Abstract

Lecture courses in the English Language Education Study Program of STKIP Setiabudhi Rangkasbitung are still conducted in face-to-face class, so the students who do not attend lectures cannot know the pronunciation material at that time, because the Pronunciation course is a practical course in the English pronunciation system. The E-Learning Pronunciation is built so that lectures can be carried out anywhere and anytime without reducing the quality of the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the students who are left behind can continue to follow the Pronunciation course material, as well as habituating students in utilizing communication and information technology. E-Learning Pronunciation is important to be built to improve the ability of students’ pronunciation when doing distance learning, so that students are clearer and more firm in understanding Pronunciation so that there are no errors in English pronunciation. Participants in this study were first semester students of English education study programs. This study uses an experimental research design with the Prototype System development method and system of testing uses Black box testing.

Abstract

Latar Belakang  - Pengelolaan ulkus kaki diabetik dapat dilakukan secara farmakologis dan nonfarmakologis. Latihan jasmani seperti senam kaki diabetik sebagai salah satu penatalaksanaan nonfarmakologis dilakukan  untuk mengaktivasi pembuluh darah agar sirkulasi darah ke area luka meningkat sehingga mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka kaki diabetik. Selain sirkulasi  darah yang baik, proses penyembuhan  luka juga membutuhkan  oksigenasi yang adekuat. Olahraga  pernafasan  dalam  merupakan  gabungan  dari  latihan  fisik  dan  nafas  dalam  yang  bermanfaat  untuk meningkatkan sirkulasi dan oksigenasi sehingga perfusi jaringan luka meningkat.Tujuan - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbedaan tingkat perfusi jaringan perifer ulkus kaki diabetik sebelum dan sesudah olahraga pernafasan dalam di Ruang Wijaya Kusuma RSUD dr. R. Soeprapto Cepu. Metoda   -  Desain  penelitian  menggunakanquasy eksperimen  dengan  rancangan  pretest  –  posttest  menggunakan kelompok kontrol. Indikator yang dipakai untuk menilai status perfusi jaringan adalah skor ABI (Ankle Brachial Index) yang diukur dengan sphygmomanometer. Sampel terdiri dari 32 responden terbagi dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol yang diambil dengan teknik consecutive sampling. Hasil–Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwaskor ABI posttestpada kelompok intervensi memiliki nilai rerata lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kontrol yaitu 0.92 berbanding 0.85 dan secara statistik bermakna (p = 0,001). Simpulan - Disimpulkan bahwa olahraga pernafasan dalam dapat meningkatkan status perfusi jaringan perifer ulkus kaki diabetik. Disarankan olahraga pernafasan dalam dapat menjadi pilihan untuk memberikan intervensi keperawatan kepada penderita ulkus kaki diabetik sebagai sarana membantu mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jumlah produktivitas dermaga barat dan dermaga utara pada PT, Jakarta International Container Terminal. Pada terminal petikemas Jakarta International Container Terminal khususnya di dermaga barat dan dermaga utara, kedua dermaga tersebut mempunyai beberapa fasilitas untuk kegiatan proses bongkar muat. pada tahun 2007 di dermaga barat total teus hanya 4% dan di dermaga utara mencapai 16%, pada tahun berikutnya yaitu tahun 2008 di dermaga barat 8.5% dan di dermaga utara mencapai 16.5%. pada tahun 2009 dermaga barat hanya mencapai 0.26%dan dermaga utara mencapai 7.2%.Dari hasil osbervasi di lapangan dalam proses kegiatan bongkar muat faktor yang menyebabkan perbedaan produktivitas pada dermaga barat dan dermaga utara yaitu adanya alat bongkar muat yang tidak dapat beroperasi., kedalaman kolam yang dangkal di dermaga barat sehingga hanya kapa-kapal yang muatannya sedikit yang bisa melakukan bongkar muat didermaga itu. QCC yang usianya sudah lama sehingga dalam melakukan bongkar muat memakan waktu lama.

Abstract

The semantic analysis attempts to define and completely comprehend the word’s meaning. The purpose of this study was to delve into the types of lexical relations in verbal humor and investigate the humor styles of the American sitcom The Office. This study used a qualitative design to collect data on verbal humor. The findings revealed that The Office frequently uses homonym, polysemy, hyponym, antonym and synonym in the construction of humor and potentially creates a humorous effect. Additionally, the humor style of the sitcom is sarcastic humor. It can be concluded that linguistically the use of homonym, polysemy, hyponym, antonym and synonym in the punchline provides an amusing effect and generates a comical situation. On the other hand, it also creates an ambiguity effect which results in a double interpretation of certain jokes due to the multiple meanings of a single word.

Abstract

The advancement of information and communication technology (ICT) has big effects on human life in many facets, one of them is in education. However, the use of this technology left some problems faced by its users. Therefore, this study aims to explore in-depth the kindergarten student parents’ perception of the use of WhatsApp in the teaching and learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The study employed the exploratory study which engaged twenty-nine students’ parents in Lebak - Indonesia where online learning using WhatsApp was implemented. Then, six participants were voluntarily involved in the interview. The questionnaire and semi-structured interview were administered in collecting the data. The data from the questionnaire were analyzed in percentage while the content analysis technique was used in analyzing the data from the semi-structured interview. From the data analysis, this study reveals two major research findings. Firstly, the use of WhatsApp helped students in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic and physical distancing, establishes student and teacher communication, Secondly, technical problems were found such as unstable internet connection, student-teacher communication and interaction are not maximized, and lastly, after a long period, the students got bored. In brief, the use of WhatsApp can be used as an alternative teaching platform in the COVID-19 age on the one hand, on the other hand, its’ usage faced barriers such as unstable internet connection.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out whether there is an impact of topic interest on EFL incidental vocabulary acquisition or not. The sample of this research consist of 39 students, 19 students in experimental class and 20 students in control class. The method used in this research was quantitative with Quasi- Experimental design. The data was analyzed by using SPSS 26.0. The result showed that there was an impact of topic interest on EFL incidental vocabulary acquisition. It was proved by the t count value higher than t-table value (-13.419 < -1.734). Thus, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The result of the pre-test mean value for the experimental class is 78.94, while the mean of post-test is 91.84. Therefore, the mean value of students increased 12.9.

Abstract

Social science learning through the use of local wisdom values is an effort to instil a sense of concern for others, broaden knowledge about the nation's culture, and is part of an effort to minimize the negative impacts of globalization which cannot be avoided. his study aims to explore the traditions of indigenous communities as teaching materials for high school social studies in the Kasepuhan Adat Cibadak village - Lebak. This study uses a qualitative method and a phenomenological approach. The participants of this study are traditional leaders (Kasepuhan) and members of the indigenous people who live in Kasepuhan Adat Cibadak. The data were obtained from interview, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the data findings, the study reveals that there are well-maintained traditions in this area such as Kabendon, Sedekah Bumi, Ujungan, Mapag pare nyiram, and pantangan. These traditions of indigenous people in Kasepuhan adat Cibadak Warungbanten can be used as materials or sources of social science learning. Therefore, Social Science teachers should think creatively in presenting teaching materials for Social Science subjects at schools.
