Abstract

The good industrial development in Indonesia gave rise to new industries aimed at increasing production capacity. Efforts are made to increase capacity by carrying out continuous improvement. One that can be done is to provide an understanding of 5S and 5S audits. PT IGP has so far implemented 5S, but sometimes employees still need to be reminded of the 5S implementation. Therefore it is necessary to carry out 5S audits and internalize 5S understanding for employees and management. This Community Service Activity (PkM) was carried out. Beginning with observation, problem identification, literature study, data collection and processing, as well as analysis and giving recommendations, then conclusions and suggestions are made. The audit results show that the average audit score is 3.1 out of a scale of 4. Meanwhile, the score that needs attention is the sort, which is 2.79. From the results of the audit, internalization of 5S understanding was carried out through the creation of a 5S pocket book to increase 5S understanding for employees. By giving a pocket book there is an increase in understanding before internalization is carried out with a pretest with an average score of 60.625 after being given an understanding of 5S, the score becomes 80.625.

Abstract

Perencanaan produksi merupakan suatu kegiatan yang sangat penting dan diperlukan dalam suatu perusahaan. Perencanaan produksi dapat dimulai dengan peramalan permintaan konsumen yang akan menjadi patokan dalam menentukan jumlah barang yang akan diproduksi. Bagian produksi tiang besi merupakan bagian yang sangat penting pada PT XYZ karena tiang besi merupakan produksi tertua yang masih beroperasi dan menghasilkan keuntungan terbesar bagi perusahaan. Permintaan pasar terhadap tiang besi tidaklah merata disetiap bulannya melainkan cendrung berpola musiman. Hal ini menyebabkan perencanaan produksi yang dilakukan oleh pihak perusahaan seringkali tidak tepat sehingga pemanfaatan sumber daya tidak merata disetiap periodenya. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan penelitian agar dapat merencanakan produksi yang tepat untuk pola permintaan musiman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian peramalan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode konstan karena memiliki error terkecil. Sedangkan Perencanaan produksi agregat yang terpilih yaitu level strategy dengan total biaya produksi sebesar Rp. 3.644.729.500,-. Berdasarkan hasil perencanaan produksi agregat dan disagregasi didapatkan jadwal induk produksi untuk setiap jenis tiang per periode dengan jumlah produksi terbanyak yaitu jenis tiang 11-200.

Abstract

PT Rachmat Perdana Adhimetal is one of the manufacturing industries engaged in the manufacture of automotive and non-automotive components in the Delta industrial area, Cikarang, Bekasi Regency. In the implementation of the production process on the cutting line, the company experienced a breakdown problem. Of the 8 available cutting machines, there is 1 machine, the 476 cutting machine which has the highest breakdown frequency. To overcome these problems, data related to operating time, output and downtime is collected, followed by data processing using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) which can describe the efficiency of the machine. The results of data processing showed an OEE value of 68% of the standard value of 85%. Furthermore, an analysis was carried out with six big Losses, the results showed that there were 2 largest Losses, reduce speed Losses with a value of 14.90% and breakdown losses with a value of 12.65%. Followed by a cause analysis using a causal diagram to find out the factors that affect engine performance from machines and humans. To determine the priority of repairs made on the 476 cutting machine, an analysis was carried out using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Priority for repairs based on the value of RPN 120 in the type of failure there is no wind pressure regulator with the repair of installing air speed adjuster/faucet, the value of RPN 102 in the type of failure of maintenance staff does not understand the daily checksheet with the improvement of the socialization of the daily checksheet to the maintenance staff, the value of RPN 54 in the type of failure 1/3 of the wind pressure is divided into the air sprayer and the value of RPN 21 in the type of failure leader does not understand the SOP for moving materials at the beginning of the set up with improvement of socialization of SOPs for moving materials at the beginning of the set up to the leader. The OEE value after the improvement showed a value of 77%, an increase of 9% from before the improvement.
