Abstract

Pisang Lampung atau yang lebih dikenal sebagai pisang burung-burung merupakan salah satu jenis pisang yang sering dan banyak dijumpai didaerah Kendari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahuai tingkat kematangan buah pisang melalui pengolahan citra kulit pisang menggunakan metode transformasi ruang HSI. Pengolahan citra mempunyai peranan penting di berbagai bidang. Aplikasi pengolahan citra berkaitan dengan pemrosesan citra berkaitan dengan transformasi warna. Objek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu citra pisang lampung atau pisang burung-burung yang diambil dengan kamera smartphone Vivo V5 Lite, dengan pengambilan gambar latar putih menggunakan kertas HVS A4 yang kemudian akan diekstrak ciri warnanya, dan dihitung tingkat kadar warna dari R (red), G (green), dan B (blue) dan diubah ke HSI. Dari hasil penelitian 30 sampel buah dimana 10 buah pisang lampung atau pisang burung-burung  mentah, 10 buah pisang lampung atau pisang burung-burung setengah matang, dan 10 buah pisang lampung atau pisang burung-burung matang, kemudian yang terdeteksi oleh citra sebanyak 13 sampel buah pisang lampung atau pisang burung-burung dimana didapatkan hasil 7 sesuai antara manual dengan aplikasi, sedangkan 6 sampel tidak sesuai.

Abstract

Masyarakat sampai saat ini belum bisa memanfaatkan secara maksimal seluruh bagian dari singkong. Tujuan kegiatan PKM adalah bagaimana pemanfaatan limbah kulit singkong menjadi kripik kulit singkong di SMKN 5 Kota Kendari Sulawesi Tenggara. Pelaksanaan  PKM dilakukan dalam 3 tahap: (1) sosialisasi; (2) pemberian materi tentang motivasi berwirausaha, proses pemanfaatan limbah kulit singkong menjadi kripik kulit singkong, dan cara mendesain label kemasan dengan pemanfaatan TIK;  dan (3) pelatihan melalui praktek langsung. Kegiatan pemberian teori dilakukan dengan metode ceramah dan diskusi interaktif, sedangkan pelatihan pengolahan limbah kulit singkong dilaksanakan dengan metode demostrasi. Berdasarkan hasil PKM bersama mitra menunjukkan hasil kemajuan yang cukup berarti:  (a) pemahaman dan minat siswa tentang kewirausahaan meningkat sebesar 80%,  (b) pemahaman dan pengetahuan siswa tentang pembuatan kripik kulit singkong meningkat sebesar 90%, dan (c) pemahaman siswa tentang cara mendesain label kemasan dengan pemanfaatan TIK meningkat sebesar 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the priority factors in the development of plantation commodities, including cocoa, coffee, coconut, and oil palm as substitutes in East Kolaka District-Southeast Sulawesi.The method used is the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) of expert choice software 11. The AHP method includes: (a) developing a hierarchy; (b) determining priorities, and (c) calculating the consistency ratio (CR).  The consistency ratio test (CR) of Expert Choice 11software on priority factors in the development of leading plantation commodities was obtained from each resource person (informant) from: (a) the Department of Agriculture; (b) Plantation Service; (c) Trade, Industry, Small and Medium Enterprises Office; (d) traders; (e) Gapoktan; (f) banking, and (g) academics. The study shows acceptable or consistent results because of CR<0.100. AHP analysis indicates that the priority factors for developing superior plantation commodities in East Kolaka Regency include: (a) feasible for business development (LBPB) 26.7%; (b) contribution of community income (KPM) 18.0%; (c) Added value (NT) 13.3%; (d) local government policies (KPD) 11.0%; (e) land suitability (KL) 10.5%; (f) market orientation (OP) 10.7%; and (g) non-conformance with environmentally friendly standards (RL) 9.7%. Keywords: analytical hierarchy process (AHP), expert choice 11, superior plantation commodities

