Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi efektivitas penggunaan media kartu kata bergambar untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar membaca pada peserta didik kelas dua di SDN 069 Limbong. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah untuk menilai dampak positif penggunaan media kartu kata bergambar dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar membaca di kelas tersebut, serta untuk mengidentifikasi upaya konkret guru dalam menghadapi kesulitan belajar membaca peserta didik menggunakan media tersebut. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Peserta penelitian terdiri dari 12 peserta didik kelas II, sedangkan objek penelitian adalah implementasi media kartu kata bergambar dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar membaca. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data yang melibatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah melaksanakan langkah-langkah penerapan media kartu kata bergambar dengan baik. Langkah-langkah tersebut mencakup penentuan tema, persiapan media, pengenalan huruf dan kata kepada anak, persiapan alat dan bahan, pembagian peserta didik ke dalam kelompok, dan memberikan kegiatan kepada anak. Upaya guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan membaca peserta didik melalui media kartu kata bergambar terfokus pada tiga langkah pembelajaran: pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan media kartu kata bergambar oleh guru dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran membaca. Penerapan langkah-langkah yang telah dijelaskan mampu memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pemahaman dan kemampuan membaca peserta didik kelas II di SDN 069 Limbong.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang upaya guru dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa di kelas V MI Datok Sulaiman bagian putra Kota Palopo. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya guru wali kelas dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa, serta untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang menjadi hambatan guru wali kelas dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa kelas V MI Datok Sulaiman bagian putra Kota Palopo. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Penelitian ini berfokus pada upaya guru wali kelas V dalam membentuk karakter disiplim siswa kelas V bagian putra. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data yang melibatkan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang telah dilakukan oleh guru dengan menggunakan berbagai metode pembelajaran diantaranya metode pembiasaan, metode keteladanan, metode bercerita atau mendongeng dan metode diskusi dapat merubah sikap dan perilaku siswa telah disiplin. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa upaya guru dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa di kelas V MI Datok Sulaiman bagian putra Kota Palopo telah berhasil. Perubahan karakter disiplin siswa telah nampak seperti dengan datang ke sekolah tepat waktu, sebelum masuk kelas siswa melaksanakan apel pagi untuk bersiap melakukan pembacaan asma’ul husna dan setelah di dalam kelas selalu membaca doa sebelum belajar, setelah waktu sholat siswa selalu melaksanakan sholat secara berjamaah. Dan tidak hanya itu dilingkungan sekolah selalu lima S yakni senyum, salam, sapa, sopan dan santun. Ini merupakan hasil dari pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa kelas V MI Datok Sulaiman bagian putra Kota Palopo.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the needs, design, and validity of teaching materials in the form of teaching material for the diversity of ethnic groups in South Sulawesi for the fourth grade students that have been developed. Based on the results of observations made by researchers that grade IV students in the material of ethnic diversity in Indonesia, students need a concrete (real) learning in the form of an interesting textbook. This research is a type of Research and Development (R&D) research using a 4-D research model consisting of four stages, namely 1) the devine stage consisting of initial condition analysis, student analysis, material analysis, and learning objectives analysis 2) design stages or designing a product 3) the development stage or product development 4) the dessiminate stage or dissemination. The subjects of this study were students of class IVB consisting of 25 students. This research data collection method in the form of teacher and student questionnaire instruments, interviews, tests, observations and validation sheets. Based on the results of the validity of the linguists, and the design of the content of the teaching materials received an assessment in the range of 0.78-100 and the pre-activation of teaching materials was in the range of values from 0.89 to 1.00, which means it was categorized as valid and very valid.

