Abstract

Abstract Maintenance is an important process in human resource management in order to ensure the performance of a company. This research applied qualitative research with case study strategy in purpose of determining the maintenance of human resources at Jember Taxi as one of taxi transportation service companies in Jember. Data were collected by using in-depth interviews supported by a variety of archives and documentation and triangulation techniques. Data were analyzed by using Interactive Data Model Analysis. The results showed that the maintenance of human resources in Jember Taxis was not managed effectively in terms of aspects of planning, program implementation method, quality control and evaluation. It was indicated by data on turnover of human resources, so that the growth of company income declined throughout 2015. The importance of maintenance in boosting the company's performance requires Jember Taxi to improve the implementation of maintenance that has been running so far.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of vegetable silage ration feeding trash and leaves (Gliricidia sepium) gliricidia against the value of the dry ingredients and digestibility of organic livestock goat nuts. This study used a Randomized Design Group with 3 treatments and 3 replicates (blocks/groups) each of Deuteronomy includes 3 goats nuts. R1 is the treatment of gliricidia ad libitum leaves, vegetable waste and silage R1 leaves gliricidia (30%: 70%) and vegetable waste and silage R2 leaves gliricidia (70%: 30%). The observed variables are the values of the digestibility of dry ingredients and the digestibility of organic matter. The results showed that the treatment of vegetable waste silage given does not affect real (P0,05 >) against the consumption of dry ingredients of vegetable leaf litter silage ration gliricidia as a whole. The results showed equivalent value the digestibility of the ration dry ingredients of highest to lowest (%) respectively is R2 (80.7%), R1 (75,3%), and the Ro(71.3). While the addition of vegetable waste in silage ration leaves gliricidia does not affect real (P0,05>) against the value of the digestibility of organic matter. It can be concluded that the provision of rations of vegetable trash and leaves silage gliricidia (Gliricidia sepium) do not affect the real value of the dry ingredients and digestibility of organic livestock goat nuts.

Abstract

This work was conducted to establish the relationship between microspore developmental stage and length of the floral bud in glasshouse-grown Sturt's desert pea, a native Australian legume.  The stages of microspore development were segregated into tetrad, early-uninucleate, mid-uninucleate and late-uninucleate.  The results showed that the stage of microspore development was highly dependent on the length of floral bud.  The tetrad stage lasted longer than early-, mid- or late-uninucleate stages.  The attempted induction of androgenesis in Sturt's desert pea using anthers from floral buds with similar size, as in the present work, was unsuccessful.  However, our work showed that the floral bud length can be used as a reliable predictor of microspore developmental stage in Sturt's desert pea.   Key words: Sturt's desert pea, Swainsona formosa, androgenesis, legume
