Abstract

PDAM merupakan perusahaan daerah yang memberikan jasa penyediaan air kepada pelanggan yang membutuhkan. PDAM menyalurkan air ke pelanggan melalui pipa reservoir. PDAM mengecek jumlah penggunaan air pada masing-masing pelanggan setiap bulan dengan mengirimkan petugas ke rumah pelanggan untuk mengecek dan mencatat jumlah penggunaan air melalui meter air. Meter air yang digunakan PDAM masih bersifat analog sehingga pelanggan mengalami kesulitan dalam pembacaan jumlah penggunaan air. Karena cara pengecekan yang masih bersifat manual dan alat yang masih bersifat analog, maka di rancanglah suatu alat yang dapat mengukur penggunaan air secara digital serta dapat mengirimkan data jumlah penggunaan air secara otomatis ke PDAM. Sehingga PDAM dan pelanggan akan lebih mudah mengecek jumlah penggunaan air setiap bulan. Alat ini dirancang menggunakan sensor flow water yang akan mengukur debit air yang mengalir ke pipa reservoir pelanggan dan hasil pengukuran akan diolah oleh mikrokontroller AVR Atmega 8535. Data akan diolah dan ditampilkan pada LCD serta di transmisikan ke PDAM melalui modem GSM. PDAM dan pelanggan dapat mengakses data ini melalui website yang telah disediakan.

Abstract

To support the management of large-scale area potential such as rural spatial planning, Kaligentong Village uses area mapping as an effort in village development planning. The mapping is displayed in paper media which has limited access so that this is inefficient and hinders the Kaligentong Village government in managing the assets and potential contained in it. Therefore, an information system is needed that can monitor the assets and potential of Kaligentong Village in the form of web-based digital maps and android. This study aims to create a dynamic digital mapping of villages for Kaligentong Village so that it is more efficient in finding and managing information related to geographical conditions and potential of Kaligentong Village. The method used is waterfall which consists of the stages of analysis, planning, modeling, construction, and testing. The system is built using javascript leaflets, native PHP, QGIS, and MySQL databases. Based on data from black box testing, the village digital map application runs according to the functional system. The satisfaction rate of application and web users is 94.10%. The average response time per activity generated by the application was 1.44s at 96 Mbps bandwidth and 0.89s at 144 Mbps bandwidth for websites.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented unprecedented challenges to the healthcare sector, particularly frontline healthcare workers. These professionals face high infection risks and physical and mental exhaustion due to intensified workloads and staffing shortages. Robots are seen as a potential solution to this predicament, performing tasks such as delivering supplies and monitoring patients. However, widespread adoption of such robots, particularly in resource-constrained settings, has been hampered by the exorbitant costs associated with their acquisition and maintenance. To address this problem, the authors developed a low-cost nursing robot based on the ESP32 and the Robot Operating System (ROS). This robot facilitates hospital logistics and patient monitoring through telemedicine. The robot is controlled by remote control or Wi-Fi connection through the RViz Graphical User Interface (GUI) and uses odometry and PID control methods to follow specified paths autonomously. Accessible via local area networks and the Internet, the telemedicine system demonstrates robust performance with minimal X and Y axis control errors, zero packet loss, an average Round Trip Delay (RTD) of less than 150 ms, and jitter values of less than 20 ms, in line with TIPHON standards. This innovation provides a cost-effective solution to support healthcare workers during the ongoing health crisis. In future development, incorporating LiDAR, computer vision, and AI-based decision-making into the robot can facilitate obstacle detection and real-time decision-making to enable fully autonomous movement. These advancements will enhance the robot’s adaptability and accuracy in navigation and positioning.

Abstract

Desa Kesongo, adalah salah satu desa yang terletak di kecamatan Tuntang, kabupaten Semarang dengan luas wilayah 965,535 dengan kondisi geografis Desa Kesongo yang memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi desa wisata. Desa Kesongo di Kabupaten Semarang memiliki potensi besar untuk pengembangan ekonomi melalui pariwisata dan usaha mikro, namun masih menghadapi berbagai kendala. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendukung produktivitas Desa Kesongo melalui tiga program utama: penambahan fasilitas wisata camping (glamping) di Taman Wisata Kuliner Daringan, pengadaan alat pengering eceng gondok untuk mendukung UMKM Bengok Craft, dan penyediaan alat pencacah sampah plastik untuk meningkatkan nilai jual sampah anorganik di TPS3R. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan produktivitas desa. Alat pencacah sampah meningkatkan harga jual plastik dari Rp 4.000/kg menjadi Rp 9.000/kg, alat pengering eceng gondok mempersingkat waktu pengeringan dari 2–3 minggu menjadi 1 minggu, dan fasilitas glamping menambah daya tarik wisata dengan paket penginapan dan edukasi. Kendala pada implementasi meliputi renovasi lokasi wisata akibat kerusakan sebelumnya. Program lanjutan akan meliputi alat produksi briket dan biomassa untuk mendukung keberlanjutan energi dan limbah. Upaya ini mendukung Desa Kesongo dalam menuju konsep zero waste dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges surrounding the inefficient use of e-parking applications in Semarang, Indonesia, where issues such as illegal parking and an underperforming digital infrastructure have resulted in lost regional revenue from parking fees. The lack of a robust, user-friendly system has hindered user adoption and limited the application’s effectiveness in managing urban parking. To address these concerns, we developed a modernized e-parking application focused on enhancing usability and system performance. The application design prioritizes intuitive user interaction and seamless integration with existing parking infrastructure. Usability testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS) yielded a score of 80, indicating a high level of user satisfaction and ease of use. In addition, we conducted a comparative analysis of two communication protocols—RESTful and Advanced Message Queuing Protocol (AMQP)—during key application processes, such as vehicle check-in and check-out transactions. Results revealed that AMQP significantly outperformed RESTful in terms of Quality of Service (QoS), particularly with lower response times and minimal packet loss. AMQP consistently met TIPHON standards, achieving a QoS index score of 4, further supporting its suitability for real-time transaction systems in urban environments. This study highlights the critical role of technology optimization in addressing urban mobility issues, reducing illegal parking, and improving public service efficiency. Looking ahead, future development should focus on refining secondary features and introducing new capabilities such as reservation systems, dynamic pricing, and real-time availability tracking to further enhance user engagement and operational effectiveness. The findings emphasize the potential of well-designed e-parking systems to transform urban parking management through smart, scalable technology.