Abstract

Background: This article is a literature review aimed at analyzing and explaining the contextual approach in enhancing the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning in Elementary Schools (ES). Purpose: The contextual approach is a teaching method that emphasizes the relevance of learning materials to students' daily lives and environments. In the context of IRE, this approach involves connecting Islamic religious lessons with life situations and Islamic values relevant to ES students. Method: Through a comprehensive literature review, this article explores previous studies and research involving the curriculum and teaching methods of IRE in ES using a contextual approach. This literature review covers various aspects, such as comparing the effectiveness between contextual and conventional approaches, their impact on understanding Islamic religion, students' learning interest, and participation in IRE learning. The article also discusses the challenges and opportunities in implementing the contextual approach in IRE learning in ES, including teachers' perspectives, required curriculum changes, and support from the school environment and families. Result: The results of this literature review indicate that the contextual approach can enhance the effectiveness of IRE learning in ES significantly. The relevance of learning materials to students' daily lives motivates them to be more engaged and to better appreciate Islamic values. In conclusion, the contextual approach has the potential to make a positive contribution to the development of IRE learning in ES. Conclusion: This article provide valuable insights for educators, researchers, and policymakers in the field of Islamic education, and encourage more empirical research to support and strengthen the findings of this literature review.

Abstract

Production of composites was done by mixing the filler and matrix. The common matrix used to produce composite is plastic ore with types of poly propylene, poly ethylene and others. To know the characteristics of composite boards made from recycled plastic type poly ethylene so this research was conducted. This research aims to create a composite board made of solid waste sawdust and straw as a filler and recycled plastics as the matrix and to find out more details of the influence of variable solid waste types and ratio of solid waste weight and plastic toward the quality of the composite board product. Composite board manufacturing process was carried out by hot press method at a temperature of 145 oC for 20 minutes. The composite board products are tested on value of hardness, tensile strength, and thermal value. The results showed that the use of sawdust as a filler resulted the composite hardness value that is better (R79,5) compared with straw (R67) at a ratio of filler composition: matrix of 80:20 respectively. The use of sawdust also gives the value of tensile strength of 6.86 MPa that is better than the using a straw that valued of 3.62 MPa at composition ratio of filler: to matrix (60:40). Largest amount of heat needed to melt the composite boards are 31.19 J/g and 14.02 J/g at composition ratio sawdust: recycled plastics of 80:20 and at composition ratio straw: recycled plastics of 80:20, respectively. Visually composite board with a composition of sawdust:plastic HDPE 50:50 looks better with bright colors and shiny.Keywords: Composite, Solid waste, Plastic, Matrix, Filler, Poly ethylene

Abstract

Transforming household organic waste (such as leftover food, fruits, vegetables, and other organic materials) into eco-enzymes represents a pioneering community service initiative in Luthu Lamweu Village, Sukamakmur District, Aceh Besar, Aceh Province, Indonesia. This project aims to enhance environmental awareness and improve community welfare. The villagers of Luthu Lamweu possess significant potential in converting organic waste into valuable products. The research methodology employed a participatory approach, actively engaging the community in all stages, including awareness campaigns (socialization), training sessions, technical support for eco-enzyme production, and evaluation. The strategy involved collaboration with village authorities, facilitated through the Program Bakti Mahasiswa Teknik (PBMT) and lecturer-led community service (PkM) to ensure program sustainability. The community service outcomes indicated a substantial increase in the communitys knowledge, interest, and skills in managing household organic waste into eco-enzymes, with a success rate of 96.25% (rated from sufficient to very good). Furthermore, the program positively impacted the villages environmental quality by converting organic waste into valuable eco-enzymes.

