Abstract

Teluk Awur and Bandengan waters are located in Jepara which have different conditions and also the waters are still good for seagrass growth. Seagrass has one physical function as a sediment catcher in coastal waters. The sedimentation rate in the Teluk Awur and Bandengan waters affected by seagrass density, flow velocity, and sediment composition. The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship of seagrass vegetation density with the rate of sedimentation in the Teluk Awur and Bandengan waters, Jepara. This reaserch was conducted in June-July 2012. in the Teluk Awur waters discovered 6 genus such as Enhalus, Thalassia, Thalassodendron, Cymodocea, Halodule, and Syringodium, with an average value of density 198.03 individu/m2. While Bandengan waters was found 7 genus such as Enhalus, Thalassia, Thalassodendron, Cymodocea, Halodule, Syringodium and Halophila, with average value of density 457.1 individu/m2. The results showed that the average value of sedimentation rate in the Teluk Awur waters 438.74 g/m2/week, while the Bandengan waters 667.42 g/m2/week. The R2 value of relationship between Seagrass density with the sedimentation rate in the Teluk Awur waters 0.566. While the R2 of Bandengan waters 0.073. The Teluk Awur waters contain a little lanau sediment so it has a little sedimenation. Bandengan waters contain higher lanau sediment so it has more sedimentation.

Abstract

Ibuprofen is an analgesic anti-inflammatory nonsteroidal (AINS). Generally, ibuprofen have a bad flowability because a high cohesivity. Another problem in manufacturing is the high tendency for sticking to the punches. Besides these disadvantageous properties, ibuprofen indicates bad dissolution behavior because of its hydrophobic structure. To improve the properties of ibuprofen can be used crystallization method with using variation of solvents. In this experiment observed crystallization method by cooling, evaporation, and water presence, which used methanol, ethanol, and acetone solvents. Of all the crystallization results are produced white prism-shaped crystalline. The selected method is cooling method, which is characterized using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), powder X-ray diffraction, and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). These three characterizations indicate transformation of crystal form which compared with ibuprofen’s standard. The selected method also produces non cohesive powder which have the size particle is 710-1180µm, compressibility index: IBMD 14.2%, IBED 16.6%, IBAD 17.1%; angles of repose: IBMD 28.1º, IBED 29.7º, IBAD 30.1º, and have higher solubility than the common crystal’s solubility. The result indicates that crystallization method is able to improve flowrate, compressibility index, and dissolution rate properties of ibuprofen’s standard.

Abstract

Pengembangan data perlu dilakukan jika informasi disimpan dalam suatu penyimpan. Dengan adanya kegiatan penjualan setiap hari, data semakin lama akan semakin bertambah banyak. Hal ini disebabkan karena tidak memanfaatkan data transaksi penjualan yang ada sehingga terjadi penumpukan data yang tidak diketahui apa manfaatnya dan pada dasarnya kumpulan data tersebut memiliki informasi-informasi yang bemanfaat yang bisa digunakan untuk mengambil suatu keputusan dan untuk memperoleh keputusan yang baru tentang penjualan.tujuan yang akan dicapai penelitian adalah menerapkan data mining menggunakan algoritma apriori dalam menganalisis pola pembelian konsumen. Untuk menjawab tujuan maka digunakan algoritma apriori dengan aturan asosiasi. Untuk minimum Support yang digunakan adalah 20% dari jumlah transaksi yang ada dan untuk asosiasi antar produk ditentukan dengan confidence sebesar 50%. Penelitian ini di implementasikan menggunakan aplikasi Rapid Miner. Dengan data hasil aturan yang diperoleh, maka dapat dilihat item apa saja yang paling sering dibeli secara bersamaan oleh setiap pelanggan. Informasi ini dapat berguna untuk meningkatkan penjualan sehingga toko dapat membuat keputusan bisnis dengan membuat rekomendasi produk.

Abstract

After Colombia, Peru, and Brazil, Indonesia is the fourth richest country in the world in terms of the number of bird species. Lake Tangkas Nature Tourism is located in two administrative areas, namely Tanjung Terus Village, Sekernan District, Muaro Jambi Regency, and Desa Kaos, Pemayung District, Batanghari Regency, and has an extended form. The region surrounding Tangkas Lake, which is still in its original state, is an ideal habitat for bird species that nest. This study seeks to identify bird species inhabiting freshwater swamp habitats in the Muaro Jambi Tangkas Lake Natural Tourism destination region. This study was conducted in March 2021 at the Lake Tangkas Nature Tourist Area, Tanjung Terus Village, which has 403.11 hectares, Sekernan District, Muaro Jambi Regency. Collecting data on bird species using the point count method. Thirteen observation stations are employed as study locations as counting points. Observations were conducted during peak bird activity, namely in the morning from 6:00 to 10:00 WIB and in the afternoon from 14:00 to 18:00 WIB. According to the results of the study, 36 species of birds from 18 groups (475 individuals) were discovered in the freshwater swamp habitat of Tangkas Lake; the diversity index value is (H'=3.12). The evenness index is 0.87, which places the distribution of bird species in the studied area in the "high" category

