Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Faktor Kerusakan Koleksi Bahan Pustaka dan Cara Penanganannya di SMP Mardisiswa 1 Semarang. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui koleksi bahan pustaka yang rusak, untuk mengetahui jenis kerusakan koleksi bahan pustaka yang ada, untuk mengetahui upaya-upaya pencegahan kerusakan koleksi bahan pustaka, dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana cara penanganan kerusakan koleksi bahan pustaka yang ada di perpustakaan SMP Mardisiswa 1 Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Adapun subjek penelitian yang dijadikan sumber dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 2 (dua) informan petugas perpustakaan dan kepala perpustakaan. Jenis dan sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sumber data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan 3 (tiga) sumber yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis Lexy J. Moleong. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan para informan bahwa dapat mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor kerusakan koleksi bahan pustaka dan cara penanganannya di SMP Mardisiswa 1 Semarang. Saran yang diajukan yaitu perlunya menambahkan tenaga professional bidang preservasi, pengadaan fasilitas sarana dan prasarana seperti mesin penjilidan, mesin laminasi agar tetap terjaga keawetan koleksi bahan pustaka, pemasangan AC dan vacuum cleaner

Abstract

Learning motivation is a key factor in improving individual learning outcomes. This article explains various strategies and factors that can help raise motivation to learn, including recognizing achievements, providing clear goals, creating a supportive learning environment, and using relevant and interesting learning approaches. Apart from that, this article also highlights the important role of parents, teachers and the social environment in shaping students' learning motivation. With a deep understanding of these factors, individuals can effectively increase their level of learning motivation, which in turn can lead to better learning outcomes and long-term success in education. In learning, of course, there are many obstacles that cause children's motivation to learn to decrease. As felt by the residents of Ranah Batahan West Pasaman, there are problems regarding learning, including: 1) Lack of guidance from parents, 2) Limited electronic media to support children's learning, 3) Lack of basic knowledge in education for children, 4) Lack of psychological aspects from within the child who helps in learning activities. In this case, the Field Work Lecture activity provides a tutoring program as the main program which aims to help with existing problems. The method used in this research is community education. All children who take part in tutoring can be helped in the learning process and develop motivation to learn. This can be seen from the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of the children who take part in learning activities.

Abstract

Literature is a work created in the form of imaginative fiction which is the existence can be useful for other things. This study explore how the film Parasite, directed by Using qualitative analysis, the research examines key scenes about disparities in areas like living conditions, food, clothing, and even smell, revealing the effects of economic inequality on everyday life and relationships. Bong Joon-ho, portrays social class differences through the lives of two families—the wealthy Parks and the struggling Kims. Through these scenes, Parasite shows the complexities of class structures and how they shape people’s perceptions and interactions. The study offers insights into how films like Parasite can help viewers understand social issues, contributing to educational discussions on class and society. This analysis, in turn, supports English education by using film as a way to explore and discuss themes of inequality, making it a valuable resource for understanding social dynamics in both academic and cultural situation.

Abstract

This study explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is being used in learning English and looks at its benefits and challenges. AI tools like chatbots, personalized learning apps, and language processing software are helping students practice English by giving quick feedback and adapting to each learner's pace. These tools improve skills in speaking, listening, and writing. However, there are still some challenges, such as AI's difficulty understanding cultural situation, limited access to AI in some areas, privacy concerns, and the risk of students relying too much on technology instead of human interactions. This study use literature research to describe AI improve English learning, opportunities and challenges in using AI. This review showed that AI can make the future of English learning, helping teachers, policymakers, and researchers understand both its potential and its limits. By using AI students has great potential to improve language, so It’s important to implement it thoughtfully to ensure it complements traditional teaching and creates an inclusive environment for all students.

Abstract

This study examines the use of figurative language in the lyrics of Ariana Grande’s song Intro (End of the World), focusing on how these devices contribute to the emotional depth and thematic complexity of the song. These linguistic tools are shown to reflect the singer's emotional struggles and uncertainties about romantic relationships, particularly her doubts about love and commitment. The study highlights how figurative language serves not only to enhance the meaning of the song but also to engage listeners on an emotional level, allowing them to relate to themes of vulnerability, existential questioning, and relational insecurity. The findings emphasize the power of figurative language in music as a means of conveying complex emotions and establishing a connection with the audience. By analyzing the song’s lyrics, this research identifies and classifies various forms of figurative language, They are rhetorical questions, repetition, hyperbole, metaphor, personification, and ambiguity
