Abstract

Paradigma pelayanan kefarmasian telah berubah orientasinya dari pengelolaan obat menjadi pelayanan yang komprehensif ke pasien. Standar pelayanan farmasi di apotek disusun dalam Permenkes nomor 73 Tahun 2016 sebagai pedoman bagi tenaga kefarmasian dalam menyelenggarakan pelayanan kefarmasian di apotek. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Pamekasan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan standar pelayanan kefarmasian di apotek di daerah Kabupaten Pamekasan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik survei menggunakan kuisioner. Survei menggunakan kuisioner dengan teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen dikembangkan berdasarkan Permenkes nomor 73 tahun 2016. Metode analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif untuk melihat distribusi pelaksanaan standar pelayanan kefamasian di Kabupaten Pamekasan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sediaan farmasi, alkes dan BMHP di Apotek Pamekasan dilakukan oleh apoteker dan dibantu oleh TTK, beberapa kegiatan dilakukan oleh TTK dibawah tanggung jawab apoteker. Dalam pelaksanaan standar pelayanan farmasi klinis, ada beberapa kegiatan yang mayoritas belum dilaksanakan di spotek Pamekasan yaitu dokumentasi pelayanan informasi obat, dokumentasi konseling, Pelayanan Kefarmasian di rumah, dokumentasi pelayanan kefarmasian di rumah, pemantauan Terapi Obat (PTO), dokumentasi pemantauan terapi obat, dan monitoring efek samping obat.

Abstract

The lack of public concern for washing hands during the Covid-19 pandemic, the authors designed an automatic sink using an arduino-based HC-SR04 ultrasound sensor to attract the public's interest. By making automatic sink technology using the HC-SR04 ultrasound sensor based on Arduino for use in hand washing by the community. This study uses experimental research that examines the effect of automatic washbasin with people's behavior in washing hands. By testing the use of water in 20 seconds, 43 people can use it in one day, and soap can be used by 6 people in one day in 5 seconds. The automatic sink using the HC-SR04 ultrasound sensor based arduino can be used with a distance that is made less than 15cm designed to be practical and sterile because it is used that does not touch faucets or soap. The conclusion of the study is that if there is an object that approaches the ultrasound sensor within a distance of less than 15cm, the water pump will be active for 20 seconds or the soap pump for 5 seconds will automatically come out. And it will run out if used for 934 seconds in 1 liter gallon or 46 people a day and the use of soap for 5 seconds will run out approximately 6 people in one day.

Abstract

Swamedikasi merupakan upaya pengobatan sendiri yang biasanya dilakukan untuk mengatasi penyakit ringan, seperti diare, influenza, batuk, pusing, nyeri dan demam. Obat yang aman digunakan untuk swamedikasi yaitu golongan obat bebas dan obat bebas terbatas. Swamedikasi dapat menjadi sangat beresiko yang disebabkan oleh diagnosa diri yang tidak tepat, keterlambatan dalam mencari nasihat medis ketika diperlukan, cara pemberian yang tidak tepat dan dosis yang tidak tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan penggunaan obat bebas dan obat bebas terbatas untuk swamedikasi pada masyarakat Desa Bettet, Kabupaten Pamekasan. Jumlah responden yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi adalah sebanyak 60 orang, dengan cara wawancara menggunakan kuisioner. Data yang diperoleh dari masing-masing item pertanyaan kuisioner dikumpulkan lalu dilakukan  scoring. Jawaban “benar” akan memperoleh score 2, jawaban “salah” akan memperoleh score 1, jawaban “tidak tahu” akan memperoleh score 0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan yang kurang baik mengenai penggunaan obat bebas dan obat bebas terbatas untuk swamedikasi, yaitu sebesar 46,9%. Responden tidak mengetahui penggolongan obat, penggunaan atau cara pemakaian serta cara penyimpanan obat.

Abstract

Piroxicam has the potential to cause side effects, especially in the liver, so that it can causes cell damage and impair the function and work of the liver organs. One way to minimize liver cell damage is by giving black cumin (Nigella sativa). This study aims to analyze the effect of black cumin (Nigella sativa) extract on the level of liver cell damage in rats (Rattus norvegicus) induced by Piroxicam. This study used 80 male rats and divided into 3 groups, namely negative control (K-), Piroxicam non-extract (P-) and Piroxicam plus extract (P +). Black cumin extract is given orally at a dose of 2 gr/kgBW; 3 gr/kgBW; 4 gr/kgBW; 5 gr/kgBW and 6 gr/kgBW, while the Piroxicam dosage given is 1 g/kgBW and 3 g/kgBW. The liver cell damage was done by observing the microscopic image. The results showed that the more doses of Piroxicam were given, the higher the level of cell damage. Along with increasing the dose of black cumin extract, the cell damage is reduced.

