Eco-enzyme is a natural liquid made from waste in the form of fruit peels. The manufacturing process is very easy, it only requires water, brown sugar, cane sugar and molasses as well as fruit peels that have become waste for the community. The purpose of this service activity is to provide training in processing waste into products that can be used for the community. The method of service activities is in the form of a demonstration training method. The training participants consisted of 20 people who joined the group of Mrs. PKK Gampong Kuala Langsa, West Langsa District, Langsa City. The results of this activity at the survey stage carried out by the service team obtained permission from Mr. Geuchik to carry out service activities in Kuala Langsa Village. The socialization stage is to determine the schedule of activities and the number of participants who are given the training. The implementation phase of the activity is that the team conducts training to make eco-enzyme products for PKK. The evaluation phase of the team monitors the extent to which the product has been produced from the eco-enzyme manufacturing process. The conclusion of the service activities from distributing community satisfaction questionnaires, especially mothers who joined the PKK group were stated to be satisfied with a score of 41%, so this activity had a positive and useful impact.

Mangrove Forest, located in Kuala Langsa, Aceh Province of Indonesia, is one of the local, regional, national, and international ecotourism destinations. However, there are some issues about the awareness character of the society around Kuala Langsa. This research purpose is to have a better understanding of the people and their knowledge concerning to environmental issues. The technique used in the research was a random sampling interview combined with customized questionnaires as an indicator of understanding about environmental issues awareness taken from 100 respondents. The data value shown by Likert scale as follow: 46.8 percent littering habits, 33 percent toilet sanitation, 36.2 percent reuse of product. The research concludes the awareness character of Kuala Langsa society influenced by the educational level, economic condition, and their opportunity to gain access to the next level of educational grade, and also low frequency of government appeal to the society of how important to always maintain and preserve the Kuala Langsa Mangrove.

Library as a storage room books that are kept on a regular basis to be read and studied or used as reference material. Advances in digital technology have changed many things, one of which is in the world of education where technology is used in the library field which can build many skills. Advances in technology advances in digital technology are utilized in the field of libraries which can build many skills. In developing skills, the top ten skills include Cognitive Flexibility. Cognitive Flexibility is the ability to think and align cognitive strategy processes in dealing with new and unexpected situations. The research method used is Research and Development with a 4D model approach. The subjects in this study were students of Biology Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Samudra University in semesters V and VII. The results of the digital library IT expert validation test where Accessibility has a score of 92%, while the lowest, navigability and copyright have a score of 50%. While the validation of the librarian's ease of reading and storing has 88% while the inventory suitability is 50%. While the practicality test for users is 75%. This is because there is still a need for more in-depth development in increasing the collection of various books in the Biology education study program at Samudra University

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagai mana tingkat pengetahuan masyarakat Kuala Langsa terhadap konsep ekowisata hutan mangrove yang berlokasi di area tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara angket dan wawancara. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini bahwa hampir sebagian besar masyarakat sekitar kurang memahami konsep ekowisata di daerah Kuala Langsa. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti: rendahnya tingkat pendidikan mayoritas masyarakat (tamat SD) di Kuala Langsa, kurangnya intensitas edukasi ekowisata oleh pihak terkait, dan taraf ekonomi yang rendah sehingga masyarakat kurang memperhatikan isu lingkungan yang terjadi di wilayah ekowisata Kuala Langsa.

