Abstract

Krisis kemanuoiaan dan kebangsaan yang dihadapi olehmasyarakat Indonesia hingga kini belum dapat diatasi secaratuntas. Kondisi demikian Jiduga bermula dari apa yang dihasilkanoleh dunia pendidikan. Proses monopolisasi kepentingan,liberalisasi dan komersialisasi pendidikan serta kebutuhan seringkali terjadi. Anak seakan tidak boleh mengetahui mengenai realitasdiri dan dunianya yang tertindas. Sebab kesadaran demikian akanmembahayakan kescimbangan struktur masyarakat hirarkhispiramidal yang selama ini diinginkan oleh sekelompok elite sosialpolitis. Pendidikan yang berkeadilan sosial merupakan upaya yangdiharapkan mlll'1pu mengatasi masalah-masalah di atas. Hal ituhanya dapat dicapai lewat proses pendidikan bebas dan metodepembelajaran aksi dialogal. Keaktifan siswa menjadi unsur amatpenting dalam menentukan kesuksesan belajar. Pendidikandiharapkan mampu mewujudkan proses demokratisasi belajar,suatu proses pendemokrasian yang mencerminkan bahwa belajaradalah atas prakarsa anak. Demokrasi belajar berisi pengakuan hakanak untuk mrlakukan tindakan belajar sesuai dengankarakteristiknya. Salah satu prasyarat terwujudnya masyarakatbelajar yang demokratis dan/atau berkeaC:ilan adalah adanyapengemnsan pembelajaran yar1g beragam dengan caramenghapuskan penyeragaman kurikulum, strategi pembelajaran,bahan ajar dan evaluasi belajar. Peran sekolah dalam mewujudkanpendidikan yang berkeadilan sosial mampu mengembangkanseluruh potensi masing-masing anak secara maksimal tanpa harusmengganggu perkembang~n potensi individu-individu lainnya.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine: (1) learning resources used by science teachers, (2) the ability of science teachers to utilize learning resources, and (3) the implications of using learning resources on the quality of science teachers in the learning process. This study was a field study with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study was science teachers at SMP N 3 Purworejo. Techniques used in data analysis was an interactive model by Miles & Huberman including data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The result showed that learning resources used by science teachers include in the environment around the school, the environment around the residence of learners, and learning outside of school. The ability of science teachers to utilize learning resources, overall all science teachers of SMP Negeri 3 Purworejo was able to use it. Implications use of learning resources on the quality of science teachers in learning process was teacher able to give more motivation, maximize learning time, and maximize creativity.

Abstract

The quantitative research employed quasi-experimental research with one pretest-posttest group was done to examine the knowledge of pregnant women about family planning and the choosing of contraception. The sample of this study was 41 pregnant women recruited by incidental sampling techniques. Questionnaires for pregnant women provide maternal identity, questions for knowledge about family planning, and the choice of contraception chosen. Data analysis used Wilcoxon test. Multimedia improves the knowledge and choice of contraception among pregnant women.

Abstract

This article aims to build paradigms, strategies, and stages of learning models that can reduce learning barriers. The learning process can benefit changes in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects for the better. This research was conducted because it saw the reality of the problem of low learning achievement. This was qualitative study employed induction approach. The analysis of generic analytic style employed as theory development. This research found an online independent learning model consisting of five stages: preparation, exploration, verification, analysis, and reflection called PEVAR. Techno self online learning PEVAR offers a technology-based self-study alternative. Techno self online learning PEVAR is built based on the paradigm of behaviorism, constructivism, and cognitive. This learning model increases learning achievement, which is marked by increasing students' affective, cognitive, and psychomotor abilities. The strategies used to achieve the goals are commitment, discipline, motivation, confidence, creativity, activity, effectiveness, and efficiency in learning.

Abstract

Many elementary students still find it difficult to understand the literature content used and it automatically affects their reading and writing skills. However, the adjustment of literature with local wisdom-based content needs to be considered as a supporting tool. This study aimed to improve reading and writing skills using textbook based on local wisdom. The sample was grade 4 of elementary school students who selected using purposive random sampling. This research used a nonequivalent control group design through the experiment and control classes. Data were collected through writing and reading skills test of 32 students in each class and analyzed using N-gain to describe the treatment effect. The results showed that textbooks based on local wisdom were more effective than teaching materials that were not integrated by local wisdom at improving students' reading and writing skills. In the future, this study is a reference for teachers to apply local wisdom to other learning themes.

