Abstract

ABSTRAK : Rajungan merupakan komoditas perikanan bernilai ekonomis penting dan memiliki nilai komersial yang cukup tinggi. Salah satu desa yang memproduksi rajungan adalah Desa Betahwalang. Sebagian besar rajungan hasil tangkapan di perairan Betahwalang dikirim untuk di ekspor ke luar negeri. Tingginya permintaan pasar terhadap komoditas perikanan rajungan memicu eksploitasi yang berlebihan sehingga dapat berdampak terhadap kelestarian sumber daya rajungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis sebaran lebar karapas dan proporsi EBF (egg berried female) rajungan di Desa Betahwalang, Demak terkait dengan upaya pengelolaan rajungan secara berkelanjutan sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan no. 1 tahun 2015. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari – Maret 2019 di Desa Betahwalang, Demak menggunakan metode random sampling. Pengukuran rajungan dilakukan di bakul yang ada di Desa Betahwalang, Demak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1003 ekor rajungan (83%) yang tertangkap berukuran >10 cm dari total 1203 rajungan tertangkap. Nisbah kelamin di Desa Betahwalang menunjukkan bahwa antara jantan dan betina seimbang (1:1,06). Sedangkan untuk betina bertelur yang tertangkap (EBF) berjumlah 81 ekor rajungan (13%). ABSTRACT : Blue Swimming Crab is one of fisheries commodity with highly important economical and commerce value. One of the village that produce blue crab is Betahwalang. Most of the crabs are exported. With high demand of blue crab resulting in over exploitation that affects the population of blue crab. The purpose of this research is to analyze the spread of carapace width and the proportion of EBF (Egg Berried Female of the blue swimming crab in Desa Betahwalang, Demak that are related with the continuous management effort of blue crab consistent with Peraturan Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan No 1 Tahun 2015. This research was conducted on February – March 2019 at Desa Betahwalang, Demak using random sampling method. The measurement of blue crab was done on the buyer at Desa Betahwalang, Demak. The results show that 1003 blue crab (83%) that were caught had carapace width more than 10 cm from 1203 blue crab caught. The ratio of male and female crab show that male and female were equal (1:1,06). For the egg berried female (EBF) that were caught shows 81 blue crab caught (13%).

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Desa Ketapang, Pemalang merupakan salah satu sumber potensi tangkapan kepiting yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Tingginya permintaan pasar baik lokal maupun global menyebabkan  naiknya penangkapan kepiting tanpa adanya restocking sepanjang tahun. Hal ini mengkhawatirkan kondisinya di alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memonitoring kepiting bakau (Scylla serrata) di Perairan Desa Ketapang, Pemalang dengan mengetahui distribusi ukuran, pola pertumbuhan dan faktor kondisi, serta nilai parameter pertumbuhan berdasarkan persamaan Von Bertalanff. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2019 dengan 2 kali pengambilan dalam 1 bulan (fase bulan purnama dan fase bulan baru). Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei. Data tangkapan kepiting bakau diperoleh dari hasil tangkapan nelayan yang ada di pengepul kepiting Desa Ketapang. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Ms. Excel 2013 dan FISAT II. Distribusi ukuran rata-rata lebar karapas kepiting pada bulan purnama yaitu 40,38 ± 7,98 mm, sedangkan pada bulan baru yaitu 39,89 ± 6,48 mm. Pola pertumbuhan kepiting pada bulan Oktober – Desember 2019 menunjukkan pola pertumbuhan allometrik negative (b<3) dengan nilai faktor kondisi diatas 100, yang berarti wilayah Perairan Desa Ketapang mempengaruhi pertumbuhan kepiting dari segi sumber makanan. Didapatkan nilai persamaan pertumbuhan pada saat bulan purnama adalah Lt = 30.8 (1-exp(0.51(t+1.93264))) , sedangkan pada bulan baru adalah Lt = 30.5 (1-exp(4.56(t+0.19933))). ABSTRACT: Ketapang is one of village in Pemalang which has potential sources of crab catches that have high economic value. The high demand of local and global markets cause an increasing in crab catch without any restocking throughout the year. It is worrying about its condition in nature. The study aims to monitor mangrove crabs (Scylla serrata) in Ketapang waters, Pemalang by knowing the size distribution, pattern growth, condition factor, and the value of growth parameters based on The equation Von Bertalanff. The study has been conducted in October-December 2019 with 2 retrievals in 1 month (Full moon phase and New Moon phase). The method of collecting data on this study uses the survey method. Mangrove Crab capture Data is obtained from the catch of fishermen in the crab-Pinke Ketapang village. Data was analyse used Ms. Excel 2013 And FISAT II software. The average size distribution of crab carapace in the full moon is 40.38 ± 7.98 mm, while in the New Moon is 39.89 ± 6.48 mm. The pattern of crab growth in October – December 2019 showed negative allometri growth pattern (b<3) with condition factor value above 100, which means the water area of Ketapang village affects the growth of crabs in terms of food sources. Acquired value of growth equation during full moon is Lt = 30.8 (1-exp (0.51 (t + 1.93264))), while the new Moon is Lt = 30.5 (1-exp (4.56 (t + 0.19933))).

