Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar PKN melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing kelas VII.1 SMP Negeri 5 Tebing Tinggi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan model Kemmis dan Mc.Taggart. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.1 SMP Negeri 5 yang berjumlah 38 siswa, terdiri dari 18 siswa laki–laki dan 20 siswa perempuan. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil tes meningkat dari 70,67 menjadi 75,20. Siswa yang memiliki nilai ≥ 85 sebanyak 5 siswa, berarti dari 4 siswa meningkat menjadi 5 orang siswa dari 30 (13,33% menjadi16,667%), siswa yang memiliki 70- 80 sebanyak 21 orang yang berarti meningkat dari 16 siswa menjadi 21 siswa dari 30 siswa(meningkat dari 53,33% menjadi 70%), dan yang masih di bawah nilai 70 sebanyak 4 siswa dari 30 siswa (13,33%). Abstract

Background: Pictorial health warning on cigarette packs has been implemented since 2014, but smokers in Indonesia increase every years. Pictorial health warning on cigarette packs must be continuously evaluated regarding its effectiveness in reducing smoking behavior in Indonesia. Regulated about Regulations of pictorial health warning on cigarettes packs are expected to make smokers to quit smoking and regulations that have been in effect since 2014 should have been evaluated to see pictorial health warning on cigarettes packs that can change the behavior of smokers or prospective smokers in adolescents. This study aims to describe perceptions of pictorial health warning on cigarette packs and smoking behavior and intention to quits smoking of undergraduate student of state Islamic University of North Sumatra. Methodology: This research was conducted to students of the Islamic University of North Sumatra as many as 215 students. The study was conducted in March 2019 using a structured questionnaire that had been prepared. The data in this study will be presented in the form of frequency distributions and then the results are presented in the table. Results: The results of this study indicate that the respondents felt not fear with pictorial health warning on cigarette packs as many as 165 people (76.7%). For the smoking behavior of students it was found that as many as 147 people (68.4%) stated that they had not smoking and respondents who stated smokers as many as 68 people (31.6%), wanted to stop smoking after seeing picture health warning on cigarette packaging as many as 28 people (41.2%). Respondents who said they would continue smoking even though they had seen pictorial health warning on cigarette packs as many as 40 people (58.8%). Conclusion: The majority of students undergraduates of the North Sumatra State Islamic University (UIN SU) were not afraid when they saw pictorial health warning on cigarette packs and students undergraduates have smoking behaviour. Those who smoke said they wanted to stop smoking after seeing pictorial health warning on cigarette packs especially when looking at ppictorial health warning on cigarette packs related to smoking resulting in lung cancer.

Abstract

AbstractPerception someone has a significant impact on a person's attitude toward what he perceived, whereas the perception is not always true. Perception is a process that konpleks, which consists of a sensing, process, organization and interpretation. In the context of this study that examined is how the public perception of the existence Padangsidimpuan STAIN campus community radio FM Proxy STAIN Padangsidimpuan as media of dakwah. The background of this research presence in campus-based community radio in STAIN Padangsidimpuan. As a campus-based community broadcaster, the campus community participation in radio broadcasting sustainability has become a "duty". Based on this problem, this research is a descriptive qualitative research. This study concluded that the campus community has a positive perception of the presence Padangsidimpuan STAIN radio as a medium of dakwah. It can be seen from the attitude of the campus community who agree that the radio broadcast format STAIN Padangsidimpuan is radio dakwah, and hope that the presence of this radio as a dakwah radio icon in the TABAGSEL. Although there are many differences opinion comes to remain a community broadcasting institution or commercial broadcasters.Kata kunci: persepsi - radio komunitas proxy fm ? media dakwah