Desa Sukaramai Dua, Kecamatan Seruway, Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang mempunyai potensi sumber daya alam berupa perkebunan kelapa sawit yang luas dan ternak ruminansia milik kelompok Tani warga. Potensi ini dapat dimanfaatkan dengan mengolah hasil limbah kelapa sawit pelepah segar menjadi potensi sumber pakan organik yang dapat diolah menjadi pakan ternak ruminansia. Terbatasnya ketersediaan pakan utama ternak berupa semua jenis rumput pada musim kemarau dan penghujan membuat peternak ruminansia kesulitan menyediakan pakan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian adalah memanfaatkan limbah kelapa sawit berupa pelepah segar yang tidak dipakai dan dibuang oleh petani menjadi alternatif pakan ruminansia pada musim kemarau dan penghujan sebagai cadangan stok pakan. Pelatihan diberikan kepada Kelompok usaha ternak Replita Tani yang terdiri dari masyarakat Desa Sukaramai Dua. Kegiatan dilaksanakan mulai dari tanggal 3 Juni sampai 25 juni 2022, Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan melalui dua tahap yaitu tahap pertama survey lapangan, sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengelolaan bahan campuran serta pengemasan, tahap kedua pendampingan fermentasi hasil bahan olahan selama 21 hari sebelum pakan diberikan kepada sapi. Hasil produk berupa olahan pakan ternak yang dapat meningkatkan kuantitas serta kualitas daging dari komposisi campuran pada pembuatan dengan berbagai bahan tambahan dapat meningkatkan kualitas daging sapi. Pelatihan yang di berikan kepada Kelompok Replita Tani Desa Sukaramai Dua sangat bermanfaat dengan mengembangkan potensi desa yang mempunya lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit kemudian diolah menjadi pakan ternak ruminansia. Dengan adanya pelatihan ini masyarakat dapat mandiri menyediakan stok pakan ruminansia dengan daya simpan lebih lama sehingga tidak kesulitan pada saat musim penghujan dan musim kemarau. Sukaramai Dua Village, Seruway District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, has potential natural resources in the form of extensive oil palm plantations and ruminant livestock belonging to the resident farmer group. This potential can be utilized by processing palm oil waste from fresh midrib into a potential source of organic feed that can be processed into ruminant animal feed. The limited availability of main feed for livestock in the form of all types of grass in the dry and rainy seasons makes it difficult for ruminant farmers to provide feed. The purpose of this service activity is to utilize palm oil waste in the form of fresh midribs that are not used and disposed of by farmers as an alternative to ruminant feed in the dry and rainy seasons as a reserve for feedstock. The training was given to the Replita Tani livestock business group consisting of the people of Sukaramai Dua Village. The activity was carried out starting from June 3 to June 25, 2022; the method of carrying out the activities was through two stages, namely the first stage of field surveys, socialization and training in the management of mixed materials and packaging, and the second stage of mentoring the fermentation of processed materials for 21 days before the feed was given to cows. The product results in processed animal feed, which can increase the quantity and quality of meat from the composition of the mixture in the manufacture with various additional ingredients that can improve the quality of beef. The training provided to the Replita Tani Group in Sukaramai Dua Village is very useful for developing the potential of villages with oil palm plantations which are then processed into ruminant animal feed. With this training, the community can independently provide a stock of ruminant feed with a longer shelf life so that it is not difficult during the rainy and dry seasons.

The community service activity program given to partners is in the form of training in the manufacture of aromatherapy-based liquid detergent with drill mixer technology. In the process of this activity, participants will be given a drill mixer as a technology stirrer that produces large amounts of liquid detergent. The process of this activity is also the community service team providing knowledge of the product marketing process that has been made as a group business. The basis of the goal of the community service team to select the Ms. PKK group in Matang Teupah Village, Bendahara District, Aceh Tamiang Regency is that the PKK group has the potential to advance the group, but they are limited in knowledge and funds to start from where to start a business and make products as income. economics for groups. Thus, this service activity was precisely carried out, the proof of this that the service team obtained it was seen by the enthusiasm of Mrs. PKK in Matang Teupah Village who attended the training activity and they were also enthusiastic to help the service team in the process of making liquid detergent. We use the results of this activity as data in distributing an understanding questionnaire which will be evidence that the sustainability of service activities will be carried out next. The results obtained from the questionnaire understanding of 89% on the indicators of knowledge of product-making materials, it can be concluded that service activities have a positive impact on the PKK group.