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas moluska bentik dan  di lamun asli dan transplantasi di  perairan pulau Panjang kabupaten Jepara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari – Maret 2016. Sampel moluska bentik diambil dengan cara mengambil sedimen terlebih dahulu dan kemudian disaring menggunakan saringan yang memiliki diameter 0,5 mm. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan ditemukan sebanyak 14 spesies. Nilai kelimpahan pada lamun asli berkisar antara 4.00 – 5.56 ind/dm3 dan nilai kelimpahan pada lamun transplantasi antara 2.00 – 2.67 ind/dm3. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman pada lamun asli berkisar antara 0,50 – 0,52, sedangkan pada lamun transplantasi berkisar antara 0,47 – 0,52. Nilai indeks keseragaman pada lamun asli (E = 0,32 -0,33) dan lamun transplantasi (E = 0,30 – 0,33) yang masuk dalam kategori rendah (E > 0,6) di kedua padang lamun tersebut. Nilai indeks dominasi di lamun asli (C = 0,14 – 0,31) dan lamun transplantasi (C = 0,14 – 0,28) menunjukan bahwa tidak ada  jenis moluska bentik yang mendominasi. ABSTRACT : The aims of this research to understand the community structure of bentic mollusc community which lives in Panjang island, Jepara. The research was conduted in January – March 2016. Samples of bentic mollusc were collected  by taking sediment first, then filtered using a sieve (the mesh size of sieve is 0,5 mm). The result of this reseach found as many as 14 species. The value of abundance in nature seagrass ranging from 4.00to 5.56 ind/dm3 and the value of abundance in transplantation seagrass ranging from 2.00 to 2.67 ind/dm3. The value of diversity index in the nature seagrass ranging from 0.50to0.52, while in the transplantation seagrass ranging from 0.47 to 0.52. The value of evenness index in nature seagrass (E = 0.32to 0.33) and transplantation seagrass (E = 0.30 to 0.33) were included in the lower category (E> 0.6) in the second zone. The value of domination index in the nature seagrass (C = 0.14 to 0.31) and transplantation seagrass (C = 0.13 to 0.17) indicates that there are not bentic mollusc species dominates.

