Abstract

In general, students consider that computer material is rather difficult and practicum requires special skills especially if there is no guidance and tutorial from the lecturers directly especially in the current co-19 pandemic, as a result not a few students who are less even less interested in understanding and mastering some theory and basic practice on the material. Therefore, lecturers must have the ability or skills to develop a multimedia practicum and use it in lectures so that learning objectives can be achieved. For example, multimedia practicum based on a Virtual Computer Laboratory (ViLab) that was developed can be used as a support in the learning process and practicum in the computer laboratory of the FIP UNP KTP Department, especially those taking computer practicum courses. This research development uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. Models and procedures developed using the ADDIE model with stages, including: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Based on the results of the development, the results obtained at the same time conclusions that the multimedia Laboratory-based Virtual Laboratory (Vi-Lab) is feasible to be used in learning as a media supporting the practicum This can be seen from the validation percentage of media experts and material experts, namely an average of 94.5% with a very good/very valid product category. Furthermore, it was tested on students (respondents) to find out the practicality level of media use by 88.5% with a very good/very practical category. Abstract

Artificial Intellegent Application Computer Troubleshooting is an application developed with the aim of being a tool to understand the damage to the computer. The method used in this test is ISO 25010 on the FURPS concept. Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students and lecturers have not invited students to be fully involved in the learning process. The lack of student understanding is caused because in general the learning process in the classroom is less interesting and tends to beteacher centered. This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Somatic, Auditor, Visual, Intellectual (SAVI) Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Curriculum and Learning Courses at UNP. This research uses a quantitative approach with adesign quasi-experimental. The study population was all students who took a course curriculum and learning in semester from January to June 2021 at a number of students 50 people, by taking sexy as a homogeneous sample class that is sexy 202110030019. Technique of sampling is purposive sampling, with the number of students at each each class is 25 people, where the average value of both classes is the same and is guided by the same lecturer. From the results of the study, the average value of the experimental class was higher than the control class, namely the experimental average of 81.28 while the average value of the group using conventional strategies was 73.2. Based on the t-test calculation, it is obtained that tcount > ttable is 4.019 > 1.677, withlevel of a 0.05 on df 48. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the SAVI model has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the Curriculum and Learning courses at UNP.Keywords: SAVI, Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The increasingly widespread use of virtual learning applications in educational institutions requires educators to improve their skills in designing and producing these applications. A new VLP is proposed in this study to cultivate students' skills in designing and producing an online virtual laboratory (OVL). To test the effect of VLP, 30 students of the Educational Technology Study Program FIP UNP who took the Computer Fundamentals course for the July-December 2020 Semester participated in this study using a pre-test and post-test. Data were collected using online instruments; achievement tests, performance observation cards, product evaluation cards, and usability questionnaires. The results showed that the proposed VLP was effective in increasing students' knowledge and practical skills needed to design and produce OVL. Students find VLP a convenient way to learn relevant knowledge and skills. Keywords: Virtual Learning Platform; Online Virtual Laboratory; Education technology; Design Skills

Abstract

This research is a research development known as research and development (R & D). The development model used is a development model proposed by Borg and Gall modified. The product of this development was assessed by 2 media experts and practicable test of 20 members of FIP UNP library. Instruments used in this research are documentation, assessment format and questionnaire to see the ease for the subject try using digital library product. The results of this research indicate that the digital library product that has been developed to get the category of Excellent from both media expert validators. Similarly, the results of practicality test against library members obtained the assessment with the category Very Good with the acquisition value of 4.55. Thus the results showed that digital library products using the application Senayan Library Management System (SLiMS) Version 8 in the FIP UNP Library that has been developed valid and practical to use.Keywords : Digital Library, Senayan Library Managemen System     (SLiMS)

Abstract

Efforts to improve the quality of education continue to be carried out by the government, one form of this effort is the development and review of the curriculum so that it is under the times. Several factors underlie curriculum development, including philosophical, psychological, socio-cultural, political, state development and world development, and science and technology (IPTEK) foundations. The process of changing the curriculum in various countries cannot be adapted to the political conditions in that country, therefore the educational curriculum may change at any time according to the political conditions that affect the country concerned. This study aims to analyze and describe the influence of politics on curriculum development in the National Education System. This research is qualitative research using a literature study approach. Furthermore, data were collected through document study.

