maupun dari serangan organisme lain termasuk organisme penempel/epifit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan aktivitas antioksidan dengan biomassa epifit daun lamun Thalassia hemprichii yang hidup di Perairan Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu, DKI Jakarta. Metode untuk menganalisis aktivitas antioksidan adalah metode DPPH (1,1-difenil-2-pikrilhidrazil), sedangkan biomassa epifit diperoleh dengan mengerik epifit yang berada di permukaan daun T. hemprichii kemudian ditimbang beratnya per satuan luas daun (mg/cm2). Aktivitas antioksidan daun lamun yang digambarkan dengan nilai IC50 berkisar antara 563,88-2039,8 mg/L. Korelasi biomassa epifit dengan IC50 sebesar 0,99 menunjukkan bahwa biomassa epifit mempengaruhi aktivitas antioksidan lamun.Kata kunci: aktivitas antioksidan, epifit, Thalassia hemprichii

Semarang is one of the main transportation crossing along the North coast of Java, which is very vulnerable to environmental damage. One of the damage is the beach abrasion that threaten in several point di Semarang coastal area. To overcome this problem then build the construction of wave retaining buildings such as breakwater. Breakwater will reduce the rate of abrasion, because breakwater can break waves dan make its power reduced before it reaches the shoreline, so that the rate of abrasion can be compressed.Breakwater slowly will affect to the ecosystem by its sedimentation because of the material accumulation and the become solidified. From this sediment will become a habitat to several organism. This research was held from December 2016 - January 2017 at Semarang coastal area that divided into two station which is Station 1 at Mangkang area (West Semarang) and station 2 at Tambak Lorok area (North Semarang). The purpose of this research is to see the habitat of the organism that lived in sedimentation area around the breakwater. The organism which is the object of research is macrozoobenthos. Macrozoobenthos is made an object of the research because of the nature of these organism whose lives are settled at the bottom of the coastal. The method used in this research is descriptive comparative. Based on research of the study makrozoobenthos has been found in each station from several classes . Polychaeta is a genus that dominates at every location because muddy sand is its main habitat.

One of the fisheries and marine potentials in Cilacap Regency is tuna fisheries. Catch tuna that landed at the Cilacap Ocean Fishery Port (PPSC) is high. Based on the analysis of the needs of actors in the tuna fisheries system in Cilacap, one of the components included in the system is the tuna fish processing industry. This is because there is only one tuna fishing company in Cilacap in 2009. The existence of these problems causes an increase in the growth of the micro-industry in the tuna fish processing business in Cilacap. This increase certainly has an impact on increasing the waste generated. This study aims to identify the type of waste generated and the waste management efforts of micro-industry players (MSMEs) processing tuna chili sauce in Cilacap and analyze the appropriate management design to be applied in the tuna fish sauce processing industry. The research data collection method was carried out by direct observation by conducting interviews with the owners of MSMEs. The results of field observations on MSMEs that produce tuna fish sauce produce organic and non-organic waste and the waste is simply thrown into the environment without any treatment first. Efforts to manage waste produced by MSMEs with tuna sauce have not yet been carried out due to limited human resources in knowledge about waste management. Based on the characteristics of the waste produced, several types of designs can be carried out by MSMEs, namely the management of organic and non-organic wastes to minimize the waste generated both in terms of quality and quantity as not to pollute the environment.

Masyarakat di Kabupaten Cilacap khususnya warga masyarakat Kecamatan Maos umumnya bekerja di bidang pertanian. Berdasarkan data yang didapatkan dari Badan Pusat Statistika tahun 2019, sebanyak 6.494 jiwa penduduk kecamatan maos bekerja sebagai buruh tani. Permasalahan yang dihadapi di musim kemarau sangat mengganggu kegiatan masyarakat Desa Maos. Permasalahan yang timbul seperti kekurangan air untuk pertanian; masyarakat susah dalam mencari sumber air; dan perekonomian masyarakat terganggu. Solusi pada permasalahan ini adalah adanya pembuatan dan penerapan pompa air terintegrasi photovoltaic untuk pertanian yang diharapakan mampu meredakan bahkan menghilangkan akar permasalahan yang sedang dialami masyarakat Kecamatan Maos. Target dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya suatu pompa yang mampu mengalirkan air dari sumber air dengan pemanfaatan energi dari Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) yang ramah lingkungan dan terciptanya kemandirian energi desa berbasis Energi Baru Terbarukan (EBT). Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya desa mandiri energi; semakin berkembangnya hasil panen dari pertanian masyarakat Kecamatan Maos walaupun dimusim kemarau; dan dapat meningkatkan perekenomian masyarakat Kecamatan Maos.