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk penerapan strategi tahsīn al-qirāah dalam pembinaan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam semester VIII di STAI DDI Jeneponto Tahun 2023. Jenis riset ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Penulis secara khusus menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi yang berkaitan langsung dengan fenomena yang terjadi, peneliti mengidentifikasi pengalaman manusia mengenai suatu fenomena tertentu, maka dari proses ini peneliti mendeskripsikan gejala yang berasal dari pengalaman-pengalaman subjek. Selain itu peneliti juga menggunakan pendekatan psikologis. Adapun instrument kunci adalah peneliti itu sendiri sebagai. Teknk pengolahan data dan analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitiam ini adalah 1) Pengumpulan data, 2) Reduksi data 3) Penyajian data, 4) Penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun pengujian keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini adalah 1) Ketekunan pengamatan, 2) Triangulasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi tahsīn al-qirāah dilaksanakan pada saat mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam semester VIII tahun 2023 melakukan kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). Setiap posko KKN sudah disiapkan pembimbing tahsīn al-qirāah yang akan membina mahasiswa dalam memperbaiki bacaan al-Qur’annya. Kegiatan tahsīn al-qirāah tidak mengganggu program kerja yang telah direncakan oleh para mahasiswa karena kegiatan pembinaan tersebut dilaksanakan pada waktu subuh. Implikasi penelitian ini dapat dinarasikan bahwa dosen STAI DDI Jeneponto harus memaksimalkan pembinaan kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an mahasiswa jurusan Pendidikan Agama Islam. Proses pembinaan tahsīn al-qirāah harus dilakukan secara sadar dan terarah sehingga tujuan pembinaan dapat tercapai

Abstract

Sebapo Institut adalah area wisata edukasi yang terletak di Kecamatan Mestong Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, berupa hutan sekunder dataran rendah (Lowland tropical rain forest) bekas terbakar tahun 1997 yang sedang mengalami tahapan suksesi sekunder menuju hutan klimaks. Keseimbangan ekosistem hutan dapat terganggu oleh bencana alam maupun aktivitas manusia. Kebakaran hutan yang terjadi 22 tahun lalu menyebabkan penurunan keanekaragaman hayati, terjadi perubahan pada struktur hutan dan komposisi hutan. Perubahan pada struktur dan komposisi pohon memberi pengaruh yang berbeda pada pertumbuhan epifit dan liana. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari jenis-jenis epifit dan liana di hutan hujan tropis dataran rendah 22 tahun setelah kebakaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode analisis vegetasi dengan petak tunggal berukuran 100 m x 100 m. Data yang diambil meliputi lingkar batang tumbuhan penopang ≥5 cm serta nama lokal dan nama ilmiah. Tumbuhan liana dan epifit yang ditemukan diidentifikasi untuk mengetahui jenisnya, indeks keanekaragaman dan kemerataan epifit dan liana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan 744 individu liana dari 35 spesies yang tergolong ke dalam 19 famili dan 4 individu epifit dari 2 spesies yang tergolong 2 famili. Jenis liana yang sering ditemukan pada inang di dalam plot adalah Gnetum latifolium Blume, sedangkan untuk jenis epifit yaitu Asplenium nidus L dan Davallia denticulata (Burm. F) Mett. Ex Kuhn.