Abstract

Most educational institutions currently use a web-based virtual teaching system using platforms such as e-learning and carry out learning activities using a virtual laboratory system for practicum of several subjects or courses. Web-based teaching is a possible and economical solution to this problem. The web-based program will automatically correct students' answers to quizzes, and lecturers can obtain and monitor student feedback in real time without delay. The aim of the current design is to provide a more engaging and interactive environment for students to learn. To find out how this virtual systems approach might affect student learning and to get their views on this new teaching approach, the lecturer randomly selected 8 students from this group of 80 students and interviewed them using open-ended questions. According to the results of the questionnaire, most of the students showed positive attitudes towards the virtual system and found that the system encouraged and motivated them to learn better. Most students are interested in learning through virtual teaching (VT; 89%) and experimenting through virtual laboratories (VL; 88%). In accordance with this explanation, learning through web-based virtual teaching and virtual laboratory systems is very flexible to use.Keywords : Flexibility, Virtual Teaching, Web-Based, Virtual Laboratory System.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari hasil pengamatan penulis pada Perpustakaan SMA Negeri 8 Padang yang menunjukkan kurang terlaksananya pengelolaan yang dilakukan oleh petugas perpustakaan terhadap pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pengelolaan perpustakaan di SMA Negeri 8 Padang, yaitu ditinjau dari aspek sarana dan prasarana perpustakaan, pengaturan dan pemeliharaan koleksi perpustakaan, dan layanan perpustakaan. Pertanyaan penelitian yang diajukan adalah bagaimana persepsi siswa terhadap pengelolaan perpustakaan di SMA Negeri 8 Padang dalam hal 1) Sarana dan Prasarana Perpustakaan? 2) Pengaturan dan pemeliharaan koleksi Perpustakaan? 3) Layanan Perpustakaan?. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa SMA Negeri 8 Padang. Sebanyak 148 siswa dijadikan sampel dari jumlah siswa 985 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket berjumlah 30 butir angket. Data penelitian ini adalah data primer dengan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan perhitungan persentase. Hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini menunjukkan persepsi siswa terhadap pengelolaan perpustakaan di SMA Negeri 8 Padang dapat dikatakan cukup baik dengan persentase 60,94%. Persepsi siswa terhadap aspek sarana dan prasarana pepustakaan berada pada kategori cukup baik dengan skor rata-rata 59,77%. Persepsi siswa terhadap aspek koleksi perpustakaan berada pada kategori cukup baik dengan skor rata-rata 58,46%. Persepsi siswa terhadap aspek layanan perpustakaan berada pada kategori baik dengan skor rata-rata 64,59%.

Abstract

The development of Science, Technology, and Arts (IPTEKS) which so rapidly affects the process of implementing education can no longer be done conventionally. The learning methodology needs to adapt to these technological developments so that it can be carried out efficiently and effectively. This challenges education experts to continue to innovate in developing learning methods and strategies. How the learning process is carried out in a short time, and not always face to face between the lecturers and students but get the results as expected. One alternative to overcome this problem is to utilize computer-assisted instruction (CAI). This study aims to develop multi-media computer-assisted instruction (CAI) as a means of independent learning. This study uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle method by Luther (1994), which includes six stages of development, namely concept (concept), design (design), material collection, assembly (manufacture), testing (testing), and distribution (distribution). At the testing stage, an alpha (alpha test) was carried out by the experts, while at the distribution stage the students were tested with indicators of usability, ease of use, ease of learning, and satisfaction. Conclusion for all aspects of the overall validity, practicability, and feasibility test, it can be ignored that multi-media computer-assisted instruction (CAI) is valid, practical, and worthy of being used as a means of independent learning

Abstract

The development of podcasts as learning media is carried out as a form of effort in overcoming problems in learning activities, where the lack of learning media used by teachers has an impact on students' lack of motivation in learning. This study aims to develop podcasts as learning media for grade IV Indonesian Language Subjects in order to produce media that is appropriate, practical and effective for use by teachers and students. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) research with the Hannadfin & Peck research model. This development model consists of 3 stages in each stage there is an evaluation, namely needs analysis, design, development, and implementation. Based on the assessment results from the media validator and material validator, an average material validation result of 4.9 was categorized as "very appropriate", the validation results from media validator 1 obtained an average of 3.42 categorized as "valid" and media validator 2 was obtained an average of 4.86 is categorized as "very valid". This podcast media is said to be "practical" based on the practicality test with an average value of 4.37.