Abstract

Human activities such as setlement, harbor, industry and fishing and bivalve catching in the shoreline directly or indirectly will force the changing of waters environment quality, for example the changing of physical and chemical quality of waters. Ecological study on benthic such as bivalve has an important rule because its high life tolerances could describe the environmental changing of the waters. In the dynamic environment, biology analysis, in particular biota benthic community analysis, could give clear description on waters area quality. This research intends to discover point of ecology bivalvia and also examined the correlation of waters quality towards bivalve ecological value. The research was held on March 3, March 24 and April 18, 2012 in 8 stations in Eastern Semarang waters. The material research was bivalve. The research indicates that 10 species from 5 families which are Anadara granosa, Anadara gubernaculum, Anadara inaequivalvis, Anadara pilula, Placuna placenta, Pharella javanica, Siliqua winteriana, Mactra violacea, Marcia hiantina and the highest affluence as 1274,4 Ind/Ha² ( station III), Paphia undulate. Average Diversity index (H’) of bivalve was around 0,3-1,2. Average Uniformity Index (e) was around 0,4-0,9. Bivalve distribution pattern in the research location in general indicated grouped distribution (Clumped). The result of cluster analysis divided 3 class areashile the lowest was found in class I. Double linier regression indicated examined waters parameter which were temperature, salinity, depth, organic content and silt depend on the affluence and diversity of bivalve.

Abstract

Study of copper (Cu) content in water, sediment, and Blood Clam (Anadara granosa) was conducted in coastal waters of Bedono, District Sayung, Demak district in 2010 and 2011. This study was done because coastal waters of Bedono (such as rivers and river Sayung Gonjol) functioned as the disposal trajectory by the industrial area located along the highway Semarang - Demak. This study aimed to analyze the heavy metal content of Cu in coastal waters and Rivers Sayung and River Gonjol, District Sayung, Demak. The study was conducted during low tide conditions (in 2010) and high tides (in 2011). The results showed that in 2010, the copper content in water of River Sayung ranged from 0.003 to 0.056 mg/l, whereas in the River Gonjol, copper content ranged from not detected - 0.026 mg/l. In 2011, copper content in water is not detected, either in the River Sayung and in the River Gonjol. Copper content in the sediment of River Sayung ranged from 4.89 to 28.75 mg/kg, and in River Gonjol from 18.77 to 71.28 mg/kg (in 2010). In 2011, copper content in the sediment of mouth of River Sayung ranged from 16.1 to 25.57 mg/kg, and in the mouth of River Gonjol ranged from 16.69 to 52.72 mg/kg. In 2010, copper content in the soft tissues of the blood clam in the mouth of River Sayung was 29.86 mg/kg, and at 31.2 mg/kg in the mouth of River Gonjol. Meanwhile, in 2011, copper content was not detected in blood clams. Overall, copper content in water, sediment, and blood clams were still below the threshold quality standard set by each authority.

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Lamun merupakan satu-satunya tumbuhan berbunga yang ada di lingkungan laut. Ketersediaan nutrien di lingkungan mempengaruhi pertumbuhan lamun. Nitrat dan fosfat berfungsi sebagai nutrien untuk melangsungkan fotosintesis. Selain masukan dari daratan, nitrat dan fosfat di padang lamun juga berasal dari hasil dekomposisi tumbuhan lamun yang telah mati. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya penelitian mengenai  kandungan nitrat dan fosfat di perairan pada kerapatan lamun yang berbeda. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui korelasi dan kandungan nitrat dan fosfat dalam air dan sedimen di padang lamun perairan Teluk Awur, Jepara pada kerapatan lamun yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif eksploratif dan korelasional, sedangkan metode penentuan lokasi menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel air, sedimen, dan kerapatan lamun. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober – November 2015. Analisis sampel penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Teknik Lingkungan Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Diponegoro. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah kandungan nitrat dalam air 2,487-2,711 mg/L, nitrat dalam sedimen sebesar 6,393-7,288 mg/L, fosfat dalam air sebesar 0,008-0,012 mg/L, dan fosfat dalam sedimen sebesar 3,403-4,171 mg/L. Perairan Teluk Awur, Jepara tergolong kurang subur. Analisis korelasi kandungan nitrat dalam air, nitrat dalam sedimen, fosfat dalam air dan fosfat dalam sedimen dengan kerapatan lamun memiliki nilai korelasi (r) sebesar -0,526; 0,242; 0,110 dan 0,101. Hubungan kandungan nitrat dan fosfat dalam air, dan sedimen  menunjukkan hubungan yang rendah. ABSTRACT : Seagrass is the only flower plant in marine environment. Nutrient availability in environment affects the growth of sea grass. Nitrate and phosphate have a role as the nutrient supplier/source for photosynthesis. Besides input from the land, nitrate and phosphate in seagrass field also come from the result of decomposition of dead seagrass. Therefore, a research about nitrate and phosphate content in water at different seagrass density should be conducted.The purpose of this research was to known correlation and  content of nitrate and phosphate in water and sediment of seagrass bed in Teluk Awur waters, Jepara at different seagrass density. This research used a descriptive explorative method and correlational method, while the method for location decision was using purposive sampling method. The materials used in this research were water, sediment, and seagrass density. This research was conducted in October until November 2015. The sample analysis  for this research was done in laboratory of environment technique of Technique Faculty, Diponegoro University. The results obtained from this research showed that nitrate content in water was 2.487-2.711 mg/L, nitrate content in sediment was 6.393-7.288 mg/L, phosphate content in water was 0.008-0.012 mg/L, and phosphate content in sediment was 3.403-4.171 mg/L. The seagrass abundance of Teluk Awur waters, Jepara was categorized to low abundance rate. The analysis of correlation among nitrate and phosphate in water and sediment towards seagrass density pointed correlation value (r) as follows: -0.526; 0.242; 0.110 and 0.101. The relationship between nitrate and phosphate in water and in sediment with the density was estimated  weak relations.

