Abstract

Abstractthe whole world has been made aware of the importance of sustaining human life on this earth. The economic improvement felt in the last decade is the result of increasing industrialization around the world. This has a fairly serious impact in terms of natural damage and social life. Fundamental changes are urgently needed to break the chain of socio-environmental damage that threatens the survival of future generations. These fundamental changes can be started from changes in the concept of education. Education is still considered the key to development both in terms of human resources and innovation. Applied education can be a door in the teaching of new abilities and skills based on the SDGs. This study aims to describe the role of applied or vocational education in achieving SGDs. The Faculty of Vocational Studies at Universitas Airlangga can be an example of how applied higher education institutions have the potential to achieve the SDGs goals. Based on the results of our study, it appears that the role of applied educational institutions has the potential to achieve the SDGs targets. The results of this study have a significant impact on future policy directions and institutional development. Keywords: SDGs, higher education institution, sustainable development, thematic analysis.

The independent variable used in the results of this study is given an X notation, namely: Islamic leadership and Islamic compensation. The moderating variables are organizational commitment (Z). The dependent variable of employee performance (Y). Measurements in the questionnaire using a five-point Likert scale. The analysis technique used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling with the Smart PLS (Partial Least Square) program. The result shows that Islamic leadership significantly affects employee performance, while Islamic compensation does not. This research proves that commitment as a moderating factor for Islamic leadership and Islamic compensation in Islamic boarding schools is not optimal. In Islamic leadership, commitment weakens the influence of Islamic leadership on employee performance and strengthens compensation on employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the intimacy of zakat institutions with muzakki in order to gain trust, commitment and loyalty in order to encourage an increase in charitable funds, namely Zakat, Infaq and Sadaqah (ZIS). This study uses a quantitative approach through the Partial Least Square (PLS) method on 132 muzakki permanent members of zakat institutions using the variables of familiarity, trust, commitment, and loyalty. The results of this study note that the closeness of the relational relationship between zakat institution officials and muzakki as assessed from the familiarity factor in general has a positive relationship with the emergence of trust and commitment which in turn fosters muzakki's loyalty to the zakat institution they choose; However, this closeness does not significantly influence the emergence of trust, commitment and loyalty. One of the reasons for this to happen is that the public still has high distrust of zakat institutions, so it is very important for zakat institutions to start using a professional and responsible management pattern and have the support of all people. Keyword: Intimacy, Trust, Commitment, and Loyalty   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh keakraban lembaga zakat dengan muzakki guna mendapatkan kepercayaan, komitmen dan loyalitas agar mendorong peningkatan dana amal yaitu Zakat, Infaq dan Shadaqah (ZIS).
