Abstract

The objective of this research are to produces a genetics substance interactive slide media that feasible theoretically. Theoretical feasibility got from a validation media. This research is a development research especially slide interactive development based on Ms. Power Point. The data was collected by using media and materi sheet validation. The results of this research is a genetics substance interactive slide media was feasible theoretically. Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated food security and stunting problems in villages, especially in Gonggang Village. Therefore, strategic efforts are needed to increase food security through the use of yard land as an alternative food source. The purpose of this service activity is to empower the village community in optimizing yard land to prevent stunting and increase food security. This service activity was carried out with a participatory approach for seven months, through training, coaching, and field practicum. This activity involved students from the Department of Midwifery and Environmental Health to support the community in managing yard land. The results of the activity showed that as many as 50% of the target partners succeeded in using their yards so that they became a source of food, and 100% of Posyandu cadres showed increased competence in early detection of the growth and development of toddlers. In addition, there was an increase in community participation in Posyandu with an achievement of more than 90%. Active community involvement in the program is essential, with support from governments, non-governmental agencies, and local communities, contributing to the program's success. The outputs of this program include activity videos, journal publications, and IPR (copyright), which is expected to be a reference for similar programs in the future. The conclusion of this activity is that the use of yard land as an alternative food source has proven to be effective in increasing food security and preventing stunting in Gonggang Village. This program shows the importance of collaboration between various parties to achieve common goals in community empowerment.

Abstract

Tumbuhnya jumlah UMKM dipercaya mampu menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan, pengurangan pengangguran dan dapat membantu dalam hal pemberantasan kemiskinan masyarakat. Namun saat ini masih banyak UMKM terutama di Kelurahan Tambaksari Kota Surabaya masih terkendala pada hal keterbatasan dana untuk memproduksi produk jadi mereka secara masal, padahal potensi untuk berkembang sangat besar. Kendala lainnya adalah bagaimana menarik calon konsumen dengan melakukan digitaliasi pada setiap aktivitas UMKM. Kendala keterbasan dana tersebut sebenarnya bisa diantisipasi dengan adanya program pemerintah yaitu berupa KUR atau pinjaman lunak dari perbankan atau lembaga keuangan sebagai bentuk dukungan pemerintah dalam mengembangkan UMKM. Sedangkan dalam beberapa waktu terakhir, perkembangan teknologi digital terjadi sangat pesat termasuk dalam sistem pembayaran. Masyarakat sebagai konsumen mulai terbiasa menggunakan pembayaran digital. Para pelaku usaha dengan ini dituntut untuk mampu memfasilitasi proses transaksi tersebut. Namun, tidak semua pelaku usaha dapat secara cepat mengikuti trend penggunaan pembayaran digital. UMKM yang menjadi tulang punggung perekonomian tidak jarang memiliki kendala dan keterbatasan dalam mengadopsi suatu teknologi karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan sumber daya. Sosialisasi pada pemanfaatan KUR dan QRIS dilaksanakan pada tanggal 29 Juni 2024. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mendapat tanggapan yang positif bahwa kegiatan ini bermanfaat untuk UMKM bahwa KUR dan QRIS mampu membantu UMKM dalam meningkatkan kinerja operasional UMKM.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in employee performance based on the Big Five Personality with Self-Efficacy as a mediating aspect. This research is included in the type of explanatory research. This research was conducted on Gemilang Putra & Co employees located in Jember, East Java. The object of this research is the Big Five Personality, Self-Efficacy, and Employee Performance. Sources of data in this study were obtained through the company's internal data. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The population in this study were 30 employees and the sampling technique used was saturated sampling, so that all members of the population could be used as research samples because the respondents were less than 30 employees. The tests used in this research are validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistical analysis, path analysis, path assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that the Big Five Personality has a significant effect on Self-Efficacy, the Big Five personality has a significant effect on employee performance, Self-Efficacy has a significant effect on employee performance, and the Big Five Personality mediated by Self-Efficacy has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to analyze how openness to experience and learning goal orientation influence paradoxical leader behavior and the mediating effect of paradoxical leader behavior and the moderating effect of psychological capital on follower performance. Design/methodology/approach: This research is a quantitative research, using PLS-SEM data analysis. The sampling method uses purposive sampling. The respondents were 102 lecturers and administrative staff at universities who had subordinates. Questionnaires were distributed to collect data Findings: Significant results were shown by openness to experience on paradox leader behavior, as well as learning goal orientation on paradoxical leader behavior and learning goal orientation on follower performance. The results showed that paradoxical leader behavior neither did mediate openness to experience nor learning goal orientation on follower performance, Meanwhile, insignificant results were also shown by openness to experience on follower performance, and paradoxical leader behavior on follower performance. In addition, there was no moderating effect of psychological capital on paradoxical leader behavior on follower performance. Research limitations/implications: This study has limitations, as the population in this study only came from private universities in Indonesia. Future research could be expanded to include public universities or other demographic groups/sectors and adding other variables to deepen understanding of the relationship between these variables. Practical implications: The results of the study indicate that leaders and foundations at private universities need to develop a culture and create a work environment through rules and policies that emphasize learning goal orientation and openness to experience to encourage adaptive paradoxical leadership behavior. Employees who understand paradoxical leader behavior can see conflicting and competing demands as phenomena in the organization and can integrate various demands so that the contradictions between them can be productive. Originality/value: This research contributes to the implementation of Paradox Theory and Personality Traits in influencing the performance of subordinates among lecturers at private universities in Indonesia. This represents a research gap and is interesting because there is not much research on this topic. Paper Type: This article is a research paper examining the influence of openness to experience and learning goal orientation on paradoxical leader behavior, the mediating effect of paradoxical leader behavior, and the moderating effect of psychological capital on follower performance.
