Abstract

The aim of the research was to determine the improvement of mathematical problem solving skills through the power of two learning strategies at grade VIII of SMP N 1 Rokan IV Koto. Quasi Eksperimental research used Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population of the research was entire student grade VIII of SMP N 1 Rokan IV Koto.Random sampling technique used to selecting the sample. The power of two learning strategies used at the experimental class and traditional learning strategies used the control class. The instrument that used in this research was test. Before analysing the data, prequisite analysis was needed. The normality of data was calculated through Lilliefors. The result showed the data were not normaly distributed. Then, Mann Whitney was used to test. The hypotesis it was found zobserved = 3.586 and ztable = 2.24. It means zobserved> ztabel, H0 was rejected. It can be concluded that there was an improvement of mathematical problem solving skill through the power of two learning strategies at grade VIII of SMP N 1 Rokan IV Koto.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematical problem solving ability of students where the learning process is still teacher-centered which causes students to become passive, so an appropriate learning model is needed in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of differences in the use of the ECIRR and PQ4R learning models on mathematical problem solving abilities in terms of students' self-efficacy. The method used in this research is Quasi Experimental Design. The population in this study were seventh grade students of SMP Darul Ulum Sekampung. Sampling using Cluster Random Sampling. It was obtained that class VII.2 as the experimental class 1 used the ECIRR model, class VII.1 as the experimental class 2 used the PQ4R model, and class VII.3 as the control class used the Direct Instruction model with fractional material. Data collection techniques using tests, questionnaires, and documentation. Hypothesis testing using a two-way ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) test of unequal cells with a significance level of 5%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that (1) there was an effect of differences in the use of the ECIRR learning model, the PQ4R learning model, and the Direct Instruction model on mathematical problem solving abilities, (2) there was an effect of mathematical problem solving abilities among students who had high self-efficacy, moderate , and low, and (3) there is no interaction between the ECIRR and PQ4R learning models with self efficacy on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Saat ini BMT makin dilirik, bukan saja karena tanggungjawab keislaman dalam mengembangkan dakwah islamiyah di Indonesia, namun disaat pasar modal lesu, LKMS inipun jadi alternatif, apalagi BMT sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat untuk mendorong sektor riil.Perkembangan BMT yang begitu pesat tergambar dari telah tergabungnya 3200 lebih BMT dalam Absindo (Asosiasi BMT Seluruh Indonesia). Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengaruh motivasi dan pengalaman kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) di Provinsi Riau. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan/pengelola dari 5 unit BMT yang ada di propinsi Riau, sedangkan sampel berjumlah 40 orang karyawan BMT Provinsi Riau. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling sensus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) di Provinsi Riau, pengalaman kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) di Provinsi Riau, motivasi dan pengalaman kerja secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) di Provinsi Riau.

Abstract

Pemahaman terkait uang merupakan bekal yang sangat penting di dunia pendidikan tak terkecuali pada anak usia dini atau sekolah dasar. Pemahaman keuangan merupakan bekal yang sangat penting untuk mereka miliki ketika memasuki usia produktif. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dalam rangka meningkatkan literasi keuangan sejak dini dilakukan dengan dua metode. Metode pertama melalui kegiatan ceramah, yakni pemberian pengajaran pengelolaan keuangan yang sederhana Metode kedua adalah melalui metode gamifikasi, yakni Tim Dosen Prodi Perbankan Syariah Fakultas Studi Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau bersama mahasiswa akan bersama –sama belajar dan bermain Bersama. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan nilai uang kepada murid Tadika. Murid juga diajarkan cara mengelola uang, melihatkan produk buatan Malaysia, menjelaskan dampak makanan instant dan juga budaya antri ketika hendak membayar belanjaan yang telah mereka pilih. Tak hanya itu, murid pun diberikan kesempatan mencoba berbagai macam jenis buah, coklat dan makanan buatan AEON. Kata Kunci: Literasi Keuangan, Pembentukan Karakte, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Religiusitas dan Kepuasan Kerja terhadap Kinerja Amil Zakat di Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) Provinsi Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 35 responden yang merupakan amil zakat di BAZNAS Provinsi Riau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas dan kepuasan kerja secara signifikan memengaruhi kinerja amil zakat. Religiusitas memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap motivasi kerja yang berdampak pada peningkatan produktivitas, sementara kepuasan kerja meningkatkan loyalitas dan efisiensi kerja. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing variabel yaitu 0,243. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,621 menunjukkan bahwa variabel religiusitas dan kepuasan kerja secara keseluruhan berpengaruh sebesar 62,1% terhadap kinerja sedangkan sisanya 0,37,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya membangun lingkungan kerja yang mendukung religiusitas dan memberikan kepuasan kerja yang optimal untuk meningkatkan kinerja amil zakat

Abstract

The research aims to analyze and describe the learning interestts of class VII students at SMP Negeri 5 Rambah Samo. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this research are class VII students consisting of two classes totaling 40 students who were determined using the saturated sampling method. Data collection tecniques used questionnaires and interviews. Student learning interest in terms of the indicator of feeling happy was in the quite interested category with a percentage of 70.63%. Students learning interest in terms of the student’s attention indicator was in the quite interested category with a percentage of 70.34%. Students are in the quite interested category with a percentage of 72.38%. Students learning interest in terms of indicators of student involvement is in the very high category with a percentage of 75.05%. So the results of overall student interest in learning are in the quite interested category with a percentage of 72.08%.

Abstract

A learning can run well supported by an appropriate learning model. In this study the Search Solve Create Share (SSCS) and Think Pair Share (TPS) learning models are used. This research is a quantitative study using t test. The purpose of this study is to study whether there are differences between the SSCS learning model and the TPS learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is a quantitative study with a research design. Random Design Group Pretest-Posttest Group. The results of this study obtained a P-value smaller than the significance level. Hypothesis testing from this study provides conclusions about the TPS learning model better than the SSCS learning model in improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract

Ramadan is a holy and blessed month for Muslims. During this month, Muslims are obligated to fast from dawn until sunset. In addition, Ramadan provides an opportunity for Muslims to strengthen their faith and piety as well as to enhance social bonds with others. In an effort to enhance faith, piety, and social connectedness, we took the initiative to organize the “Kampung Ramadan” (Ramadan Village) program. Community service activities are an integral part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which demands the active contribution of academic institutions in addressing real-world social issues. Kampung Ramadan, initiated by the Faculty of Islamic Studies at Universitas Muhammadiyah Riau, is a concrete form of spiritually and socially based service during the holy month. Through an interdisciplinary approach presented in a talk show entitled "Mental Health in the Perspective of Psychology, Economics, and Education," this activity aims to provide enlightenment and spiritual-mental reinforcement for the community. In addition, the distribution of zakat and collective worship further strengthens the values of Islamic brotherhood (ukhuwah islamiyah), social solidarity, and the quality of religious observance. This article presents a systematic review of the implementation of the program, the values it embodies, and its overall impact on both the community and the institution.
