Abstract

Masyarakat adil dan makmur merupakan cita-cita bangsa Indonesia yang sesungguhnya. Cita-cita ini bahkan sudah diamantkan dalam pembukaan UUD 1945. Upaya perwujudan masyarakat adil dan makmur dapat dilaksanakan melalui penyelenggaraan sistem pendidikan nasional. Dalam kerangka sistem kenegaraan sangat disadari bahwa adil dan makmur merupakan hak segala warga bangsa Indonesia. Pancasila sebagai ideologi dan falsafah bangsa serta UUD 1945 merupakan suatu cita-cita besar yang dapat memberikan jaminan bagi masyarakat Indonesia yang memiliki keadilan dan kemakmuran hidup jika semua itu dapat diwujudkan. Sebagai warga Indonesia semangat dan optimisme terhadap perwujudan masyarakat yang adil dan makmur tentulah tak boleh sirna, bahkan harus dipupuk serta berkarya dengan baik dan jujur untuk menggapai cita-cita luhur bangsa. Oleh karenanya diperlukan terobosan pedagogis pendidikan.

Abstract

Madrasah merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang lahir dari dan untuk masyarakat. Dengan memposisikan madrasah sama dengan sekolah umum, maka ada kecenderungan dalam masyarakat Indonesia yang tamat madrasah untuk melanjutkan pendidikan di perguruan tinggi umum. Namun, untuk melahirkan alumni yang kompeten dibutuhkan standarisasi Bila standarisasi sudah terintegralisasi dengan baik maka alumni madrasah tidak dianggap sebagai alumni kelas dua. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitik dan kooperatif, dan yang menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah semua komponen yang ada di Universitas Jambi. Penentuan subjek penelitian dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling (sampel bertujuan). Secara akademik, alumni madrasah yang ada di Universitas Jambi pada umumnya memiliki nilai akademik yang memadai dan dapat dikatakan mahasiswa berprestasi bila dilihat dari indek prestasi dan ko kurikuler. Akan tetapi sangat disayangkan tidak semua alumni madrasah memiliki kemampuan yang sama karena keterbatasan mereka di bidang informasi dan teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain scientific information on the achievement and effectiveness of Mahad Al-Jamiah program management. The research method used is evaluative research. Data collection using observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires / questionnaires, and document review. Methods of data analysis using descriptive and qualitative quantitative methods. The results of the research obtained the evaluation results obtained value of each aspect, namely: 1) functionalization of management functions Mahad Al-Jamiah 75.46 good category, 2) 100 curriculum management very good category, 3) mahasantri management 80 categories good, 4) management of facilities and infrastructure 71.42 good category, 5) management of educators and education 60 categories enough, 6) public relations management 0 categories very kuran, and 8) special service management 60 categories enough. The results of this evaluation provide advice to the leadership Mahad Al-Jamiah to run the organizing function that is to formulate and determine the methods and procedures, and select and conduct training and education of educators and educational. Furthermore, it is expected that the leadership of Mahad Al-Jamiah to make contact with the community, financial supervision, and form the committee acceptance mahad students.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian pendampingan guru PAUD ini didorong oleh pesatnya pertambahan jumlah satuan PAUD di Kabupaten Kerinci. Kondisi ini memunculkan problematika baru bagi guru PAUD yaitu dominasi guru honorer berkualifikasi pendidikan yang tidak linier dengan bidang keahliannya. Permasalahan ini berakibat pada rendahnya pengalaman mengajar yang terindikasi pada kurang mampu menentukan metode, media, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut maka kami melaksanakan pengabdian masyarakat dengan pola pendampingan. Metode pendampingan dilakukan dengan langkah-langkah: koordinasi dengan pengurus gugus, FGD , orientasi, workshop , unjuk kerja, verifikasi, dan kunjungan ke sekolah. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian pendampingan guru PAUD ini berdampak positif meningkatkan kompetensi dan keterampilan guru. Kegiatan kunjungan kami ke sekolah juga berdampak positif pada penguatan persepsi dan komitmen para guru untuk melakukan perubahan dalam institusi. Hasil kegiatan ini menyarankan kepada Perguruan Tinggi (akademisi) agar intens melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada sekolah dengan mencermati isu-isu yang berhubungan dengan pihak sekolah. Selanjutnya disarankan kepada pihak sekolah agar aktif dan terbuka membangun hubungan dengan Perguruan Tinggi untuk mendapatkan peluang dan peningkatan fasilitas kompetensi melalui kontribusi akademis secara simultan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the lack of application of traditional game concepts to develop children's gross motor skills in the learning process. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, data verification and trust test using data triangulation. The results of this study are that the concept of gross motor development in the learning system at Kindergarten Melati II Telanaipura can be said to be good, due to the assistance of the habituation activity method carried out by the teacher. The concept of applying traditional games in developing gross motor skills at Kindergarten Melati II Telanaipura can also be said to be optimal with the help of teachers and directions from teachers. Although there are inhibiting factors in carrying out the jump rope game, namely from the environment and parents.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the efforts of school principals in improving teacher performance, explain the inhibiting and supporting factors in efforts to improve teacher performance. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive basis carried out at Darul Ulum Private Junior High School, Batanghari Regency. The data collection technique uses observation techniques, interviews, documentation and field notes. This research produces three things, namely: (1) The principal's efforts to improve teacher performance that have been carried out by the principal are by making good efforts in improving performance, starting from planning before the teaching and learning process is carried out such as conducting a school work program meeting, assigning tasks to teachers according to their abilities, and by supervising teacher performance. In addition, efforts in organizing are carried out to improve teacher performance, such as placing and assigning tasks that are in accordance with the teacher's ability, completing facilities and infrastructure, and the principal makes efforts internally by establishing cooperation or good relations with educators, providing learning opportunities to develop the abilities of educators. (2 Factors that are supporters and hinders in improving teacher performance at SMPs Darul Ulum Batanghari Regency are, educators at SMPs Darul Ulum Batanghari Regency who should each be given one subject but given more than one subject, and there are also still some teachers who teach not in accordance with their educational background, this can be said that SMPs Darul Ulum Batanghari Regency still needs several professional teachers which can help the teaching and learning process, as for the supporting factors in addition to the quality of teachers who want to develop their abilities as well as the establishment of good communication because of the cooperation carried out by educators is also the head of the teacher. Factors that are obstacles or supporters can be implemented and overcome if there is cooperation and is done well. The conclusion of this study is that the principal's efforts to improve performance at the school already exist but are not optimal, because there are still several obstacles including those who should be given one subject each but given more than one subject, and there are also still some teachers who teach not in accordance with their educational background, this can be said that SMPs Darul Ulum Batanghari Regency still needs efforts principals in improving the performance of their teachers

