Abstract

Intervensi penyuluhan dengan  media audio visual merupakan salah satu  metode yang dapat dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk merangsang masyarakat terutama keluarga (yaitu ibu rumah tangga) agar mampu menjadi inovator di lingkungan rumah tangganya sendiri. Audio visual merupakan alat bantu yang paling tepat saat ini. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan dengan media Audio Visual dan konvensional terhadap pengetahuan ibu anak balita yang tidak naik berat badannya di Wilayah Puskesmas Penimbung Kabupaten Lombok Barat. enelitian dilakukan di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Penimbung yaitu Desa Dopang dan Desa Gelangsar selama kurang lebih 6 bulan, yaitu pada bulan Juni-November 2012. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan eksperimen sesungguhnya (true experimental design)  dengan rancangan pretest-postest with control group design.  Jumlah populasi adalah sebanyak 91 orang dengan sampel 60 rang. Data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis statistik Independent Sample t Test dan Paired Sample t Test. Tidak terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pengetahuan ibu balita (post test) setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dengan media AV dan konvensional. Terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pengetahuan ibu balita (post test) setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dengan media AV dengan kelompok kontrol. Terdapat pengaruh peningkatan rata-rata pengetahuan ibu balita antara sebelum penyuluhan dengan setelah penyuluhan baik pada kelompok penyuluhan dengan media AV maupun media konvensional.  Consultation intervention using audio-visual media is one of the methods that can be car-ried out as an effort to enhance the society especially family (i.e. housewife) to be able to play the role as an innovator in her own household. Audio-visual is the best assistive tool nowadays. Objective of this research is to know the influence of consultations using audio-visual and conventional media on the knowledge of mothers having toddlers with non-rising weight in Penimbung Public Heath Center’s operational area, West Lombok Regency. The research was carried out in Penimbung Public Health Center’s operational area i.e. Dopang Village and Gelangsar Village in approximately 6 months, from June to November 2012. This research applied the true experimental design using pretest-posttest with control group design. The population number was 91 subjects and the samples were 60 subjects. Data was processed using the Independent Sample t-Test and Paired Sample t-Test statisti-cal analysis. There was no difference in the knowledge average of mothers (posttest) after consultations using audio-visual and conventional media were conducted. There was a dif-ference in the knowledge average of mothers (posttest) after audio-visual consultation was conducted in the control group. There was an influence seen in the increase of knowledge average of mothers when compared before and after the consultations have been conducted, both in the consultation groups using audio-visual and conventional media.

Abstract

Abstract

Background : Anemia is an unresolved nutritional problem in Indonesia. Data from the Babakan Health Center reported that 19.1% of adolescent girls at SMPN 5 Mataram had anemia, while according to WHO the acceptable threshold was <5%. One of the causes is the lack of knowledge about anemia, low adherence to taking blood booster supplements and there is no media to monitor the intake and adherence. Objectives : The purpose of this study was to analyze "The effect of nutrition education using anti-anemia logbooks on the knowledge and nutritional intake of anemic adolescent girls at SMPN 5 Mataram". Methods : Type of research is an analytical experiment with a quasi-experimental design using a non equivalent and non rendomized control group pretest posttest design. Population: all grade VIII anemia adolescent girls at SMPN 5 Mataram totaling 30 people and a sample of 28 people who were divided into experimental and control groups. Results : In the knowledge variable, there was a significant effect on the group using the logbook and the group without the logbook and the increase was significantly different between the two groups with p = 0.034. In the intake variable, providing education with the Anti Anemia Logbook (Go Mia) had a significant effect on energy and protein consumption with a p value of <0.05, however, the group that did not use the logbook (control group) did not show a significant effect, as did intake. Fe did not show a significant effect in either the experimental group or the control group. Conclusion : Nutrition education using logbook is effective to increase knowledge, energy and protein intake but not effective to increase iron intake.

