Abstract

Abstract: Generally the purpose of this study was to determine the influence of viral marketing, celebrity endorser and brand image against consumer buying decisions in Distro RMBL. The population in this research was the whole followers of Distro RMBL’s instagram account and the total sample of this research was 110 respondents. The independent variables were viral marketing, celebrity endorser and brand image whereas the dependent variable in this research was consumer buying decisions and this research measured by using multiple linear regression analysis. This research’s result indicated that viral marketing, celebrity endorser and brand image influent positively and significantly to consumer buying decisions simultantly. Partially, viral marketing influent consumer buying decisions positively and significantly, celebrity endorser influent consumer buying decisions positively and significantly and also brand image influent consumer buying decisions positively and significantly.Keywords: Viral Marketing, Celebrity Endorser and Brand Image

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to deeply explore the cooperation system in paddy farming in Bangsalsari District Jember. This study uses a positivist paradigm with a qualitative method and case study approach. Research informants were collected from the snowball sampling method, consisting of 4 landowners and 4 sharecroppers. The results showed that the cooperation system was manifested in the muzara’ah contract. This study found that the Islamic values implemented in the muzara’ah business practice were consisted of not doing the despotic act, being fair and trustworthy, and implementing profit sharing and halal principles. This study designed a model of business cooperation based on revenue sharing. This study also conducted a financial analysis by calculating the net agricultural income and the value of the revenue sharing for the landowners and the farmers. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the credit's predictive value, the development pattern of credit distribution, and the credit fluctuations of 13 Rural Banks in Jember, influenced by seasonal index variables, credit interest, NPL, LDR, ROA, CAR, and operational efficiency ratio. This study used an explanatory research approach. The sample consisted of all Rural Banks' quarterly financial reports in 2014-2019 taken by a purposive sampling method. Data were analyzed using three methods, i.e., double exponential smoothing, moving average ratio, and multiple linear regression analysis methods. Results showed that, according to each data analysis method, ten Rural Banks experienced increased credit distribution. However, the other three Rural Banks experienced a decrease in credit distribution. The study results also indicated an increasing trend in the development pattern of credit distribution. Meanwhile, the NPL and LDR variables partially influenced credit fluctuations. Keywords: credit prediction, rural bank, seasonal index

Abstract

Jumlah UKM yang menuju pasar internasional di Kabupaten Jember kurang lebih hanya 1% sehingga dibutuhkan penelitian terhadap problematika tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan model distribusi industri kreatif bidang kuliner menuju pasar internasional. Jenis penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif-eksploratif. analisis data menggunakan AHP dan analisis Diagram Tulang Ikan (Fishbone Diagram). Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat beberapa permasalahan dalam rangka menuju pasar internasional pada UKM kuliner yang diwakili oleh UKM Bakso Klenger. UKM Bakso Klenger telah teridentifikasi berdasarkan AHP dan FGD dengan para ahli. selanjutnya ditemukan beberapa penyebab permasalahan menuju pasar internasional menggunakan diagram tulang ikan. Permasalahan utama untuk menuju pasar internasional pada UKM Bakso Klenger adalah pada teknologinya, baik itu dari segi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), Material, dan Metodenya. Model distribusi yang sesuai dengan UKM bidang kuliner yaitu fokus akan maksimalisasi penggunaan teknologi pada berbagai aspek perusahaan meliputi manajemen SDM, material, dan metodenya.

Abstract

The presence of MSME-scale businesses in Indonesia has improved the country's economy, especially during the economic crisis hit, one of which was during the COVID-19 pandemic. This pandemic has also changed the business flow of all business actors, including MSMEs. During the pandemic, all business people who initially only marketed their products conventionally began to take advantage of technological sophistication, especially on social media. The use of social media and technological sophistication is an alternative to develop the existing market potential while making it easier for business actors to find what consumers need. The use of technology is also applied to products produced by MSMEs, one of which is Zayyan Art Design, an MSME actor in the craft sector. One of Zayyan Art's obstacles to running their business is that they can’t use social media to market their products. The purpose of the activities that have been carried out is to help improve skills by increasing the capacity of human resources with a digital perspective. This increase is expected to help increase the number of sales of partner products so that partner problems can be slightly reduced especially in financial problems and an increase in partner income. The method that has been used in this activity is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). This concept is one of the strategies in service activities whose main activity is community development in the form of training and assistance in using technology in marketing for Zayyan Art. The form of training that has been held is in the form of tutorials on making product marketing videos and making digital product catalogs. The results of the service activities that have been carried out are an increase in employee skills in using social media and expanding the market reach of Zayyan Art products.