Abstract

This workshop was held at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the Luwu Regency area with the main aim of improving teachers' skills in using digital media in learning to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. In this workshop, teachers are given practical skills and innovative pedagogical strategies to utilize technology in the learning process. It is hoped that teachers will be more creative and effective in teaching to increase their students' motivation and learning achievement. This activity is carried out through three stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. This activity was carried out with the District Ministry of Religion Office. Luwu, Head of Madrasah MIN 1, MIN 2, MIN 3 and MIN 4 District Luwu accompanying speakers implemented the community-based independent curriculum from lecturers. The material provided is differentiated learning design in the independent curriculum and the use of digital media in learning. The evaluation results indicate that, in general, the implementation of the activities has proceeded according to the plan. This conclusion is based on the assessment of various aspects, including the content, presentation methods, relevance of the material to the needs of teachers, and the impact on participants' understanding of the application of digital media, with an average aspect score of 82.8%.. This activity also recommends carrying out similar activities regularly, adding more specific material related to the independent curriculum such as creating teaching modules and differentiated learning design. Teachers need assistance in creating digital media that is directly put into practice for the next workshop.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to determine whether the cooperative learning Numbered Head Together (NHT) can improve students’ learning outcome in Indonesian course. The subjects of this study were 45 students of class VII A of SMP Negeri 8 Palopo in the even semester of the 2018/2019 academic year. This research was carried out in two cycles, and each cycle consists of six meetings. Data collection was carried out using learning outcomes tests and observations. The data collected were analyzed using quantitative analysis, and the observation data were analyzed using qualitative analysis. The results showed that the average score of students in the first cycle was 40.02, with a standard deviation of 20.21. while in the second cycle, the average score was 68.26, with a standard deviation of 12.00. It shows that classical student learning outcomes have been achieved. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that with the implementation of cooperative learning NHT in the learning process, the learning outcomes, attendance, readiness, and activeness of students can increase.

Abstract

Pembangunan Ruas Jalan Lintas GeumpangPameu merupakan bagian dari program strategis nasional untuk meningkatkan konektivitas wilayah di Provinsi Aceh. Namun, kegiatan konstruksi seperti ini berpotensi menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan, khususnya kualitas udara, air, vibrasi, dan kebisingan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan pemantauan kualitas lingkungan untuk memastikan pembangunan tetap sejalan dengan prinsip keberlanjutan. Pemantauan dilakukan pada tiga titik lokasi dengan parameter utama meliputi kualitas udara ambien, kualitas air, vibrasi lingkungan, dan kebisingan. Hasil pemantauan menunjukkan bahwa kualitas udara ambien masih berada di bawah baku mutu yang ditetapkan. Kebisingan dan vibrasi yang dihasilkan tergolong rendah dan tidak melebihi ambang batas yang dapat menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan. Sementara itu, kualitas air sebagian besar masih dalam batas aman, meskipun beberapa parameter seperti BOD, COD, dan logam berat menunjukkan nilai yang melebihi ambang baku mutu. Namun demikian, hasil analisis menyimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kadar tersebut lebih dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan alami daripada aktivitas konstruksi. Pemantauan ini menjadi dasar penting dalam upaya pengelolaan dan pengendalian dampak lingkungan, serta dapat dijadikan rujukan bagi kegiatan serupa di masa mendatang.

Abstract

The increase in carbon emissions resulting from industrial activities has become a major concern for environmental and climate conditions. Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) represents a significant effort to mitigate the CO2 problem. Aceh Province possesses a potential distribution of serpentine, which may serve as an effective material for CCS applications. This study evaluates the effects of gas flow rate, particle size, sorbent weight, and pressure on CO2 adsorption using chemically activated serpentine. The activation process involved hydrochloric acid (HCl) at three concentrations: 8%, 9%, and 10%, with particle sizes of 50 mesh, 100 mesh, and 150 mesh. Activation was conducted at room temperature with an acid-to-serpentine ratio of 10:1 for 30 minutes. Adsorption tests were performed at ambient temperature under pressures of 2, 3, and 4 bar, with adsorption times of 30, 60, and 120 minutes. Results indicate that activated serpentine treated with 9% HCl and a particle size of 150 mesh achieved the highest performance, demonstrating an adsorption efficiency of 33.01% and an adsorption capacity of 82.22% (0.0488 g CO2/g adsorbent) at a pressure of 2 bar. Both the Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models closely fit the data (R = 1). This study concludes that HCl activation significantly enhances the capacity and efficiency of serpentine as a CO2 adsorbent.