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the reality of Free Learning which is applied to Sokola Rimba in the Bukit Dua Belas National Park, Jambi Province. The history of the emergence of Sokola Rimba and Sokola Rimba in implementing Free Learning. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. The use of this qualitative approach is because the data to be disclosed is data in the form of opinions, views, comments, criticisms, and reasons. Data collection methods used by observation, interviews, and document review. The research subjects are the founders of the jungle school, Tumanggung, the leaders and students of the jungle school. The results of the study were: 1) the spirit of an initiator so that jungle people can communicate and interact normally with the world of information and technology so that the quality of life increases which ultimately makes jungle people able to compete fairly, 2) learning in jungle schools is carried out naturally, not there is a grade level grouping that shows the level of material that the jungle people must follow, 3) the attitude of groups and individuals in implementing jungle school is relatively low, the high mobility of jungle people in everyday life is a challenge for the jungle school implementation in carrying out the learning process less than optimal, access the road to enter the jungle forest which is relatively far away, and the availability of facilities and infrastructure for the jungle school which is relatively minimal is one of the main obstacles to organizing the jungle school, as well as geographical conditions where the distance between the huts and the houses where they live is relatively far away.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas penerapan discrepancy evaluation model (DEM) dalam manajemen pengawas Taman Kanak-Kanak di Tebo. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian evaluatif dengan mengadopsi DEM. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan diskusi kelompok terfokus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial pengawas dalam mendampingi sekolah TK memperoleh skor kriteria 60,1 (kategori C, cukup), dengan discrepancy sebesar 39,9%. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengawas belum sepenuhnya memenuhi standar manajerial yang baik dalam tugas pendampingan. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pendampingan, pengawas diharapkan mampu melaksanakan fungsi manajemen secara lebih baik, termasuk perencanaan, pengorganisasian sumber daya, penyusunan langkah pendampingan, pengarahan, dan refleksi. Selain itu, dibutuhkan keterbukaan emosional dan koneksi yang kuat antara pengawas dan pihak sekolah untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan secara optimal. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan kompetensi manajerial pengawas dalam pendampingan sekolah untuk mencapai hasil yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that there are still many children of Al-Falah Kindergarten in Kerinci who consume Fast food both purchased at school and provisions brought from home. This study aims to analyze the role of schools in dealing with market trends and children's tendency to consume fast food at Al-Falah Kindergarten Kerinci. The method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data is obtained from incidents, responses, and related documents. The research subjects consist of principals, teachers, and students. Data analysis uses flow model analysis techniques, which include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The validity of the data was checked through several steps, such as extension of participation in the field, extension of observation, and the application of triangulation. Triangulation is carried out by examining information from various sources and methods to ensure the validity of the findings. The results of the study show that schools have played an active role in educating children about the importance of a healthy diet. The programs implemented, such as balanced nutrition campaigns, cooking activities involving children, and counseling to parents about the dangers of fast food, are concrete steps in supporting healthy eating habits. However, even though these efforts have gone well, there are obstacles that affect their effectiveness. One of the main obstacles is the dependence of parents on fast food due to time constraints and work pressure. These barriers reduce the long-term impact of the programs implemented by schools. Therefore, further collaboration is needed between schools and parents to create an environment that supports healthy eating habits at home