Abstract

Background. Stunting is very short state of body so that the deficit exceeded -2 SD below the median length or height that became an international reference population (Gibney, Michael J, et al. 2013). Based on the results of RISKESDAS 2013 the proportion of stunting tends to be high in children 24-59 months. The results of the Nutritional Status Monitoring (PSG) West Lombok in 2013 showed Gunung Sari is the region with the highest prevalence of stunting in West Lombok is 58.78%, the prevalence increased from 2012 in the amount of 53.65%.Research Methods. This study used is descriptive observational research. Measurement of the level of consumption is done with a 24-hour recall method and compared with the needs of the sample.Research Result. Respondents in this study is 16 people. Respondents aged 20-35 years amounted to 81.25% (13 people), elementary education level of 37.50% (6 people) and SMP amounted to 37.50% (6 people). Respondents who worked 56.25% (9 people). Revenue from family toddler <UMR (62.5%). The samples in this study is 16 samples, consisting of 11 men and 5 women. The highest incidence of stunting in the age group 48-59 months amounted to 68.75% (11 people) with male gender is 68.75% (11 people). The distribution of the nutritional status based on the index TB/U are short and very short categories respectively by 50% (8 people). The incidence of infection in infants either diarrhea or fever mostly classified namely diarrhea rarely amounted to 87.5% (14 people) and a fever of 56.25% (9 people).  macro nutrients intake does not describe that the macro-nutrient intake as a risk factor stunting.Conclusion. macro nutrients intake does not describe that the macro-nutrient intake as a risk factor stunting.

Abstract

Large portions are often one thing when serving food, especially in food serving. It is still an advantage and lack of portion because there is no right size in food processing. food consumption must be in accordance with the standard portion determined by the hospital nutrition installation. large portions will affect the nutrients contained in a food. This study aims to determine the suitability of standard portions of side dishes of chicken meat received in ordinary food at Sanjiwani Hospital Gianyar Regency. This study was a descriptive observational study with a crossectional approach. This research was conducted for 3 days in April 2019 at Sanjiwani Hospital Gianyar Regency. The number of samples is 30 servings. The proportion of portions served is measured by the food weighing method for 3 days. The results showed that the standard suitability of the portion of chicken received at Sanjiwani General Hospital in Gianyar Regency was largely incompatible, namely 83.3%, while those in accordance with the standard portion were 16.6%.

Abstract

Background. Tempe is a very popular food product in Indonesia which is processed with soy fermentation process in a certain time using Rhizopus sp. Shell that grows on soybeans will hydrolyze complex compounds into simple compounds that are easily digested by humans. In general, tempe has white characteristics due to the growth of mycelia-mycelia fungus that connects between soybean seeds to form a compact texture. The occurrence of degradation of soybean components during the fermentation that caused the emergence of a typical the cowpea producers seaweed flavor (Vigna unguiculata) is one type of nuts are well known and growing in Indonesia. The superiority of cowpea is easy to cultivate, contains high enough protein and the price is relatively affordable compared to soybeans. To verify the food, other mineral-rich foods can be added: Seaweed. This study aims to determine the capacity of grass beans in seaweed in Perumnas Market. Research Purposes. This research uses experimental method with laboratory experiment, Completely Random Design (RAL) one factorial that is addition of seaweed. Research Methods. Samples in this research is consumer panelist as much as 42 people. The data collected in the form of the identity data of the sample which includes age, sex, fondness to tempe cowpea seaweed. Of 42 consumer panelists there were 28 (67%) liked respondents and 14 (33%) respondents rather like marketing cow seaweed cowpea. Consumer panelist respondents were 23 persons (55%) and kos-kossan children (19%) (45%) .The organoleptic test data was analyzed using Analysis Of Variance (One Way Anova). At a 95% confidence level or α 0.05. Research Result. The results show that in terms of taste, texture, odor and color of treatment t1 is most favored by somewhat trained panelists. Conclusion that exists For color parameters, odors, flavors and textures have a value of p <0.05. This shows that the ratio of cowpea and seaweed has a significant influence on the color, smell, taste and texture of The cowpea producers seaweed.

