The problem in this research is the low ability of students 'problem solving, the low activity of students' mathematics learning, and the low ability of the teacher in managing learning. To overcome these problems, a Novick learning model is applied. This type of research is classroom action research. Where the population of this study was all class 11 IPA-1, totaling 31 students. Data collection techniques in this study were tests and observations. The results of the study can be seen from the test of students' problem-solving abilities in cycle I and cycle II there is an increase of 23.42% and have met the completeness criteria of ≥ 80% with the category "Good". Observation of student activities in cycle I and cycle II there was an increase of 27.8% and had met the completeness criteria of ≥ 80% with the "Good" category. Teacher performance in mathematics learning in cycle I and cycle II there was an increase of 16.6% and had met the completeness criteria of ≥ 80% with the category "Good".

Mathematical communication skills are one of the abilities that students must have to make it easier to solve problems contained in mathematics itself and in everyday life. Because if students have mastered mathematical communication skills, it will make it easier for students to take deeper learning. This study aims to analyze the difficulty of students' mathematical communication skills using the Google Classroom Application in the Algebra course. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were tree semester students who took Algebra courses in the Mathematics Education study program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan, academic year 2020/2021 as many as 15 people. The instrument used in this study was Test and interview. The results showed that based on the test results obtained: difficulties in the ability to interpret mathematical ideas rationally in writing, difficulties in mathematical problems into mathematical models and difficulties in the ability to express mathematical ideas in the form of descriptions. Meanwhile, based on the results of the interview, namely: (1) technical difficulties, and (2) student adaptation difficulties. To overcome these difficulties, it is necessary which is a combination of Online and Offline learning or also called blended learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe FSLC lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran langsung. Peningkatan self-efficacy siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe FSLC lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran langsung. Apakah terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran yang digunakan dengan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa. Apakah terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran yang digunakan dengan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap self-efficacy siswa Bagaimana proses penyelesaian soal-soal yang terkait dengan kemampuan komunikasi matematik pada pembelajaran kooperatif tipe FSLC dan pembelajaran langsung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri di kota Sipirok. Pemilihan sampel dilakukan secara acak. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri dari: (1) tes kemampuan komunikasi matematik dengan materi trigonometri (2) Skala Self-Efficacy siswa. Instrumen tersebut dinyatakan telah memenuhi syarat validitas isi, serta koefisien reliabilitas sebesar 0,94 dan 0,937 berturut-turut untuk kemampuan komunikasi dan self-efficacy siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis inferensial yaitu uji t dan anava 2 jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematik siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe FSLC lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran langsung. (2) peningkatan self-efficacy siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe FSLC lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan pembelajaran langsung. (3) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran yang digunakan dengan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematik. (4) Tidak terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran yang digunakan dengan kemampuan awal siswa terhadap self-efficacy siswa. (5) Proses penyelesaian jawaban siswa yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe FSLC lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran langsung. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka peneliti menyarankan agar model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe FSLC dijadikan pembelajaran yang digunakan guru di sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematik dan self-efficacy siswa

Self-efficacy is a person's feelings, ways of thinking, self-motivation, and desire to have something, while a positive attitude means in the learning process students have a tendency to accept or reject a concept or idea, if not in accordance with his mind. Students can think and be positive if if a learning can provide real benefits for life. While the academic achievement is the result of behavioral changes that include the cognitive domain, affective domain and psychomotor domain which is a measure of student success after being given treatment or learning. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Sipirok. This study uses descriptive research method with correlational approach with the aim to know whether there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and positive attitude toward student academic achievement. Based on the research that has been done, the research results found that there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy and positive attitude of students to the academic achievement in SMK Negeri 1 Sipirok Tapanuli Selatan but the relationship is not showing increase or decrease so it can be said academic achievement is not important enough in pushing self-efficacy and positive attitude of students.

Abstract. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Mathematics students in grade IV SD N 101212 Padang Bujur. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) type of collaboration with steps of planning, action, observation, and reflection consisting of two cycles. Data collection techniques used are test, non-test, and documentation. Adapaun indicator of success of this study is 85% of all students got a value of ≥ 75. The results of the study were analyzed by completeness analysis. In the teaching and learning process using the cooperative type NHT learning model, in cycles 1 and 2 Mathematics learning outcomes increased. Of the students with 15 children, when the pre-cycle students were completed there were 5 (33.33%). Whereas 10 students (66.66%) did not complete. After conducting classroom action research using the NHT cooperative learning model in the first cycle the students who completed the study numbered 8 students (53.33%) while the incomplete ones in the study were 7 students with an average score of 73.66. In the second cycle, students who completed learning were 13 students (86.66%), while those who did not complete the study were 2 students (13.33%) with an average score of 81.33. The results of this study indicate that through the NHT cooperative learning model can improve Mathematics learning outcomes for students in Class IV SD N 101212 Padang Bujur.Keywords: Cooperative learning model Number Head Together (NHT) type, Mathematics Learning Outcomes