Abstract

Spread of Livistona sp. located in Sungai Gelam Subdistrict, Muaro Jambi Regency in Parit Village, Petaling Jaya Village, Sungai Gelam Village which is the location where this research will be carried out because at that location there are still Livistona sp. The environmental requirements for growing Livistona sp. It is a healthy environment that must be composed of several components with supporting conditions, both physical and biotic components. Therefore, it is important to study the ecology of Serdang (Livistona sp.) in order to provide information that can be used in the sustainable management of these plant species. The ShannonWieners exposure value for plants other than serdang in Parit Village at the seedling level had a value of 2,596 (medium advertising category), 2,887 saplings (medium advertising category), 0,679 poles (low advertising category), 0,461 trees (low advertising category). For biodiversity other than serdang on line two in Petaling Jaya Village at the seedling level it has a value of 2,851 (medium category), 3,001 stakes (medium category), 1,707 poles medium category, trees 1,318 (medium category). The diversity of plants other than serdang on line three in Sungai Gelam Village at the seedling level had a value of 2,196 (moderate diversity category), saplings 2,076 (medium category category), poles and trees 0.596, 0.324 (low category category). Ecological factors around serdang plants for the humidity range of 290C – 30,370C. The condition of the soil at the study site is sandy soil with a pH of 3.75 – 4.89, light intensity ranges from 1137 Lux – 9518 Lux, the amount of light intensity can be affected by vegetation cover. The slope of the place where the prawns grow is between 2% and 4%, which means that the sedge grows on a gentle to slightly steep slope.

Abstract

Indonesia's lowland tropical rain forests are rich in endemic species. One of the problem is lowland forests often experience degradation due to excessive exposure and forest fire. Sultan Thaha Syaifuddin Grand Forest Park or Tahura STS is a part of tropical lowland forests which often experience fires, thus reducing its quality so it needs to be restored with regeneration efforts. The purpose of this study is to get data and information about the potential for lowland forest regeneration in Tahura STS after forest fires. This research was conducted for 8 months from March to October 2021 with location in Tahura STS and Jambi University. Researchers were carried out by making a 20x20 meter nested plot placed on 5 transects along 300 meters for each transect. Each transect contains 6 plots with a placement of 50 meters between plots. From research in the field obtained as many as 143 plant species from various growth stages ranging from seedlings, stakes, poles, trees and basic ground vegetation. These results indicate that the diversity of plants in Tahura STS is high to moderate while the evennes index shows that the plant community in Tahura STS is a stable community. In the early stages it can be concluded that the potential for natural regeneration in Tahura STS is very likely to occur as long as the damaging process is reduced and eliminated.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious infectious disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which can attack various organs. Usually attacks the lungs (Pulmonary TB). Tuberculosis (TB) infection is usually spread through the air, namely by coughing, sneezing or splashing saliva from TB sufferers. This community service aims to increase patients' knowledge about TB disease and preventive measures for TB transmission within the Labuang Baji Regional General Hospital. This community service activity was carried out by delivering educational materials and distributing brochures about TB disease to all patients present. The measuring instrument used in this research was a questionnaire. The results of this study show that of the 15 patients who took part in this activity, only 66% of the patients knew what tuberculosis was in the form of the various symptoms that occurred.

Abstract

Kelapa sawit (Elaeis guineensis) di Provinsi Jambi menjadi salah satu komoditas perkebunan yang memiliki trend pertumbuhan positif. Pada tahun 2015 luas areal kelapa sawit di Jambi sudah mencapai 559.697 ha dengan jumlah produksi 1.963.197 ton. Hal ini didukung oleh peningkatan konversi hutan menjadi kebun kelapa sawit di Jambi sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk mengurangi laju konversi dengan mengembangkan sistem agroforestri kompleks. Sistem agroforestri ini mampu menjadi alternatif yang prospektif untuk menyeimbangkan tujuan ekonomi sekaligus ekologi. Lahan kebun kelapa sawit sangat potensial untuk pengembangan tanaman sela (intercropping) sebagai tanaman campuran dalam pola agroforestrymisalnya dicampur dengan pohon tembesu (Fagraea fragrans).Tembesu merupakan salah satu jenis kayu andalan yang populer diSumatera Bagian Selatan (Sumatera Selatan, Jambi dan Lampung), memiliki nilai ekonomi dan nilai budaya yangtinggi bagi masyarakat lokal.Jenis tanaman hutan yang dipilih untuk kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah tembesu (Fagraea fragrans) dan kelapa sawit (Elaeis guinensis). Tembesu merupakan pohon penghasil kayu untuk tujuan kayu pertukangan dengan karakteristik kayu yang memiliki kelas kuat I-II dan kelas awet I sehingga bernilai ekonomi tinggi. Sedangkan kelapa sawit sebagai primadona tanaman perkebunan yang menjadi sumber penghasil devisa non migas. Kelompok Tani Sumber Rejeki dan Kelompok Tani Bintang Muda di Desa Mudung Darat, Kecamatan Maro Sebo, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi memiliki tanggapan positif terhadap kegiatan pengabdian ini. Hal ini terlihat dari sikap kebersamaan dalam mengambil keputusan dan mengkoordinasikan anggota untuk mempersiapkan kelancaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilaksanakan.
