Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to review the research on knowledge creation in small and medium industries, to identify gaps in research that exist today as the direction of future research. The study was conducted by reviewing systematically at 9 articles in the field of knowledge creation in small and medium industries. Area of knowledge management in small and medium industries are still very rare, especially in the measurement of output and outcome results from the process of knowledge creation. In the process of knowledge creation there have been several studies but still generally in the form of exploratory research. Research to measure knowledge creation process with quantitative methods still exist. This study only uses an article published in Inside Emerald alone so it can not identify the research in the field of knowledge creation in small and medium industries in full. However, this study has contributed in terms of the direction on knowledge creation in small and medium industries to do in the future. Based on the authors understanding there has been no systematic systematic literature review in this field, published in scientific journals.

Abstract

Abstak   Transfer pengetahuan adalah proses belajar suatu unit organisasi berdasarkan pengalaman dari unit organisasi  lain. Keberhasilan transfer pengetahuan tergantung dari keputusan penerima untuk menolak atau menerima pengetahuan baru dari sumber. Industri kecil modern mulai banyak diterapkan pada beberapa usaha kecil maupun industri rumah tangga. Penelitain ini bertujuan menganalisis apakah ada pengaruh transfer pengetahuan (knowledge transfer) yang telah dilakukan oleh Dinas Koperasi Mikro Dan Usaha Kecil Menengah Bangkalan dan Dinas Pertanian, serta instansi pemerintah yang lainnya terhadap kelompok Tani Ambudi Makmur 2, sebagai salah satu kelompok tani percontohan di Kabupaten Bangkalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif untuk menganalisis karakteristik responden dan variabel-variabel penelitian melalui distribusi frekuensi dan persentase, disamping itu peneliti juga menggunakan analisis paired sample T-Test untuk membandingkan kondisi kelompok tani setelah menerima transfer pengetahuan dengan sebelum menerima transfer pengetahuan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian terdapat peningkatan profitabilitas sesudah terjadi transfer pengetahuan dibandingkan profitabilitas sebelum ada transfer pengetahuan yaitu sebesar 24%. Kata kunci : Transfer Pengetahuan, Kelompok Tani, Profitabilitas, paired sample T-Test  Abstract Transfer of knowledge is the process of learning an organizational unit based on the experiences of other organizational units. The success of knowledge transfer depends on the recipient's decision to reject or accept the new knowledge from the source. Modern small industry began widely applied to several small businesses and home industries. This research aims to analyze whether there is the effect of knowledge transfer  that has been done by the Department of  Small and Medium Enterprises Bangkalan and the Department of Agriculture, as well as other government agencies to Ambudi Makmur 2, as a pilot group of farmers in Bangkalan. This research uses descriptive analytical method  to analyze the characteristics of  respondents and the research variables through frequency distributions and  percentages, besides that researchers also used the analysis of paired sample T-Test to compare the condition of the farmer groups after receiving the transfer of knowledge and before receiving a transfer of knowledge. The research results have improved profitability after a transfer of knowledge compared to profitability before the transfer of knowledge that is equal to 24%.Key words: Knowledge Transfer, Farmers Group, Profitability, paired sample T-Test

Abstract

Previous research was built the effectiveness of knowledge transfer model from University to Small Industries. The model was validated by enterviews with expert from Trunojoyo University and the owner of Small Industry in Bangkalan. This research is validating the previous ones quantitatively by using questioner. Validated was done in Trunojoyo University and Small Industry in Bangkalan. This research used 22 processes transfered. Based on unit analisys there were two kind of respondents : (1) 22 lecturers as resource of transfer knowledge, (2) 4 small industries as receiver of transfer knowledge. Data was calculated using SEM based PLS. From the calculated the most factors that affect the effectiveness of knowledge transfer from University to Small Industries are direction of knowledge transfer, availability of receiver, form of knowledge, information system and personal relationship. There are relationship between endogenous variable as previous model. Only one relationship that not significant was relationship between environment characteristic and receiver characteristic.

Abstract

Efisiensi  dalam  produksi  dapat  tercapai  jika  sumber  daya  yang tersedia dapat dialokasikan secara efektif dan efisien dengan didukung fasilitas produksi baik. Salah satu fasilitas produksi yang berpengaruh pada jalannya produksi yaitu mesin NC Panel Saw yang merupakan mesin potong yang bergerak pada pemotongan awal / proses awal cabinet IV yang bertanggung jawab pada produk–produk TV Stand. Adanya upaya efisiensi produksi pada cabinet IV khususnya pada mesin NC Panel Saw, maka penelitian ini ingin mengetahui pengaruh mesin NC Panel Saw terhadap efisiensi produksi sehingga menghasilkan waste yang minimum dengan menggunakan pendekatan Barbiroli. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh hasil bahwa indikator-indikator yang dikembangkan dalam metode ini terlihat mampu untuk mempresentasikan berbagai segi efisiensi dari sebuah proses khususnya dari segi teknis dan teknologi yang memiliki keterkaitan dengannya dengan adanya faktor-faktor ini, pengukuran efisiensi keseluruhan pada mesin NC Panel Saw dari segi proses dapat dilakukan dengan baik. Kata kunci : Efisiensi, NC Panel Saw, Barbiroli    Efficiency in a production can be reached if availability of resources are allocating effectively and efficiency.  One of production facility is NC Panel Saw machine. NC Panel Saw is a cutting machine in the beginning of cabinet IV that produced TV Stand. This research try to analyze the relationship NC Panel Saw machine with production efficiency to reduce waste using Barbiroli method. The result from the research that indicators using barbiroli method can present any sides of efficiency, specially technique and technology. The measurement of efficiency  NC Panel Saw machine in PT. Abstract

