Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran RESIK berbantuan alat peraga Ketupat Berkedip terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika materi garis dan sudut siswa kelas VII-A SMPN 2 Mojoanyar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest posttest design. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi, lembar soal tes pemahaman konsep garis dan sudut, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Data hasil tes pemahaman konsep menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pemahaman konsep siswa antara sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran RESIK berbantuan alat peraga Ketupat Berkedip, dengan t hitung = -13,276 < t tabel = 1,70. Dengan demikian model pembelajaran RESIK berbantuan alat peraga “Ketupat Berkedip” berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika materi garis dan sudut siswa kelas VII-A SMPN 2 Mojoanyar tahun pelajaran 2015/2016.

Abstract

This literature study research examined relevant theories about KMK and problem solving to discuss how KMK could help people when trying to solve problems, especially mathematical problems. Methods of data collection through literature study. The data obtained was compiled, analyzed in depth and concluded. The results showed that KMK played a role in maintaining and retrieving information in LTM. KMK could impact on successful problem solving namely supporting more effective problem solving by activating the retrieval and using of relevant information to the domain. KMK helped narrow the search space for appropriate solutions and could help problem solvers focused on problems and experiences that were lacking in the interruption of irrelevant information. KMK resources contributed to the development of domain related knowledge

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to increase teachers' knowledge about the Application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model in learning mathematics so that it can support teachers' skills in preparing PjBL learning tools that motivate student learning. In this PKM activity, training and mentoring are collected in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. The instruments used are observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and training modules. Data analysis of this activity is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that training and mentoring activities for the implementation of the PjBL Model make a good contribution to increasing mastery of the material and increasing the ability of teachers to design PjBL learning tools that motivate student learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and the result of developing literacy and numeracy-based mathematical reasoning questions for high school students in Mojokerto that are valid, practical, and effective. The subjects of this study are 12th-grade students at the public senior high school of Gondang. The research instruments are observation sheets, interview guidelines, response questionnaires, and mathematical reasoning ability tests. At the same time, the data analysis in this study is qualitative and quantitative. The result of this research is (1) In The preliminary stage, students' mathematical reasoning abilities still needed to improve with evidence of difficulties in identifying and relating the information provided to conclusions. The researchers and teachers determine the research subjects and research time. In the formative evaluation stage, for self-evaluation, the researcher analyzed the material and curriculum. The third stage is prototyping, consisting of expert review, one-to-one, small group, and field tests. In the expert review, prototype II was produced, which was very valid, with an overall average of 4.24. Three students were tested in the one-to-one, and three prototypes were built. A trial was conducted in the small group, and a prototype IV was produced. The field test, testing, and production of mathematical modules met the valid, practical, and effective criteria. (2) The study's findings include numeracy and literacy-based mathematical reasoning problems that satisfy the validity criteria with proper categories and the practical requirements with extremely positive standards, in addition to achieving the efficacy criterion of the questions through students' mathematical reasoning.

Abstract

Reflection has a vital contribution to improving teachers’ teaching performance as well as their professional growth. Therefore, this research investigates how prospective teachers apply reflection activities in teaching and learning and the impacts of the implementation of an independent curriculum during teaching practice program activities. Using qualitative research, the researchers employed a group interview consisting of two participants in each group. The participants were six prospective teachers who accomplished the teaching practice program. Three types of reflections were employed, i.e., reflection-before-lesson, reflection-during-lesson, and reflection-after-lesson. The results indicate that teachers’ reflective practice leads to improvement in their teaching process and builds engagement with the students. The insights of the research results are further discussed.

Abstract

Sastra lokal belum tersosialisasikan dengan baik di kalangan generasi muda khususnya anak-anak, sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk menumbuhkan sekaligus memberikan penguatan kepada anak-anak tentang pentingnya literasi sastra lokal dan mengaplikasikan nilai multikultural dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskrpsikan bentuk nilai multikultural dalam sastra lokal. Teori yang digunakan di dalam menganalisis nilai multikultural yang terdapat di dalam sastra lokal yaitu teori Bennet. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Adapun teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi teori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai multikultural yang ditemukan di dalam sastra lokal adalah nilai apresiasi terhadap kenyataan pluralitas budaya dalam masyarakat, pengakuan harkat dan hak asasi manusia, pengembangan tanggungjawab manusia terhadap masyarakat dunia, dan pengembangan tangungjawab manusia terhadap planet bumi. Temuan penelitian dapat digunakan sebagai referensi bagi anak-anak dalam hidup yang harmonis. Wujud nyatanya dapat hidup berdampingan dengan damai di tengah perbedaan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of icebreaking on student learning motivation at Terpadu Darul Dakwah Junior High School which will be carried out in the 2023/2024 academic year. Ice breaking is a straightforward, light and concise action that is able to change stiffness, determination, fatigue or lethargy in learning activities so that it can create a learning atmosphere that is full of energy and fun. The type of research used is quantitative. The population in this study was 200 students at Terpadu Darul Dakwah Junior High School with a sample of 62 students in grades 7, 8, 9. The instrument used in this research is a learning motivation number. Researchers also used data collection techniques using learning motivation questionnaires which were given to students in the form of questionnaires before and after icebreaking in learning to determine the effect of this activity on students' learning motivation. The results of the research show that the presence of icebreaking during classroom learning activities has an effect on students' learning motivation. Keywords: Ice breaking, Motivation, Influence

Abstract

To equip prospective mathematics teacher students in solving problems faced both in class and outside the classroom, one of the abilities that need to be improved is critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skill is a high-order thinking skill (HOTS) that is important for students to master because it can place students in charge of reasonable situations or integrate new ideas with previous knowledge. This study aims to describe whether project-based learning (PjBL) in statistics material can improve the critical thinking skills of prospective mathematics teacher students. This research is a class action research with ten students from the class of 2021 as research subjects. The stages in this research are in the form of spiral cycles which include activities (1)planning, (2)implementing actions, (3)observation, and (4)reflection. The research instrument used was a critical thinking skill test and observation sheets for lecturer and student activities. The results of the study show that (1) the use of the PjBL learning model can improve the critical thinking skills of prospective mathematics teacher students class of 2021, as evidenced by the results of the critical thinking test with an increase in the percentage of students who scored a minimum of 76 (B) in the first cycle by 50% to 90 % in the second cycle and (2) the use of the PjBL learning model can increase student learning activity, indicated by an increase in the percentage of student activity from the first cycle of 78% to 85% in the second cycle.