Abstract

This study confirms the correlation model constructed among organizational abilities variables of secondary school teachers. The organizational abilities variables are: organizational commitment, and professional commitment, job satisfaction, and job performance. The samples are secondary school teachers selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through a rating scale questionnaire (1-5) and analyzed using Lisrel 8.0 program. The results show that professional commitment has a significant effect on organizational commitment and job satisfaction with values of 2.72 and 2.60. Other findings that organizational commitment and job satisfaction have an effect on job performance with values of 2.36 and 2.02. Empirically, the results concluded that the correlation among the variables theoretically fulfilled the fit criteria.

Abstract

The right view of inclusive education is very influential on the success of the implementation of inclusive education, starting from the policies applied, routines that will bring up a culture of acceptance of diversity and the implementation of classroom learning. The principal becomes the agent of change and as the main key in the development, initiator of innovation and decision making on the implementation of inclusive education until the realization of the success of the implementation practices in school. The purpose of this study is to explain the principal's view of inclusive education in Yogyakarta Elementary School. Questionnaires were distributed to 25 principals in elementary schools in five districts in Yogyakarta Special Region. The results showed that the majority of principals in SD DIY have a narrow view of inclusive education, which is still limited to the acceptance of children with special needs, but the majority of principals agree and are open that children with special needs for school and study together with other children in the classroom regular / general.

Kondisi pengajaran di SD hingga kini rna-sih kurangrnenekankan pada pengajaran sebagai proses. Keg~atan pengajaranmasih sering disajikan hanya dalam bentuk' pemberianinformasi kurang didukung dengan penggunaan' 'media dansumber-sumber lain. Karena, belajar baru akan terjadi jikaindividu berinteraksi dengan lingkungan atau sumber belajar.Untuk itu tugas guru sebagai pemberi Hmu sudah harusbergeser kepada peran baru yang lebih kondusif bagi siswa,yaitu dapat memilih dan mengkombinasikan metode mengajarnyadengan sumber-sumber belajar atau media pengajaranyang ada. Untuk keperluan itll guru dapat membua~ sendiripaket media pengajaran dari bahan-bahan dan a.iat-alatsederhana yang murah harganya dan mudah diperoleh.Sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh para ahli pengajaranbahwa efektivitas media dalam sistem pengajaran tidak terletakpada media apa yang digunakan.. tetapi bagai.manamedia tersebut digunakan. Maka intensitas penggunaari mediasangatlah penting. Inten5itas penggunaan media dapat dilihatdari aspek kuantitas maupun kualitasnya. Dad aspek kuantitaspenggunaan media, ukurannya adalah keseringan a taufrekuensi media digunakan dalam kegiatan pengajaran.Sedangkan dari aspek kualitas penggunaan media, dapatdilihat dad bobot penggunaannya. yaitu ketepatan dankebermaknaan media bagi kepentingan belajar mudd. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rujukan integratif (normatif, prosedural, dan kontekstual) dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan strategi analisis isi dengan unit sampling berupa dokumen hasil penelitian yang relevan dengan nilai karakter yang dihasilkan oleh perguruan tinggi di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dan sekitarnya. Penentuan sampel didasarkan pada unit-unit dan subunit analisis, sedangkan sistem pencatatan berupa pengodean yang dideskripsikan dalam bentuk data untuk dianalisis. Hasilnya pertama, rujukan normatif yang dipakai adalah agama (60%), tujuan pendidikan nasional (25%), budaya (10%), dan Pancasila (5%); kedua, rujukan prosedural praktik dalam bentuk doktrin (45%), pembiasaan (37%), keteladanan (11%), pengembangan iklim suasana (5%), pengembangan penalaran dan perasaan (4%), dan partisipatif/kolaboratif (1%); serta ketiga, rujukan kontekstual berupa pengondisian lingkungan sekolah (56%), program khusus (24%), kegiatan keluar sekolah (13%), kerja sama orang tua (4%), dan upaya preventif (3%)
