Abstract

Sudah menjadi pengetahuan umum bahwa industri manufaktur perkembangannya semakin meningkat dari waktu ke waktu sehingga para pelaku industripun harus selalu siap berkompetisi. Masalah dan faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan peningkatan produktifitas tetap perlu dan layak untuk diteliti agar tercipta peningkatan produktivitas yang sesuai dengan harapan dari para pelaku industri. PT. XY  merupakan salah satu perusahaan mainan anak yang ingin melakukan perbaikan metode kerja dan waktu kerja dalam usaha meningkatkan produktivitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan Micromotion Study dan Kaizen yang kemudian dituangkan dalam peta tangan kiri dan tangan kanan. Pengolahan data dan pembahasan dilakukan dengan membuat data pengukuran yang terdiri dari waktu perakitan  sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan analisis Micromotion Study dan Kaizen, data pengamatan tersebut kemudian dituangkan dalam peta tangan kanan dan tangan kiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan perbaikan rancangan kerja (redesign) dan pengurangan waktu pekerjaan di bagian perakitan balok dan pengemasan. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan penurunan waktu kerja sebesar 144 detik dimana waktu sebelum perbaikan sebesar 424 detik, setelah perbaikan sebesar 280 detik, dan hasil dari kaizen berupa perbaikan lay out kerja di lokasi perakitan dan pengemasan balok kayu di PT. XY.

Abstract

Gondola is one of the facilities used in high-rise buildings that are used to access the outside of the building. Gondola has a maximum load limit that is safe to transport it. Gondola is also often damaged in the cage caused by collisions on the side of the building. Until now, the gondola control still uses buttons which also often experience problems. This study aims to provide monitoring of the cage load and provide information about the distance of the cage to surrounding objects. Gondola control through an android application also includes this research in order to provide an alternative if the buttons on the gondola control experience problems. The short-term goal of this research is to carry out an innovation in the gondola field by conducting experiments through prototypes. The medium term goal is to apply the results of this research into a gondola. The results of this study control and monitoring can function properly even though the results produced are not yet accurate due to the imperfect quality of components, materials and assembly.

Abstract

Turbin angin adalah kincir angin yang bermanfaat untuk membangkitkan tenaga listrik. Dalam kebutuhan akan energi untuk memenuhi perkembangan jaman mengakibatkan bahan bakar dari fosil meningkat, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan energi alternatif lain untuk mengatasi semakin berkurangnya bahan bakar fosil. Salah satu bentuk energi yang ada di alam adalah angin. Oleh karena itu turbin angin mulai dimanfaatkan sebagai pembangkit listrik energi alternatif. Tujuan perancangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menguji penggunaan panjang blade 43 cm ,53 cm, dan 63 cm dengan jumlah blade 3 buah yang menghasilkan tegangan output turbin yang paling besar dengan turbin tipe horizontal yang akan digunakan di area rooftop Universitas Global Jakarta. Metode perancangan adalah menguji turbin angin tipe horizontal yang digunakan memiliki 3 blade dari bahan besi plat (log fuam) dengan ketebalan 1,2 mm. Hasil perancangan blade menunjukkan bahwa data teoritis pada kecepatan angin tertinggi yaitu 3,3 m/s dapat menghasilkan tegangan output turbin sebesar 11,56 volt dan kecepatan putaran poros sebesar 416,8 Rpm. Pada kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan angin dan ukuran blade sangat mempengaruhi tegangan output turbin dan kecepatan putaran poros dari hasil perancangan.

Abstract

5S is a work culture from Japan that is easy to apply in daily activities, the 5S concept is simple so that it is easy for anyone to understand and understand. The introduction of 5S to Trimitsa Plus Vocational High School students was preceded by introducing what S consists of five parts, namely Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu and Shitsuke. The implementation of community service activities for SMK Plus Trimitsa students is a form of the JGU campus' contribution to the surrounding environment. This activity involved JGU campus students and lecturers who served as material presenters, escorted educational games about 5S and also helped implement 5S in the SMK Plus Trimitsa workshop. Students of SMK Plus Trimitsa are given the opportunity to ask questions and answers about 5S so that they can have the same understanding as the presenter of the material and games related to 5S, namely the game of arranging numbers and letters from boxes containing scattered numbers and letters. The aim is for students to be able to understand that there is a difference between messy and tidy working conditions where if a messy work environment will make it difficult for us to work.

Abstract

PT EFG is a lubricant company that maintains customer satisfaction by producing quality products, starting from supply of raw materials, production process until final product. Company tries to minimize damage, but there are still many leaking products and not according to standards. This study aims to control quality using seven tools method to reduce leaking bottles of 800ml size, from January-October 2022, the biggest is fish eyes. The highest amount of damage occurred in June at 0.0039%, exceeding the maximum damage limit of 0.003%. Improvements are divided by external and internal. External, from the supplier are cleaning the mold cavity, cleaning remaining material on the mold, and maintaining the cleanliness of plastic seeds. Suppliers ensure the leak tester are detected and not sent to PT EFG. Internal, are carried out by improving the leak detection of the led light table machine and changing the random sampling method when material incoming from suppliers.