Sebagian besar universitas menawarkan suatu unit yang mendukung pendidikannya. Salah satu unit yang mendukung aktivitas tersebut adalah perpustakaan. Perpustakaan sebagai salah satu unit penyedia pendukung kegiatan perkuliahan hendaknya dapat menarik mahasiswa untuk menggunakan fasilitas yang ditawarkan. Tanpa ada ketertarikan dan kenyamanan mahasiwa untuk menggunakan fasilitas perpustakaan maka keberadaan perpustakaan tersebut akan menjadi hal yang sia- sia. Mahasiswa S2 yang berkumjumg pada perpustakaan Teknik Industri PTN X sangat kurang. Mereka lebih nyaman berkunjung pada perpustakaan pusat. Paper ini bertujuan untuk meneliti bagaimana penilaian dan keinginan mahasiswa S2 Teknik Industri terhadap fasilitas yang diberikan oleh perpustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel sebanyak 25 orang mahasiswa S2 yang aktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah wawancara dan kuesioner (metode Survei) dengan menggunakan dimensi Parasuraman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa semua gab variabel bernilai negatif, tiga variabel dengan nilai negatif tertinggi antara lain Better -1,65, Reliability -1,48, Faster -1,43 yang berarti mahasiswa S2 Teknik Industri PTN X masih kurang puas dengan fasilitas yang disediakan Perpustakaan Teknik Industri PTN X. Kata kunci: perpustakaan, kepuasan pelanggan, perguruan tinggi AbstractMost universities offer a unit that supports education. One of the units that support these activities is the library. Library as one unit of activity classes, support providers should be able to attract students to use the facilities offered. Without the interest and convenience of students to use library facilities, the existence of these libraries will be futile. Graduated Students that visit Industrial Engineering library in PTN X is very lacking. They are more comfortable visiting the central library. This paper aims to examine how assessment and Graduated Students of Industrial Engineering desires of the facilities provided by the library. This study using a sample of 25 active graduated students. The method used was interviews and questionnaires (survey method) using Parasuraman dimension. Based on research result shows that all variables have negative gab value, the worst of variables are Better -1,65, Reliability -1,48, Faster -1,43, which means that graduated students of Industrial Engineering is still not satisfied with the facilities provided by the Library of Industrial Engineering in PTN X. Keywords: libraries, customer catisfaction, higher education

Abstract

Small industries is once of the informal sector that can solve employee’s problems. The small industries main problems in indonesia is unknowledgeable. This point is the importantweakness of the small industries in Indonesia. For this purpose, it needs institutions to make the small industries in Indonesia knowledgeable with knowledge transfer program. One of the institution is university. University as the center of knowledge, have to does the knowledge transfer effectively. Based on this problem, it needs to build the effectiveness of knowledge transfer model. This paper is a begining research that has a purpose to build the model of knowledge transfer from University to Small Industries. As a beginning research this paper uses literature study for building the model and interview for validating. Based on literature study, the  conceptual model was built from 6 (six) dimensions as key factors of knowledge transfer (endogenous variables) (characteristics of university, characteristics of small industries,characteristics of media, characteristics of knowledge,  characteristics of environment and the effectiveness of knowledge transfer) and 29 exogenous variables. The model was validated by enterviews with expert from Trunojoyo University and the owner of Small Industry in Bangkalan. From validating, the model was built from 6 endogenous variabels 26 exogenous variables.

Abstract

Postal service is one of business that always needed. Postal service has a lot of customers such as students, businessman, educations area, bank area, etc. Because of that reason, the competitiveness of portal service business is very high. Each of portal service has to increase their service to get their customers. The first research is about service quality and customer satisfaction in the postal service in Sadang Serang, Bandung. From that one the quality of services is grouped as Reliability, Assurance, Tangible, Empathy and Responsiveness. The result of the first study, all of indicators have negative gabs. These research is about service quality improvement to develop postal service in Sadang Serang. For improving the service, this research using Deming Wheel Cycle (Plan - Do - Check - Action). The result there are improvement in physically and non physically aspect.