Abstract

Background. One problem that is often encountered in pregnancy which is one of the factors in the high maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is anemia. Based on data from the Mataram City Health Office, it is known that the prevalence of anemic pregnant women has increased in September 2016 the prevalence of anemic pregnant women is 6.11%. Pejeruk Health Center which shows the highest prevalence of anemia in pregnant women in the city of Mataram by 27.08%. Research Methods. The research design used was Quasi Experimental with research design, namely Non Equivalent Control Group (Pretest and Posttest) with a study sample of 21 pregnant women who had anemia in the second trimester. How to take samples in this study by using Total Samples. The data analysis used was the Independent T-test to see the differences from the 2 groups, and to see the effect of nutritional counseling on knowledge and consumption using a statistical test in the form of a Paired T-Test with (p = <0.05). Research Result. The results showed that there was an effect of providing nutritional counseling on increasing knowledge and consumption of nutrients, namely Energy and Protein p = <0.005) and there was no effect of increasing iron (Fe) consumption (p => 0.005) Conclusion. The influence of giving nutritional counseling on increasing the knowledge and consumption of nutrients for anemia pregnant women in the pujeruk health center area

Abstract

Background : The status of the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on daily activities, the existence of social restriction policies has resulted in more people staying at home and has an impact on physical fitness. Adolescents’' physical activity has been related to activities at school, because schools were closed by the government during the Covid-19 pandemic, adolescents did a lot of activities in a sitting position such as studying online, playing online games, reading, watching television / cellphones. Behavior at home alone will be dangerous if it is not accompanied by active physical activity. This study aims to look at the description of physical activity during the Covid-19 pandemic.Methods : The research design used a cross sectional study, with adolescent respondents in the city of Mataram. Respondents were taken by random sampling and were willing to fill out informed consent. Physical activity questionnaire related to activities during the pandemic, frequency of sitting/lying down, frequency of standing/walking, frequency of lifting heavy weights, exercise habits, type of exercise, frequency of exercise, duration of exercise time, behavior of watching TV/mobile, length of time watching TV/mobile, habits cycling. Data were analyzed based on gender differences by univariate test, and using Chi Square test on physical activity.Results : Adolescent girls in this study were 85.14%, aged 19 years were 45.9%, and nutritional status was 5.4% underweight and 8.1% overweight. The results of the research showed that 90.5% of female adolescent girls were active at home, 54% of girls were sitting/lying down, while 63.6% of boys were standing/walking. The activity of lifting heavy weights is rarely carried out by teenage boys at 54.5%. Exercise habits were carried out by 90.9% male adolescents with 18.2% exercising 4-6 times/week, with a duration of 30 -60 minutes as much as 36.4%. Adolescent girls never cycled during the pandemic as much as 50.8%.Latar Belakang : Status pandemi Covid-19 berdampak terhadap aktivitas sehari-hari, adanya kebijakan kebijakan pembatasan sosial mengakibatkan masyarakat lebih banyak berdiam di rumah saja dan berdampak pada kebugaran fisik. Aktivitas fisik remaja selama ini berhubungan dengan aktivitas di sekolah, karena sekolah diliburkan oleh pemerintah selama pandemi Covid-19, remaja banyak melakukan kegiatan dalam posisi duduk seperti belajar online, bermain game online, membaca, menonton televisi / Hp. Perilaku dirumah saja akan berbahaya jika tidak dibarengi dengan aktivitas fisik yang aktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran aktivitas fisik selama pandemi Covid-19.Metode : Desain penelitian menggunakan cross sectional study, dengan responden remaja di Kota Mataram. Responden diambil secara random sampling dan bersedia mengisi informed consent. Kuesioner aktivitas fisik terkait aktivitas selama pandemi, frekuensi duduk/berbaring, frekuensi berdiri/berjalan, frekuensi mengangkat beban berat, kebiasaan olahraga, jenis olahraga, frekuensi olahraga, durasi waktu olahraga, perilaku nonton TV/Hp, lama waktu nonton TV/Hp, kebiasaan bersepeda. Data dianalisis berdasarkan perbedaan jenis kelamin secara uji univariate, dan menggunakan uji Chi Square terhadap aktifitas fisik. Hasil : Remaja perempuan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 85,14%, yang berumur 19 tahun sebanyak 45,9%, dan status gizi kurus berat 5,4% serta gemuk berat 8,1%. Hasil penelitian aktivitas fisik 90,5% remaja perempuan beraktivitas dirumah saja, aktivitas duduk/berbaring sering dilakukan remaja perempuan sebanyak 54%, sedangkan aktivitas berdiri/berjalan sering dilakukan oleh remaja laki-laki 63,6%. Aktivitas mengangkat beban berat jarang dilakukan remaja laki-laki sebesar 54,5%. Kebiasaan olahraga dilakukan oleh 90,9% remaja laki-laki dengan 18,2% berolahraga sebanyak 4-6 kali/minggu, dengan durasi 30 -60 menit sebanyak 36,4%. Remaja perempuan tidak pernah bersepeda selama pandemi sebanyak 50,8%.

