Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal warna melalui metode eksperimen pada anak usia 3-4 tahun di KB Pertiwi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan secara kolaboratif antara peneliti dengan guru kelas. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus dan setiap siklusnya dilaksanakan 3 kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 15 anak di KB Pertiwi yang terdiri dari 7 anak laki-laki dan 8 anak perempuan. Objek penelitian adalah kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal warna. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan dokumentasi. Instrument yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi (check list) dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal warna. Hasil observasi pada pra tindakan menunjukkan bahwa anak yang berkriteria berkembang sesuai harapan ada 2 orang atau 13%. Pada siklus 1 meningkat menjadi 4 orang atau 27% dan siklus 2 meningkat lagi menjadi 10 anak atau 66,7%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dalam mengenal warna pada anak usia 3-4 tahun di KB Pertiwi.

Abstract

This study was aimed at investigating the improvement of EFL learners? achievement in writing descriptive paragraph in Indonesia. Therefore, the moethodology conducted in this study was action research. The techniques of collecting data were documentation (writing test) and questionnaire for quantitative data, and observation and interview for the qualitative data. The result shows that the score mean of EFL learners was improved from cycle 1 to cycle 2 which was 66.28 to 87.00 respectively. Furthermore, the result of questionnaire shows that most of EFL learners were very interested and enjoying learning writing by using realia. Moreover, from the observation and interview, EFL learners said that realia is very good and enjoyable to improve their achievements in descriptive writing. Therefore, relia should be implemented to teach English in Indonesia not only to teaching writing but also to teach other skills such as listening, speaking and reading

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) hubungan Minat Belajar dengan Prestasi Belajar Akuntansi, 2) hubungan Sikap Siswa terhadap Mata Pelajaran Akuntansi dengan Prestasi Belajar Akuntansi, 3) hubungan Minat Belajar dan Sikap Siswa terhadap Mata Pelajaran Akuntansi secara bersama-sama dengan Prestasi Belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK YPKK I Sleman Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012.Penelitian ini dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai penelitian ex-post facto dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK YPKK I Sleman Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012 berjumlah 68 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini responden berjumlah 68 siswa sehingga penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Mei-Juni 2012. Data dikumpulkan dengan metode dokumentasi dan kuesioner (angket). Uji validitas instrument menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment dan uji reliabilitas instrument menggunakan rumus koefisien alpha. Sebelum dilakukan analisis data terlebih dahulu diadakan pengujian prasyarat analisis yang meliputi uji linieritas dan uji multikolinieritas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi sederhana dan korelasi ganda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat: 1). Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan Minat Belajar dengan Prestasi Belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK YPKK I Sleman Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012, dibuktikan koefisien korelasi rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel dengan n=68 pada taraf signifikansi 5% (0,510 > 0,239), 2). Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan Sikap Siswa terhadap Mata Pelajaran Akuntansi dengan Prestasi Belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK YPKK I Sleman Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012, dibuktikan koefisien korelasi rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel dengan n=68 pada taraf signifikansi 5% (0,515 > 0,239), 3). Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan Minat Belajar dan Sikap Siswa terhadap Mata Pelajaran Akuntansi secara bersama-sama dengan Prestasi Belajar Akuntansi siswa kelas X Program Keahlian Akuntansi SMK YPKK I Sleman Tahun Ajaran 2011/2012, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari Koefisien Korelasi (R) sebesar 55,5% dan harga Fhitung sebesar 14,499 dengan probabilitas sebesar 0,000 serta Ftabel dengan n=68 pada taraf signifikansi 5% sebesar 3,14. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa harga Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (14,499 > 3,14) dan nilai probabilitas Fhitung lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05).Kata Kunci: Prestasi Belajar Akuntansi, Minat Belajar dan Sikap Siswa.

Abstract

Pembelajaran materi pelajaran IPA menuntut keterlibatan aktif siswa. Guru harus kreatif menciptakan strategi ataupun pendekatan yang sesuai agar penyajian bahan pelajaran IPA menjadi lebih menarik, mudah diterima siswa dan menimbulkan minat yang mendasari siswa untuk belajar. Pendekatan keterampilan proses memberikan beberapa aktivitas yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif baik fisik maupun mental intelektual siswa. Kegiatan belajar yang aktif dan menarik dalam pendekatan keterampilan proses menjadi salah satu faktor yang dapat menimbulkan minat dalam diri siswa untuk belajar IPA.