Abstract

Pekarangan rumah merupakan area yang dekat dengan bangunan rumah. Pekarangan rumah dapat memiliki manfaat apabila dapat dikelola dengan baik. Apabila pertanian pekarangan dapat dioptimalkan fungsinya, akan berkontribusi nyata terhadap kecukupan dan ketahanan pangan masyarakat sekaligus dapat meningkatkan tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat. Target dari program ini juga adalah terbangunya demplot tanaman sayuran di pekarangan sempit berbasis media tanam konvensional dan vertikultur melibatkan ibu rumah tangga/ibu PKK Kelurahan Kambu Kecamatan Kambu Kota Kendari. Ibu rumah tangga diharapkan mampu menghasilkan sayuran yang sehat dan higienis dari halaman rumah sendiri, untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan pangan sehat baik masa pandemi COVID-19 maupun new normal. Vertikultur merupakan teknik budidaya tanam yang cocok diterapkan di pekarangan rumah. Keunggulan vertikultur yaitu lebih hemat lahan, air, dan pupuk. Melalui program ini telah mengedukasi warga cara pemanfaatan pekarangan untuk budidaya sayuran organik. Pemerintah Kelurahan Kambu mengapresiasi program pengabdian optimalisasi fungsi lahan pekarangan dengan budidaya tanaman sayuran (kangkung, sawi, bayam, pare dan kacang panjang) sebagai sumber vitamin dan imun keluarga dengan mewujudkan demplot di lahan pekarangan.

Abstract

 This study aims to analyze the profitability of the peanut rengginang business in the Two Brothers Home Industry in Lalona Village, Bungku Tengah District, Morowali Regency. Determination of the research location purposively. Data was collected using a questionnaire, interview, and documentation methods—research analysis using profitability ratios. The results of the study show that the analysis of profitability in the home industry of the two brothers in 2020 shows that the profitability ratio for the net profit margin (NPM), which is 55.42% is above the average or very good. The profitability ratio of the return on assets (ROA) value is equal to 132% are, above average or very good. Based on the calculation of net profit margin (NPM) and return on assets (ROA), Home Industry is very efficient and profitable to run.

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the maturity level of plantain fruit using the Hue Saturation Intensity (HSI) color space transformation method. This study uses the Hue Saturation Intensity (HSI) color space transformation method to classify the level of ripeness of plantain fruit. The results showed that the Hue Saturation Intensity (HSI) color space transformation method was quite good at identifying the ripeness level of bananas based on the high accuracy of the test. Of the 20 fruit samples where ten unripe and ten ripe plantains were calculated, the maximum and minimum average values of H and S obtained conformity accuracy of 85%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the modified semi-mechanical nutmeg pulp breaker (pericarp) on the presentation of damage to the yield of split nutmeg seeds. This research was conducted in two stages, namely the stage of making the tool and testing the device. The testing stages are as follows: In the framework, there is a place to put the nutmeg to be split, the space is shaped like a rectangular box, inside the box, space can be filled with three nutmegs. So, every time the nutmeg is split process, there is three split nutmeg. The stages observed in this study are the percentage of yield damage, the nutmeg splitter's input capacity, the nutmeg splitter's adequate capacity, yield, and uniformity of cleavage data. The testing results of this tool resulted in a reasonable degree of 512 ±162,774 pieces/hour, yield damage of 9.9 ±15.940%, and yield of 90.1 ±15.940%. This tool is more efficient because it is easier to use and does not use motor power. The working capacity of this semi-mechanical splitter is doubled when compared to manual splitters

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the added value obtained by the owner of a small rice milling industry in Kabangka District, Muna Regency. The data is processed using quantitative data to assess the added value in the rice milling industry. Data was collected by the following methods: (a) interviews, (b) library methods, and (c) documentation. This study uses the Hayami Method analysis. The number of respondents in this study was four people. The results showed that the owner of the rice milling business in one day made two productions. The number of raw materials in the two production processes was 1,150 kg per day. Hence, the total raw materials used by the rice milling business in one month was 34,500. by producing rice in one production of 750 kg per day. The whole rice produced by the rice mill in one month is 22,500 kg. The results showed that the milling business owner got an added value of Rp. 1,415 per Kg of raw materials, with a value-added ratio of 23%.