Abstract

Kejayaan peradaban Islam di masa lalu, dapat dicapai ummat dengan penerapan prinsip-prinsip manajemen yang bersumber dari Al-Qur’an dan Hadis.  Sebaliknya, kemunduran peradaban Islam disebabkan diabaikannya prinsip-prinsip Al-Qur’an dan Hadis tentang manajemen. Pada dasarnya “Ruh” manajemen yang profesional telah dicontohkan Allah SWT. dalam proses  penciptaan dan pengaturan alam semesta, dan diaplikasikan oleh Rasulullah SAW. Namun sangat disayangkan prinsip-prinsip manajemen yang terkandung dalam al-Qur’an dan Hadis kalah saing dengan teori-teori manajemen manusia.Dewasa ini mulai dikenal manajemen syariah sebagai sebuah upaya “menggali  kembali” ilmu manajemen Islam berdasarkan al-Qur’an dan Hadis. Terdapat perbedaan mendasar antara manajemen Islam dengan manajemen konvensional. Manajemen Islam bersumber dari Al-Quran dan Hadis, beroreantasi pada keselamatan/kesejahteraan umat manusia di dunia akhirat dan terikat dengan nilai-nilai tauhid. Sedangkan manajemen konvensioanal  bersumber dari hasil pemikiran manusia, beroreantasi hanya pada kesejahteraan di dunia semata dan kering dari nilai-nilai spiritual yang pada akhirnya menimbulkan berbagai kendala dan masalah dalam pencapaian tujuan organisasi.

Abstract

Background: Leaflet and poster calendars are one medium to provide health education to patients with pulmonary tuberculosis on the treatment of pulmonary Tuberculosis. The purpose of this research for media want to effectivity leaflet and poster calendars on health promotion to improve the knowledge and attitudes of pulmonary tuberculosis treatment at the Martubung Public Health Center. Methods: Research is a quasi-experimental design with pre-test and post-test group. The population in this study were all patients with pulmonary tuberculosis treatment in Martubung Public Health Center and analyzed with the wilcoxon test. Results: The results of the study using the wilcoxon test showed that the leaflet could increase the pretest value of 10 knowledge to 11.03 (p <0.001) and the attitude of having a pretest value of 41.77 to 45.7 (p <0.001). The wilcoxon test results show that the poster calendar can increase the pretest knowledge value from 8.7 to 11.97 (p <0.001) and the pretest attitude value from 43.7 to 50.27 (p <0.001). Conclusions: The media are most effective in improving knowledge and attitudes about the treatment of patients with pulmonary tuberculosis disease in Martubung Public Health Center is media poster calendar from the average value based on the pre-test and post-test conducted.

Abstract

Sex education is one of the most effective ways to be done in the current generation and parents have a very important role as a place to exchange information with children, especially related to child sexual problems. This research is descriptive with quantitative research with cross-sectional design. The population is parents (father and mother) who have male and female adolescents in Simatahari Village, Kotapinang District, South Labuhanbatu Regency, as many as 55 respondents as respondents. Data analysis in this study only describes the frequency distribution of father and mother characteristics, father's perception and mother's perception of sex education for youth. The results of this study indicate that the majority of parents both father and mother who have adolescents have ages 41-50 years, have education in the junior high school graduation category. the majority of fathers have perceptions of sexual education in the category of negative perceptions of sexual education and the majority of mothers have perceptions of sexual education in the category of negative perceptions of sexual education. It is suggested to fathers and mothers to provide early sex education to their young men and women so that teenagers can avoid the risk of deviant sexual behavior and sexual violence. To parents both fathers and mothers should learn more about sex education in the Islamic view so that fathers and mothers understand better in providing information to their children about early sex education. Keywords: Perception, Parents, Sex Education, Youth