Abstract

Productivity is one of the main factors in the company where productivity will affect the production output. This research was conducted on the wire handling process and the method used was work sampling and standard time determination, where previously statistical calculations were carried out to see the uniformity of the data and also the adequacy of the data. The method used in this study is the work sampling method, where time data sampling is done using a table of random numbers. In addition, standard time calculations are also carried out. The results obtained are productive activities as many as 160 out of 200 observations or by 80% and non-productive activities by 40 out of 200 observations or by 20%. Statistical testing for data uniformity shows that the observation data from the first day to the fifth day are (1) 0.80 (2) 0.80 (3) 0.825 (4) 0.80 (5) 0.775 still within the upper control limit and the lower control limit, which are 1.1 respectively. and 0.5. Sampling of the work that has been done can be concluded that with a 95% confidence level the percentage of working time that can be used productively by workers is 80% with a conclusion error rate of 10%. The standard time calculation obtained is 125.12 minutes for the wire handling process where this can still be improved if the operator is given training.

Abstract

PT MCM, a company that manufactures heavy equipment components, has problems in the tank manufacturing process. There are several wastes that occur, namely process time, machine and equipment layout, one of which causes the length of the process time. This study aims to analyse the production process activities and provide improvement suggestions through the Lean Manufacturing approach with detailed processes using the Operation Procces Chart. This is followed by a visual method using Value Stream Mapping. The results of the improvements made include replacing jib cranes with overhead cranes, adding work aids such as vertical lifters and permanent magnet lifters, changing the use of CO₂ gas tubes in welding from single tubes to cradles, changing the use of wire welding from rollers to wire tubes, and improving layouts to minimise the movement of the production process to be more optimal. The efficiency achieved can increase the number of tank production from 38 units to 39 units per month, improve the layout of the tank production process saving space up to 35, 81%, improve the standard time reduced to 33.33%.

Abstract

PT MM aims to enhance efficiency in filling oxygen gas and reduce transportation routes by employing forklifts. They have reconfigured the company's oxygen gas supply area by eliminating damaged machines and relocating the functional ones to a new area. The proposed solution for the company involves redesigning the layout of the laser cutting machine area and optimizing it using the seven-waste method. The re-layout procedure comprises three steps: analyzing the initial layout, designing alternative layouts based on Lean Manufacturing principles, and evaluating and selecting the best layout. The alternative layout results in improved material handling efficiency and reduced transportation distances. The outcomes of this redesign included the removal of the MCP storage area, which was replaced by a minibulk and a pipe installation that connects the minibulk to each laser cutting machine. By eliminating the 20-meter square MCP tube storage area, forklift mileage in the laser cutting machine area was significantly reduced. Overall, these changes led to a 30% reduction in costs, calculated from the difference between monthly rental costs and usage costs. This initiative supports green manufacturing by decreasing Nox emissions through reduced forklift usage.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki kontribusi yang besar terhadap perekonomian Indonesia. Namun, hampir semua sektor usaha, terutama UMKM, terpengaruh oleh dampak ekonomi yang ditimbulkan oleh pandemi Covid-19. Pandemi ini menyebabkan Indonesia mengalami penurunan pertumbuhan ekonomi sekitar 0,1% pada tahun 2020. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh para pelaku usaha terletak pada aspek pemasaran, yang sebelumnya mengandalkan penjualan langsung. Transaksi jual-beli yang biasanya dilakukan secara tatap muka sekarang harus bergeser ke ranah online secara digital. Namun kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai digital menjadi penghambat dalam prosesnya, hal ini pun dirasakan oleh UMKM Keripik Basreng Bibu di Kelurahan Tirtajaya. Minimnya informasi mengenai digital dan usaha yang masih konvensional dari pemasaran, manajemen keuangan hingga produksi menyebabkan rendahnya tingkat keberlangsungan usaha UMKM Keripik Basreng Bibu. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelaku usaha khususnya UMKM Keripik Basreng BIBU dalam literasi digital dan literasi finansial. Penggunaan teknologi informasi diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi bagi pelaku UMKM dalam mengatasi masalah penjualan, pemasaran, dan keuangan. Namun, tantangan muncul karena kesulitan dalam penerapan teknologi informasi, khususnya bagi pedagang pasar atau pelaku usaha. Perubahan perilaku yang berbasis digital memerlukan pelatihan dan pendampingan di bidang penjualan, pemasaran, dan keuangan. Solusi untuk mitra saat ini adalah pelatihan literasi digital dan literasi finansial, serta pendampingan dalam digital marketing, pengemasan, dan pencatatan keuangan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan usaha UMKM Keripik Basreng Bibu.