Research activities carry out measurements for science literacy ability contained in ethnoscience values by making electronic Student Work learning tools students worksheets that are useful for students. Ethnoscience is related to the concept of local culture contained in the electronic Student Worksheet learning tool students worksheet which is used as a source of learning and learning activities while science literacy skills will provide motivation and interest in learning in understanding learning materials and improving. Thus the realization of a research objective, namely to determine the feasibility test of material experts, media experts, and practicalization experts from learning tools for the development of students’ worksheet learning tools to carry out ethnoscience based on science literacy on the material for the classification of living things at Muhammadiyah Langsa High School. The research method is a method of product development of students' worksheet learning devices. The results showed that products that have been made and validated by material experts, media experts, and practicalization experts state that the products are suitable for use for sourcing learning media in learning and learning activities of students and teachers. This research can also be concluded that the overall average of expert assessments of students’ worksheet product validation is feasible

Rapid development of information and communication technology should be accompanied by appropriate changes in learning activities. Implementation of Blended learning is considered providing space for students to learn both offline and online. The use of android media in the activity will facilitate students to learn the materials in a specific, interesting, and easy way. This study aimed to examine the improvement of learning outcome and information literacy skill of students. Research method applied was Quasi Experimental Design with Non-Equivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study was conducted from June to August 2022 in Senior High School 5 Langsa. Population in this study consisted of 60 students, with class sample X.1: 29 students. Sampling technique applied was purposive sampling. Research instruments included Multiple-Choice Test to investigate learning outcome of students and Rubric Assessment for information literacy skill. Data in this research were statistically analyzed using Paired samples t-test; to analyze learning outcome of students, Cluster, and Descriptive test to analyze the indicators of information literacy skill of students. Study result of learning outcome of students was expressed as value (sig) of 0.00 < (α) 0.05, hence Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Therefore, implementation of android-based Blended Learning was found to significantly improve learning outcome. Furthermore, study results about information literacy skill showed that students: Find and select information (56.77%), Identify the truth of information (62.58%), Retell the information in writing (62.58%), and Communicate information in a presentation (61.29%) with 3 Indicators of Good Category and 1 Moderate Category. To conclude, habituation of learning activity through android-based blended learning is necessary for students of Senior High School 5 Langsa to strengthen their information literacy skill

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas pada materi pencemaran lingkungan kelas VII di SMP Negeri 4 Tanjung Morawa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan pemberian tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai rata-rata siswa saat mengikuti pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas 80 dengan kategori “baik”, ketuntasan klasikal siswa saat mengikuti pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas 88,57% dengan kategori “baik”, peningkatan hasil belajr siswa dengan Uji N-Gain Score 59% dengan kategori “cukup efektif”, dan hasil aktifitas belajar siswa saat mengikuti pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas 79,5% dengan kategori “aktif”. Berdasarkan hasil yang telah diperoleh maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada ranah kognitif mengalami peningkatan dengan jumlah N-Gain Score 0,59% dengan kategori “cukup” dan dala tabel keefektifan sebesar 59% dengan kategori “cukup efektif”. Sedangkan hasil belajar siswa pada ranah afektif dan psikomotorik 79,5% dengan kategori “aktif”.

Learning is an interaction between students and educators in a learning environment. The learning process and outcomes are measured using Performance Assessment. The Performance assessment is a suitable tool in biology learning to improve critical thinking skills. this research aimed to develop a project-based learning model with an ethnoscience-based performance assessment and determine the model's practicality for increasing students' critical thinking skills, especially in ethnoscience learning. The method used was a mixed-method design (quantitative and qualitative data) with a research and development model using the 4D model approach (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The research was conducted in SMA Negeri 1 Manyak Panyed, SMA Negeri 2 Patra Nusa, SMA Negeri 1 Langsa, SMA Negeri 5 Langsa, SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya and SMA Unggul Aceh Timur. The instruments used were validation sheets by biology lecturers and teachers and students’ questionnaires. The analysis was administrated through Aiken V coefficients for the critical thinking skills test. The results showed that the project-based learning model with an ethnoscience-based performance assessment was effective as a learning tool for students and teachers. In addition, the test of practicality regarding critical thinking skills revealed an improvement in students' knowledge of ethnoscience