Abstract

Introduction: The picture message policy on cigarette packets is regulated in Permenkes No. 28 of 2013 concerning the Inclusion of Warnings and Health Information on Tobacco Product Packaging. The purpose of the inclusion of pictorial health warnings (PKB) on cigarette packs is to prevent adolescents from smoking. By looking at the frightening picture on PKB, it hoped that young smokers would be motivated to quit smoking. Method: This study used a quantitative research approach with a cross-sectional design (cross-sectional) using primary data, this research conducted in Medan City. During January - June 2019. The population in this study were adolescents aged 18-23 years. The sample of this study was 215 teenagers. Data analysis used cross-tabulation descriptive analysis than presented in the form of a frequency distribution table using SPSS 22. Results: The results of this study indicate that the majority of respondents have smoking behaviour in the 19-20 year age group. The majority of respondents stated that they smoke 1-5 cigarettes a day. Teens who stated that they were not afraid of the impact of picture messages on cigarette packs had a 3,939 times risk of smoking compared to adolescents who expressed fear of the impact of picture messages on cigarette packs Conclusion: It hoped that the government could expand the picture message on cigarette packets to increase the desire to quit smoking and reduce the number of smokers in Indonesia. The image message on cigarette packs must be enlarged in order to reduce smoking behaviour in adolescents.

Abstract

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are a very dangerous problem, especially with the transmission of STIs. The incidence of STIs is still high because people's knowledge of STIs is still low, and people are still ashamed to admit to STI sufferers so that STI cases are still high. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of risk factors of sexually transmitted infections in North Sumatera province (secondary data analysis for the 2017 IDHS). This study conducted a secondary data analysis of the 2017 IDHS in North Sumatra Province. This research was conducted on 1717 women of childbearing age in North Sumatra Province. This study used the Chi-square test and Prevalent Rate (PR). The results of this study show chi-square analysis results showed a relationship between the source for STI knowledge: health professional (p 0.001), knowledge of the source for STI knowledge: a religious institution (p 0.001), male STI symptoms (p 0.001) with sexual transmitted infections symptoms with a p-value 0.001. A woman of childbearing age who has a partner with STI symptoms has a 26.088 times greater risk of suffering from an STI than a woman of childbearing age whose partner does not have STI symptoms. Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) are related to STI knowledge: health professional, knowledge of the source for STI knowledge: a religious institution, male STI symptoms. Symptoms of STIs in women of childbearing age partners are closely related to the incidence of STIs in women of childbearing age.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Analisis beban gempa dapat dilakukan dengan analisis statik maupun analisis dinamik. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk meninjau sejauh mana keakuratan analisis statik ekivalen dalam meramalkan respons parameter dari struktur akibat gempa terhadap analisis dinamik spektrum respons. Struktur yang ditinjau yaitu struktur beraturan dan tidak beraturan diambil dari konfigurasi struktur yang memiliki perbedaan massa. Untuk struktur beraturan massa seragam yaitu tidak lebih dari 150% massa efektif tiap tingkat didekatnya. Sedangkan untuk struktur ketidakberaturan massa bervariasi yaitu 200%, 350%, dan 500% yang terletak ditingkat 4 dan 7. Kedua struktur masing-masing berlantai 7 dengan sistem rangka pemikul momen khusus (SRPMK). Analisis dinamik spektrum respons yang digunakan spektrum respons wilayah kota Medan untuk jenis tanah lunak pada bangunan perhotelan yang dikeluarkan oleh Spektra Indonesia. Untuk mempermudah proses perhitungan, analisis dilakukan dengan bantuan program SAP 2000 versi 14 dilakukan secara 3D. Respons parameter dari struktur yang ditinjau adalah base shear dan displacement tiap tingkat yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh perbandingan yang tidak terlalu signifikan terhadap base shear dan displacement. Maka dalam tugas akhir ini, hasil respons parameter dari struktur yang diperoleh analisis statik ekivalen masih akurat digunakan pada struktur beraturan dan ketidakberaturan variasi massa yaitu 200%, 350%, dan 500% karena memiliki nilai respons parameter dari struktur yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan spektrum respons. Namun untuk nilai base shear yang terbesar berada ditingkat 4 dengan variasi 500%. Sedangkan nilai displacement yang terbesar berada ditingkat 7 dengan variasi massa 500%.