Abstract

Background: Data on the assessment of nutritional status in West Nusa Tenggara in 2016 lack of nutrition problems increased, namely in 2016 as many as 15.6% while in 2017 there was an increase of 19.1%. From the data from the SKDN Babakan health center in 2017 it was found that there were still high fives who experienced malnutrition status. This can be seen from the data below the red line in Babakan health center, one of the high-fives health center working areas. 40 toddlers. Below the red line is a severe level of malnutrition so that when weighed the weight is below the red line on the card towards health. An understanding of how to provide proper food so that children want to eat is still not widely known and often does not provide complementary food for breast milk by reason of their children not wanting to eat. This study aims to determine the level   of   knowledge  of   mothers  of   children  under   five   after counseling. The Purpose Of Study : The purpose of this study was to determine the  effect  of  individual counseling  with  media  backsheet  on  the knowledge of mothers of children under five in the provision of complementary food for breast milk in infants under the age of 6 - 59 months. Methods: This study was conducted in April. This type of research is experimental using the design of the one group pretest posttest. The sample used in this study used saturated samples or used all populations as samples. Data analysis using analysis of Wilcoxon Sign Rank with the help of computers. Counseling of individuals is carried out 3 meetings for 50 minutes each meeting for 23 days. It is expected to increase the knowledge of mothers of children under five in the provision of complementary food for breast milk Results: The results of the study showed that there was an influence of individual counseling on increasing the knowledge of mothers under five about giving MP-ASI, with a value (p = 0.00 <0.05) Conclusion : : Increased knowledge of mothers of children under five in providing complementary food for breast milk to infants Under the red line after being given counseling with flipchart media.

Abstract

Background : Factors of education and knowledge mothers of toddlers can influence nutritional status. One effort to improve nutritional status is to increase knowledge about nutrition with nutrition counseling. Knowledge can be influenced by education, people who are highly educated will have broader knowledge and have openness to accept new things. While people with low education tend to have old thinking patterns and are less open to new things including a strong area of customs and traditional. One of the ways to influence the mindset of community with these condition is to use a communication facilitator who is believed to be a role model for the community. So, in this reseach the role of cultural figure was used, so that people receive more material. Objectives : Knowing the influence of  educatuin by cultural figure on knowledge of mothers of toddlers about balance nutritional massages. Methods : This Research is pre-experimental study. Which allows testing of changes that occur after the intervention. This research design was used one grup pretest-posttest design. Results : there is an increase in knowledge in the form of difference in scores from pretest to posttest. Based on the result of the analysis using wilcoxon, the influence of education by cultural figure on the knowledge of mothers of toddlers about balance nutritional massages obtained  p=0.00  atau p<0.05 meaning there is influence. Conclusion : There is the influence of education by cultural figure on knowledge of mothers of toddlers about balanced nutrition massages.
