: The study aimed to analyze the effect of work engagement, perceived organizational support, and organizational culture on the intention to stay of MKK Hospital employees. Method: This quantitative study uses a survey approach to examine the causal effects of work engagement, perceived organizational support, and organizational culture on the intention to stay of employees at MKK Hospital, Jakarta. This study's population was all MKK Jakarta Hospital employees, totaling 418 people. The sample in this study was 213 MKK Hospital employees consisting of nurses. Result: The results showed an effect of work engagement, perceived organizational support, and organizational culture on intention to stay among employees at MKK Hospital. Conclusion: The conclusion showed that work engagement has the most significant influence, followed by organizational culture and perceived organizational support influencing the intention to stay in MKK Hospital employees. Recommendation: This research helps hospital management, especially the Human Resources department, to design programs, formulate strategies and start employee organizational development to strengthen/increase employee retention or intention to stay in hospital employees in Indonesia, especially MKK Hospital