Abstract

Mangrove merupakan salah satu ekosistem pesisir yang mempunyai peranan penting di daerah estuari. Habitat mangrove sangat rawan terkena pencemaran logam berat, baik yang berasal dari laut maupun dari daerah darat. Rhizophora mucronata merupakan spesies mangrove yang hidup di daerah aliran sungai sebagai mayor dengan populasi terbanyak dan paling sering ditemukan, sedangkan Pb adalah salah satu polutan logam berat yang paling banyak dilepaskan oleh usaha industri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat pengaruh pemberian logam berat Pb pada media lingkungan terhadap akumulasinya pada akar dan daun serta pertumbuhan anakan mangrove Rhizophora mucronata. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimental selama 40 hari, dengan pemberian konsentrasi Pb 0,1; 1; 10; dan 100 ppm, ditanam di dalam  pot ember berukuran diameter 50 cm dan tinggi 30 cm, di dalam rumah kaca yang berukuran 5,5 x 2 x 1,5 m. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian konsentrasi Pb yang berbeda tidak setabil di akar maupun di daun, ini memperlihatkan bahwa konsentrasi perlakuan logam berat tidak dapat mencerminkan tingkat akumulasi logam berat pada Rhizophora mucronata. Hasil uji GLM (General Linear Model) dari pengolahan data spss pemberian Pb dengan konsentrasi yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan anakan mangrove Rhizophora mucronata (p ≥ 0,05) selama 40 hari penelitian.

Abstract

A biondicator approach in knowing the possible contamination of Tributyltin in the water of the Port of Tanjung Mas Semarang study has been carried out analysis imposex the tiger snail (B. spirata spirata). During April-Mei 2013, a total of 127 of the tiger snail were collected from study areas. Analysis on male sexual organs characteristics in female of the tiger snail indicated the extensive imposex phenomenom in study areas with frequency of imposex in population of the tiger snail in the Port of Tanjung Mas Semarang up to 50,84% where size of pseudopenis in female imposex of the tiger snail (± 3-10 mm) with a value of Relative Penis Size Index 93,172% with sex ratio between male of the tiger snail and female is 1:3.