Abstract

Abstrak - Pembelajaran tentang pengenalan hewan yang digunakan untuk anak sekolah dasar Kelas IV dalam pelajaran IPA saat ini masih menggunakan gambar 2 dimensi di mana Penghayatan tentang materi kurang sempurna, karena media gambar 2 dimensi hanya menampilkan persepsi indera mata yang tidak cukup kuat untuk menggerakkan seluruh kepribadian manusia, sehingga materi yang akan dibahas kurang sempurna. Gambar atau foto hewan yang terlalu kompleks menjadikannya kurang efektif untuk kegiatan pembelajaran. Dari masalah di atas penulis memberikan solusi dengan memanfaatkan teknologi saat ini yang berkembang pesat maka diambilah salah satu teknologi yang berkembang dalam hal visual 3D yaitu Augmented Reality. Sehingga Materi yang disajikan berupa pengenalan jenis-jenis hewan untuk anak sekolah dasar menjadi media pembelajaran yang interaktif dimana cara belajar yang memadukan antara kesenangan dan belajar maka dari itu akan muncul motivasi untuk lebih ingin mengetahui tentang gambar yang dijelaskan dan gurupun dapat menyampaikan materi dengan optimal melalui media gambar tersebut. Dari hasil analisa, perancangan, pengujian dan implementasi program dapat disimpulkan aplikasi menangkap marker pada jarak 25CM untuk menampilkan objek 3D dari marker tersebut dan Sudut kemiringan yang masih terjangkau oleh aplikasi yang dibuat ketika marker telah ditangkap kamera ialah , Ketika kamera siap mengenali marker dan menampilkan Objek 3D, kamera sistem harus dalam keadaan cahaya terang agar marker dapat dikenali, Dalam mengenali marker tingkat keakuratan tergantung pada rating bintang pada Database Marker, setelah melakukan percobaan rating bintang pada Database Marker minimal 4 bintang, Respon Objek 3D dalam mengenali marker pada sistem yang penulis buat sekitar lebih dari 1 detik setelah kamera siap.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the implementation of strengthening character education at the Vocational High School in Bengkulu. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The study population was 156 students, and the study sample used a random sampling sample of 75 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis techniques using percentage analysis. The results showed the application of strengthening of character education  Vocational High Schools in Bengkulu; in general, the level has implemented with functional categories with a level of accomplishment reaching 75.4%. Specifically, the religious character value is good (78%), the nationalist is good (74%), independent is good (72%), cooperation is good (77%), and integrity is good (76%). It means that the strengthening of character education consists of religious, nationalist, independent, cooperation, and integrity values carried out by teachers and students according to school programs

Abstract

Language transfer is one of the important areas in second language acquisition research. This study aims to describe the process of transfer L1, Bahasa Indonesia, cognitive skills to L2, English, cognitive skills of dependent scripts. Cognitive skills are the skills that support decoding, such as rapid automatized naming (RAN) and working memory (WM). This research was conducted with descriptive qualitative research design, with case study.  The subjects of the study were 15 students who speak Bahasa as the first language (L1) and learn English as the second language (L2). Bahasa and English are the language which have the same scripts, dependent scripts. The subjects were given the rapid automatized naming (RAN) test and working memory (WM) test. The data of this study was analyzed with two data analysis techniques, they were non-parametric statistics and qualitative data analysis. The finding of this study was that there was no significantly transfer of cognitive skills from L1, Bahasa, to L2, English. It can be seen from the process of transfer RAN and WM as the subskills, that most of the students made different errors both in L1 and L2 RAN and WM, and they have different levels of achievement in L1 and L2 cognitive skills.

Abstract

The study is concerned with the way the writer explores The Use of Processes as Reflected in Woman Portrayals in Batak Toba Songs Lyrics. How the use processes linguistically represented and the reason of processes realization as it is. The research method used in this paper is qualitative research and based on Halliday Theory use in the types of process. There were 244 clauses of process from the 15 song of Batak Toba. The findings of this research showed that six types of process. it implied that songs in Batak Toba expressed that Mental Process is the dominant type as 38, 6 % from the 94 clauses is found. It implied that the woman portrayals in Batak Toba song expressed what the feel with the sensing which covering thinking, feeling and emotions which happened inside human being. It related to the relational process that cause of the value of woman in the Batak Toba song lyric with the identification of the position woman portrayals. Keywords: Process, Six Types of Processes, Woman Portrayals

Abstract

This study aimed to reveal and explain politeness in using simalungunese personal subject pronouns by trying to find out the type mostly used, the way and the reason of people in Galang City using it. This study was qualitatively conducted that taken 35 people of Galang City as respondent/participant. The data was collected by using questionnaire paper. The findings of this study showed that Simalungunese Personal Subject Pronouns people in Galang City mostly used were First Personal Subject Pronouns Ahu/au with 130 times chosen (46%), Second Personal Subject Pronouns Ham/Handian/Nassiam with 159 times chosen  (57%), Third Personal Subject Pronouns Ia/Sidea with 128 times chosen (46%). The ways of people in Galang City using Simalungunese Personal Subject determine by gender, Situation, Age, and Familiarity. The reason of people in Galang city using Simalungunese personal subject pronouns were making no distance/gap, adapting the situation, knowing the rule of communication, learning from family. The findings of this study revealed that four parameters of politeness influenced chosen of pronouns, and the use of Simalungunese Personal Subject pronouns itself influenced the level of politeness. Keywords : Politeness , Simalungunese , Personal Pronouns