Abstract

Radiotherapy is cancer therapy using radiation. One of the tools used for radiotherapy is the Linac. Using Linac also can have a detrimental effect on radiation workers, patients, and the public. The reaction can cause activation around the room to become radioactive. Therefore, radiation protection is needed. This research aimed to measure environmental radiation exposure as a radiation protection effort around the Linac bunker. This research uses a quantitative method by collecting data directly on the area around the Linac bunker, with a distance of ± 30 cm from the bunker wall, using the STEP OD-02 Detector. The average Linac operation is 2000 hours/year, while the safe dose limit used is 1/2 dose Limit from Nuclear Power Monitoring Agency. Based on measurements of environmental radiation exposure, there are eight areas classified as safe and four other regions experiencing radiation leakage, including Doors with a radiation exposure difference of 0.078 Sv/hour; West Field (0.074 Sv/hour); TPS Room (0.302 Sv/hour); and Meeting Rooms (0.199 Sv/hour), but still within the safe limit of radiation dose. The environmental radiation exposure around the Linac Radiotherapy bunker is safe.

Abstract

The interaction of radiation with cells will form free radicals. Free radicals can cause cell damage. The presence of free radicals contained in cells could be detected using Electron Spin Resonance. Antioxidant compounds could minimize free radicals. This study analyzed curcumin extract and gamma radiation exposure on the area of free radical curves in the lungs of mice. Eighty male mice were used in this study and were divisible into three groups, namely the negative control group, the non-extract radiation group, and the extract plus radiation group. Curcumin extract was given at a dose of 1,4 gr/kgBB; 2,0 gr/kgBB; 2,6 gr/kgBB; 3,2 gr/kgBB and 3,8 gr/kgBB. The mice were exposed to gamma radiation for 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 minutes. The results showed that curcumin extract, which was given as prevention from gamma radiation, reduced the area of the free radical curve from 0,630 cm2 to 0,004 cm2.

Abstract

Piroxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that can cause side effects on the liver. If the liver is affected by side effects from using Piroxicam, it can cause cell damage so that the hepatic organs' function and work are disturbed. The biomarker of liver damage is the SGPT level. An increase in the SGPT ratio indicates serious liver damage. One way to minimize liver damage is by giving antioxidants. One of the many herbal plants used to prevent or treat various diseases is black cumin (Nigella sativa). This study aimed to analyze the effect of black cumin extract on the liver SGPT levels of Piroxicam-induced rats. Eighty male mice were used in this study and were divided into three groups, namely the negative control group (K-), Piroxicam non-extract (P-), and Piroxicam plus extract (P +). Black cumin extract is given orally at a dose of 2 gr / kgBW; 3 gr / kgBB; 4 gr / kgBB; 5 gr / kg body weight and 6 g / kg body weight, while the Piroxicam dosage given is 1 g / kg and 3 g / kg body weight. The results showed that the more Piroxicam doses were given, the higher the SGPT level. Along with the increase in the dose of black cumin extract, the SGPT level is reduced.

Abstract

Piroxicam merupakan salah satu obat anti inflamasi non steroid (OAINS) yang berpotensi menyebabkan kerusakan sel pada organ hepar. Kerusakan hepar ditandai dengan tingginya kadar MDA (Malondialdehyde) dalam darah. Kerusakan sel hepar dapat diminimalisir oleh senyawa antioksidan. Efektivitas senyawa antioksidan dapat ditunjukkan dengan adanya kadar SOD (Superoksida Dismutase) dalam darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pemberian ekstrak jintan hitam (Nigella sativa) terhadap kadar MDA dan SOD hepar tikus (Rattus norvegicus) yang diinduksi Piroxicam. Penelitian ini menggunakan 80 ekor tikus jantan dan dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok, yaitu kontrol negatif, Piroxicam negatif dan Piroxicam positif. Pemberian ekstrak jintan hitam diberikan secara oral dengan dosis 2 gr/kgBB; 3 gr/kgBB; 4 gr/kgBB; 5 gr/kgBB dan 6 gr/kgBB, sedangkan dosis Piroxicam yang digunakan adalah 1 gr/kg BB dan 3 gr/kg BB. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin banyak dosis Piroxicam yang diberikan, maka semakin tinggi kadar MDA dan semakin rendah kadar SOD. Seiring dengan penambahan dosis ekstrak jintan hitam, maka kadar MDA menjadi berkurang dan kadar SOD meningkat.

Abstract

The use of handphone is increasing, making handphone users have to focus more on the side effects of using handphone on health. Handphone is included in the category of electromagnetic waves. Exposure to electromagnetic fields can affect human health, especially the hematological profile. This type of research is observational research with a descriptive approach. Hemoglobin, erythrocyte, leukocyte and thrombocyte levels were obtained from the results of blood checks in the laboratory. The results showed that exposure to handphone radiation caused a decrease in hemoglobin levels up to 11%, an increase in erythrocyte levels up to 13%, an increase in leukocyte levels up to 14%, and an increase in thrombocyte levels up to 35%.Handphone radiation triggersoxidative stress caused by formation of ROS (Reactive Oxygen Species).

Abstract

In daily activities, there is a phenomenon that is the opinion of the general public that people who wear black feel hotter than people who wear other colors. A bulb is an artificial light source that results from channeling an electric current through a filament which then heats up and produces light. This research aims to measure the heat radiation value of different colored bulbs. The method of this research is that several bulbs of different colors are measured for heat radiation at varying times of 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 25 minutes and 30 minutes. The research results show that black has the largest temperature changes, and transparent colors have the smallest temperature changes compared to other colors. Dominantly dark colors are better conductors of heat.