Abstract

Keberadaan hutan mangrove, khususnya di Kota Semarang sangat rentan terhadap berbagai macam kerusakan yang ditimbulkan akibat erosi, abrasi dan konversi lahan, sehinga perlu dilakukan upaya rehabilitasi untuk memulihkan kembali kondisi hutan mangrove. Kegiatan rehabilitasi memang sudah dilakukan, tetapi tingkat keberhasilan di tiap kawasan memiliki perbedaan yang cukup bervariasi tergantung dari kondisi lingkungan setempat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober-Desember 2013 di kawasan rehabilitasi mangrove Kelurahan Karanganyar dan Pantai Maron Kelurahan Tambakharjo, Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan perairan di kawasan rehabilitasi mangrove Kelurahan Karanganyar dan Pantai Maron Kelurahan Tambakharjo, Semarang sesuai bagi kehidupan mangrove. Hal ini terlihat dari sebagian besar parameter lingkungan perairan yang masih berada dalam batas kisaran optimum bagi kehidupan mangrove

Abstract

ABSTRAK : Rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi, berbanding lurus dengan penangkapan yang meningkat. Tingkat pemanfaatan yang tidak konservatif akan mempengaruhi  ukuran dan kondisi rajungan di suatu populasi, serta stok rajungan di suatu perairan. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui kajian konservasi rajungan (Portunus pelagicus) berdasarkan morfometri dan sex ratio yang didaratkan oleh nelayan  di Perairan Desa Gegunung Wetan, Kecamatan Rembang, Kabupaten Rembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian bersifat deskriptif. Pengamatan rajungan dilakukan pada salah satu pengepul di Desa. Rajungan di amati berdasarkan morfometri dan sex rasio selama 30 hari. Hasil Informasi dapat dijadikan pedoman dalam menentukan kebijakan mengenai pengelolaan perikanan rajungan yang berkelanjutan dan bersifat konservatif. Hasil dari penelitian diketahui bahwa kelimpahan rajungan jantan sebesar 46% (1379 ekor) rajungan betina 56% (1621 ekor) dari 3000 ekor sampel rajungan. Rasio perbandingan jantan dan betina 1:1,18. Berdasarkan distribusi ukuran lebar karapas rajungan di perairan Rembang adalah berkisar anatara 72–167  mm dan distribusi berat sebesar 40–303 gram. Distribusi tingkat kematangan gonad pada perairan Rembang adalah 608 ekor pada TKG 1; 658 ekor pada TKG 2; dan 355 pada TKG 3. Data menunjukan bahwa pola pertumbuhan rajungan yang ada di perairan Rembang adalah allometrik negatif  baik rajungan jantan maupun rajungan betina. Abstract: Blue swimming crab (Portunus pelagicus) has a high economic value, directly proportional to the increased catch. The level of non-conservation utilization will affect the size and condition of the blue swimming crab in a population, as well as the blue swimming crab stock in a waters. This study is aimed to determine the blue swimming crab conservation study (Portunus pelagicus) based on morphometry and sex ratio brought by fishermen in the waters of Gegunung Wetan Village, Rembang District, Rembang Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive. Observation of blue swimming crab samples was carried out in one of the collectors in the village. Blue swimming crab was observed based on morphometry and sex ratio for 30 days. Informative results can be used as a guide in determining policies regarding sustainable and conservation management of blue swimming crab fisheries. The results of the study revealed that the abundance of male blue swimming crab was 46% (1379 male blue swimming crab) and the abundance of the female blue swimming crab was 56%  (1621 female blue swimming crab) of 3000 blue swimming crab samples. The ratio of male and female  is 1:1.18. Based on the size distribution of the width of the blue swimming crab carapace in the waters of Getanung Wetan it ranges from 72-167 mm and the distribution of weight is 40-303 grams. 13.8% (413 blue swimming crab) sized≤10 cm and 86.2% (2587 blue swimming crab) sized ≥10 cm. The distribution of gonad maturity level in the waters of Gegunung Wetan is 608 female blue swimming crab at TKG 1; 658 female blue swimming crab at TKG 2; and 355 female blue swimming crab at TKG 3. There were 355 female blue swimming crab (22%) of the total female blue swimming crab laying eggs. The data showed that the blue swimming crab growth pattern in Gegunung Wetan waters was negative allometric both male and female blue swimming crab.