Desa Widarapayung Wetan merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi wisata pantai tetapi masih belum berkembang dengan optimal sehingga masyarakat sekitar Desa Widarapayung Wetan masih belum mendapatkan keuntungan dari potensi wilayahnya tersebut. Keadaan ini disebabkan potensi sumber daya manusia yang belum dapat memaksimalkan potensi wilayahnya. Karang taruna merupakan bagian dari masyarakat yang perlu ditingkatkan ketrampilannya terutama ketrampilan yang dapat mendukung sektor ekonomi dan wisata desa. Salah satu jenis pelatihan guna meningkatkan ketrampilan khusus para karang taruna yang dapat mendukung pengembangan sektor pariwisata dan perekonomian adalah pelatihan screen printing. Tujuan dari kegiatan pelatihan screen printing ini yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan ketrampilan pada para pemuda karang taruna yang ada di Desa Widara Payung Wetan. Kegiatan pelatihan dibagi menjadi 3 sesi yaitu sesi ceramah seputar teori screen printing, demonstrasi teknik screen printing sekaligus praktik langsung bagi peserta dan ceramah seputar usaha screen printing dapat mendukung perekonomian dan pariwisata desa. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan pelatihan maka dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa para pemuda yang ada di Desa Widarapayung wetan sudah dapat melakukan teknik screen printing dan dapat menghasilkan satu buah produk berupa kaos bergambar hasil screen printing. Ketrampilan yang telah dimiliki oleh pemuda ini diharapkan dapat dijadikan modal awal untuk berwirausaha dalam bidang screen printing.

Indonesia is the owner of an inscription certificate from UNESCO regarding the recognition of “The Representative List of The Intangible Culture Heritage of Humanity” for batik. This has an impact on increasing batik production due to increasing demand both from within the country and from abroad. However, there are problems in fulfilling the demand for batik. One of the problems is a decrease of skilled workers in batik especially for “batik tulis”. One that is experiencing a shortage of skilled workers is batik production in Cilacap Regency. Therefore, we empower the youth of the Widarapayung Wetan Village youth community by providing batik training. The purpose of this activity is to increase the interest of young people to pursue batik skills as well as to fulfil batik skilled workers. The results of a survey conducted at the end of the community service activity 80% of respondents agreed and 20% strongly agreed to explore batik skills.

The climate change in Indonesia results in disruption of the rice drying process which only relies on sunlight for the drying process of rice grains so that during the rainy season farmers having problems on the process of drying rice grains. Thus, a new technology is needed in the process of drying rice grains. This technology is using a rice dryer. In the process of making a rice drying machine, there are several important components that must be designed properly, namely the frame and heating pipes which are the main components of a rice drying machine. The aim of this research was to design the frame and heating pipe for rice drying machines. From the design process, the testing phase is carried out, both machine testing and rice drying testing. The test results show that all machine components run well and the drying results show that the rice has decreased in weight after being put into the rice dryer with decrease is 5 kg to 4,9 kg or about 0,1%.

Fish feeder machine is a machine designed to perform a feeding process that works automatically according to a predetermined feeding schedule, this machine can help improve efficiency both in terms of feed quantity and time in the feeding process. The purpose of designing and calculating machine elements in this Fish Feeder is to calculate parts of machine elements, determine the concept of machine design, draw machine drawing detail, and determine bill of material. The manufacture of this machine uses approach method of James H Earle and concept selection using the method of Stuart Pugh, drawing software using Solidworks 2015 and working drawing using ISO Standard. The design of the throwing machine that has been made is the result of a literature approach and field surveys (direct surveys at the Fisheries Service and at the Fish Seed Center where fish feed throwing machines are needed). This machine needs a continuous process of development and testing