Abstract

Locus of control and competency are factors that can affect employee performance. Organizational culture is one of the factors that can strengthen or weaken influence so that it acts as a moderating variable. This study aims to determine the influence of Locus of Control and Competence on Employee Performance and the influence of organizational culture in moderating the influence of Locus of Control and Competence on Employee Performance. This research is explanatory research with 42 respondents. Sampling using non-probablity sampling method with purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used is Moderated Regression Analysis. The results showed that Locus of Control and Competence has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Organizational Culture is proven to moderate the influence of Locus of Control on employee performance and moderate the effect of Competence on Employee Performance at Telkomsel Branch Sidoarjo. Implementation of organizational culture in building employee self-management and competence is important in improving employee performance.

Abstract

Companies that are trying to enter the capital market aim to provide a general picture of the company, especially how the company is performing so that it can attract investors to invest their capital. Investors need measurement tools to inform the company's performance in order to get benefits or a profitable rate of return. This study aims to analyze the effect of Economic Value Added (EVA) and Market Value Added (MVA) on stock returns in pharmaceutical sub-sector companies. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research using a positivist paradigm. The population used is manufacturing companies in the pharmaceutical sub-sector with sampling using purposive sampling method to obtain samples that can represent the research criteria in order to obtain 8 companies that have met the specified criteria. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of the analysis, it is found that EVA (Economic Value Added) has no effect on stock returns, while MVA (Market Value Added) has an effect on stock returns of pharmaceutical manufacturing companies listed on the IDX for the 2015 – 2019 period.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of financial ratios on firm value in infrastructure, utility, and transportation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research data is secondary data (pooling data) obtained from the financial statements of companies in the infrastructure, utilities, and transportation sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2016-2020 period. The research method used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The population in this study consisted of infrastructure, utility, and transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique and obtained as many as 40 companies according to the criteria. The test results show that the activity ratio (TATO) at alpha 5% has a significant effect on firm value (PBV) and the leverage ratio (DAR) at alpha 1% has a significant effect on firm value (PBV). While the liquidity ratio (Cash Ratio) and profitability ratio (ROE) have no significant effect on firm value (PBV).

Abstract

Pertumbuhan sektor UMKM menjadi perhatian pemerintah karena merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan pembangunan Indonesia. Tantangan terbesar yang dihadapi UMKM dalam pengembangan usahanya adalah pemasaran dan peningkatan nilai jual produknya. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman pentingnya digital marketing dalam mempromosikan produk UMKM dan meningkatkan kualitas pengemasan produk UMKM. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Metode pelatihan digunakan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana peran digital marketing dalam mempromosikan produk UMKM. Sedangkan metode pendampingan dilaksanakan dalam rangka praktek pemasaran digital dan peningkatan pengemasan produk UMKM. Khalayak sasaran pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah pelaku UMKM di Desa Tegal Besar Kecamatan Kaliwates Kabupaten Jember. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan kualitas kegiatan pemasaran dan kualitas pengemasan produk UMKM, khususnya UMKM Kacang Telur Safia Jember. Secara umum kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan ini berjalan lancar, dimana peserta yaitu pelaku UMKM mendengarkan masing-masing tim pelaksana dengan antusias sehingga kegiatan ini berhasil dilaksanakan tanpa kendala yang berarti. Abstract

BUMDES merupakan salah satu program pemerintah untuk pemberdayaan dan kemajuan ekonomi lokal. Tantangan terbesar BUMDES adalah terbatasnya pengembangan usaha dan penguatan manajemen. Permasalahan objek pengabdian ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman mitra terkait manajemen usaha dan strategi pemasaran digital. Pelaku bisnis belum memahami urgensi manajemen bisnis digital dalam jangka panjang. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan penjualan produk unggulan desa menampu melalui BUMDES Jaya abadi dengan meningkatkan pemahaman terkait manajemen bisnis digital sebagai upaya percepatan pencapaian SDGs Desa. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Hasil pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan pelaku bisnis di bawah naungan Bumdes Jaya Abadi terkait digital marketing.