Abstract. This research was conducted at University of Muhammadiyah South Tapanuli in semester VI student of mathematics education program that follow Real Analytical course. This study aims to determine students' mathematical reasoning ability after using constructivism approach and also want to know the effectiveness of constructivism approach to mathematical reasoning ability, as well as expected to give benefit to lecturer of Real Analysis course lecturer. The method used to achieve the goal is by experimental method with pre-experimental design research design. This research produces: A very effective constructivism approach is used to teach real analysis courses. There is an increase in students' mathematical reasoning abilities after using constructivism approach.Keywords: Constructivism, Mathematical Reasoning, Real Analysis.

Proses belajar mengajar di sekolah sangat menentukan keberhasilan siswa. Dalam mencapai keberhasilan tersebut perlu bantuan dan dorongan dari guru serta orang tua. Namun dalam proses belajar di sekolah yang sangat banyak memberikan kontribusi adalah peran guru. Dalam hal ini guru dituntut sedemikian sehingga mampu membawa para siswa menuju keberhasilan dengan demikian maka guru baru dikatakan telah mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut banyak hal yang harus dilakukan guru salah satunya adalah pengembangan bahan ajar. Oleh karena, itu guru harus mampu mengembangkan bahan ajar atau buku paket yang sudah ada semenarik mungkin dengan bahasa yang sederhana dan di desain sedemikian rupa sehingga siswa dapat belajar mandiri disekolah maupun di rumah dengan bantuan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan tersebut. Tujuan kegiatan workshop ini adalah (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para guru mengenai pengembangan bahan ajar. (2) Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para guru dalam meningkatakan motivasi belajar siswa. (3) Para guru mampu membuat desain pengembangan bahan ajar semenarik dan seefisien mungkin untuk dilaksanakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Kesehatan Martabe Sipirok. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan ialah berupa workshop. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan, pada bulan Januari - Maret 2016. Dimana kegiatan workshopnya dilaksanakan selama dua hari berturut-turut. Hasil workshop pengembangan bahan ajar ini yaitu bahwa guru-guru di SMK Kesehatan Martabe Sipirok sudah banyak memperoleh motivasi, informasi/pengetahuan terkait dalam pengembangan bahan ajar dan juga diperkirakan kedepannya para guru-guru khususnya di SMK Kesehatan Martabe Sipirok sudah mampu mengembangkan bahan ajar sendiri. This study aims to determine the relationship and the extent of influence between mathematical resilience and students' mathematical problem-solving abilities in basic mathematics courses. This research is motivated by the perception of students who tend to be negative towards mathematics as well as an attitude of lack of confidence and easily give up in solving the given questions. In addition, students' mathematical solving abilities are also classified as low, even though this ability is very important because it is the basis and general goal of learning mathematics. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study were all Semester I students of the Computer and Informatics Engineering study program at STKIP AL Maksum Langkat which consisted of 5 classes and took basic mathematics courses, while the research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique, which is a technique of determining and taking the specified sample. by researchers with certain considerations. The sample consisted of 35 students. The instruments in this study were test questions in the form of mathematical problem-solving abilities and non-test questions in the form of a mathematical resilience scale. Then the data is processed using hypothesis testing techniques, correlation analysis and simple regression assisted by SPSS and Microsoft Excel. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between mathematical resilience and students 'mathematical problem-solving abilities with the effect of mathematical resilience by 41.3% on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.

Tujuan pelatihan dan pendampingan ini adalah sebagai wujud dari pelaksanaan Tri Darma Perguruan Tinggi yaitu pengabdian masyarakat. Upaya untuk memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan kinerja guru yaitu dengan mengikuti berbagai pelatihan dan pendampingan pengembangan bahan ajar dan self efficacy mengajar guru. Sehingga meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran, strategi pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran, model pembelajaran, dan teknik pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta pelatihan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran, meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta pelatihan dalam menulis dan mengembangkan bahan ajar. Berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya terkait pengembangan bahan ajar dan self efficacy mengajar untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru yang dilaksanakan kepada beberapa guru di Sekolah Kecamatan Sipirok, masih banyak guru yang belum memahami cara membuat dan mengembangkan bahan ajar yang baik dan benar serta memiliki self efficacy mengajar yang rendah. Berangkat dari permasalahan tersebut selaku dosen di lingkungan Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan (UMTS) merasa peduli dan tergerak untuk melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi guru-guru di SMP Negeri 1 Sipirok.
